I love these. I have feet that are wide in the front, but narrow in back and the adjustable insole makes these one of the most comfy shoes I've ever owned. Not my usual style, but worth it. They also fit my ankle perfectly and provide a lot of support. They look just like the picture.

Oh yeah...comfort has been found in these shoes. I will look for more GoLite shoes and this shoe makes my size 12 boats look smaller thanks to the lacing. Inserts make the shoe adjustable for hard-to-fit feet.

Ordered this shoe for my husband to wear to Europe this summer. He loves how lightweight and supportive this shoe is. And as always, Zappos is wonderful!

I bought these about 6 months ago. I am a big fan. They have worn well and are excellent for hiking. I wear them to work and I wear them for play. My feet don't sweat in them.

I am very pleased with these shoes. They are very comfortable. I also like the color. I can wear them with anything.

I had these shipped out to the mountains of AZ where my son and i spent last week's school vacation. We hiked seven days in a row with these out of the box and really put them to the test...they offer great support, were very comfortable, and the grip/traction enabled us to do some more dodgy stuff like bouldering with ease. Hated to return to the real world where I have to wait to the weekend to put them back on. Love the ochre color and rugged design. I have a wide foot but did not need the inserts...can't recommend these shoes enough!

I love these shoes! I have a pair in green as well and they are the most comfortable shoes I have owned in a long time.

I got a pair of GoLites for me, and as soon as I put them on, I knew my husband would appreciate the shoe for our Iceland trip. He LOVES them and they were great for the trip. Purchased a half-size larger, as I did with mine. No break-in needed, he opted for the wider fit (the shoe adjusts for width, very easy). He wore them pretty much everywhere and is still wearing them! Fab grippy soles. Wet rocks, gravel paths,hills, stairs, bike riding, rainy sidewalks - we encountered a bit of everything on our trip. Plus the shoe looks good and the olive color is nice. Great purchase. Be patient with the sizes.

Great sturdy shoe out of the box. Will be one of my two pairs of shoes I travel with. Great for my active lifestyle and worn out feet.

Ordered size 13 for my husband who is difficult to fit. Not only do they fit well; they are very comfortable and stylish. I have searched everywhere to find another go lite in size 13; but none are available anywhere! Please get large sizes back in stock.

I have very particular criteria when i buy trail shoes: [1]Good for wide feet. [2]Actually has shoelace grommets for durability that most others are missing! [3]"Properly" Reinforced toe area. [4]Can be worn all year. [5]Looks great with most jeans or shorts. [6]Needs to last at least 1.5 years. I wear these daily. I did not use the provided front-inserts because shoe box was roomy as-is for my fat feet. If you wear a size 13(4e) in New Balance Or a 14 in Keens, buy a 14 in this shoe. You will need a aftermarket heel insert to rise your heel out of shoe 1/2inch because it literally rubs your heel bloody raw within hour of walking and the heel-top is reinforced and cannot be made flexible by manually bending. I improvised and used pair of thick insulated winter socks, cut the top-halfs folding/tucking each under stock insoles heel, Works! They are sharp looking and make your feet look normal and not like clown-shoes. Price point shoulda been less, I paid more with tax, but I'm picky.

I don't think I have a wide or large foot (pretty standard size 10). But, I had to remove the default insert due to the top of the toe box pushing on top of my foot. That worked great. Have worn them all day with great comfort. I went for one run around the block. Held up great. Looking forward to getting them on the trail.

The shoes arrived early and are just as described. The shoes also come with changeable inserts to help with fitting of foot width.

First let me start by saying I really like the style of these shoes. Initially the fit was very good; however, now that I have been wearing them for a few weeks they are rubbing my achilles bad enough that I have stopped wearing them. I have not had this trouble with any other shoe, so I am not sure what is wrong.

This is a nice shoe, but it has one serious problem. The intermediate sole material that is sandwiched between the upper leather part of the shoe and bottom traction part of the sole is made of a white foam material. This white foam material has been painted black to blend with the shoe. After wearing the shoe for about a week, the black paint has started peel away exposing the white foam material which has resulted in a very unattractive shoe.

A perfect example of how quality materials and construction can still go horribly wrong. Shoes were covered in scuffs and something that looked like melted plastic. there was a hole in the side of the sole, a small piece of eva chunked out and a improperly finished stitch. The glue used on the shoe was extremely messy. I walked under two miles in them in the city and the heels gave me bleeding blisters on both of my achilles. I had to stop the hell down and use them as slip ons. The tongue is too long an slides with the front tendon of the foot. I could feel the tongue trying to wrinkle down on top of my foot on every stride. Awful quality control and design, shame because the materials are nice.

I wish these shoes didn't chafe the tops of my heels. The shoes are great looking, and feel comfortable when you lace them up. You only have to take a few steps, though, and you feel the back of the shoes rubbing on your heel. I took them on a 1 1/2 mile walk with the dogs, then ran errands around town in them, as a field test to see how my heels would hold up. Unfortunately, I was so sore when I got home, I had to immediately remove them. I tried wearing them again the next day, and was still too sore to wear them. At this point, I've probably worn them too much to return them, so I m trying to loosen up the back end of the shoe, hoping it will give some flex so they become wearable. Otherwise, my investment is gone. If you re looking for a shoe that you can lace up and hit the trail hard straight out of the box, you d better pass on these.

Check out the rear view of these shoes. See that black bit? It's hard, and it's sharp. I wore these for four blocks, and my heels were absolutely shredded. I walked home in my socks. And now I can't return them, because of the blood. Seriously.

I picked these out for my trip to Africa because I liked the style. Unfortunately I didn't wear them much before my departure. By the time I landed in Tanzania the right shoe had about worn a hole in my heal. The material at the top part of the heal of the shoe is made of a very hard rubber that was very abrasive. They about killed my right foot. Also the rubber compound that the sole is made of does not offer any traction on wet smooth surface such as rocks. I would not recommend.

These shoes gave me a serious injury when running in them. In just 2 miles they wore through my skin and made me bleed. I run a moderate amount, around 10 miles a week and my feet are conditioned. I am still suffering from this injury 2 weeks later.
