I bought a pair 4 years ago and I find it comfortable but after using it for less than a year it started making a squeaking sound when I walk and my coworkers make fun of me and my shoes so I was forced to get a different pair of shoes eventhough nothing is wrong with the leather. Since I really liked the Wallabee Black Leather, I bought another pair last year but same thing happened. I do not know why is it making noise after wearing it for like 4-5 months.
I still want another pair and will give it another chance, but if the same issue will repeat then that will be the last.

Ordered Beeswax Wallabees. Lost in trsnsit but they gave me 25% off second order attempt. They arrived fine but leather nothing like my past three pair. Lighter in color and slight suede looking finish. Returned them and bought the lower end version at Clarks outlet. At least the color looked the same. The lighter pair in photo were supposed to be the original beeswax design.

I bought my first pair of "desert boots" (now called Wallabee's) back in 1965 as a junior in HS. Would never be without a pair ever since, but the problem with them is they just NEVER wear out! Love love love love 'em!

These shoes feel great right out of the box. I don’t have wide feet as I am 5’8” 145lbs but the normal width was tight getting my foot in. After many reviews said that they run big I got a half size smaller and they were just too tight for my foot in length and width. These were a 9 and I normally wear 9 1/2. Maybe the fit would be perfect then but I am not certain. Also, I want to wear these to work but the style looks more like a slipper, so I return for a different color. These are the light brown suede shoe.

I bought these about 1 month ago and they are the most comfortable shoes I own already ordered another pair in brown. Size is spot on and width was perfect. Checked out their new releases for "23" just waiting for a sale.

Well constructed but the shoe needs to be wider. Ordering the next half size did not help.

Decided to go a half size down to 11.5 to wear with thinner socks because material is not breathable. The soles feel comfortable and the shoe looks really nice.

These are pretty great casual shoes that tend to be a little bit more "dress code" appropriate than sneakers but still as comfortable to wear around all day. A solid, classic choice with just about any clothes, especially jeans. I have even worn these with shorts in the summer and they still look fly. It takes a little while to break in a new pair and get them to that stage of legendary comfort that everyone talks about, but this is a sign of the sturdiness of a good shoe that will last. Mine were fairly stiff when I took them out of the box but have softened up considerably since. If you are looking to have shoes that will be easy to keep spotless, the sand color is probably a bad choice, but I think it actually does look better when well-worn.

The shoes are fine. I would have preferred a somewhat lighter color but am OK with the dark brown. I have had Wallabees before, this pair replaced one that had finally come to the end of useful service, and I didn't expect differently. Zappos service was great. I got a better price than expected and the shoes arrived very quickly.

Good casual shoe -
I have a hard time finding shoes that I like but this is one of them. I really like how they look and feel. The leather is super soft. Crouching or running will make them feel lose or floppy but the shape is back the next morning.

Revisiting an old friend -
I wore through alot of these way back when they were made in Ireland. Absolultely loved them, and really looked forward to re-acquaint myself with their comfort and durability from their new factory in China. I seem to have alot of difficulty getting comfort and durability out of anything around these days, and that is not price dependent. My shoe size is 10D, and in the old days just had to tell the salesman the size and whether it was a Bostonian, Clarks, or Florsheim, the shoe would fit perfectly. Not any more.
When I received these, they are visually the same as I remembered, a very nice style, same as before. I perceived that the upper part of the heel did not curve inward enough to keep it from flopping, kinda like the Gokeys that Orvis sells. But when I actually stepped into the shoe and laced up, they are OK. Not perfect, but quite acceptable. And so, I am ordering another pair in another color. One happy camper, as the saying goes.

First of all, the style of this shoe is great, a true classic. It seems well made, with good quality materials. My only pet peeve is the weight of theses shoes. If you walk a lot like me, they are tiresome due to their weight. Zappos shows their weight in size 7.5 2 1 lb 2 oz, which can be a bit misleading. I wear size 11, so they are significantly heavier.

Decent shoes!
I love the Wallabee boots and this was the first time I bought the shoes. Not as comfortable, they cut into the ankle some and leave a mark. I will buy the boots again but this will be my only pair of the shoes.

The heel cuts my ankles, even after months of wear. It never softened as I expected it would. They look cute, but they destroy my feet.

I wanted to love the Wallabee Clark because they're quite stylish. Unfortunately, I find them to be extremely uncomfortable for several reasons. Initially, the bounciness of the gummy sole feels great but it quickly leads to foot soreness. It's similar to sleeping of super-soft mattress: you think you're comfortable until you wake up the next morning sore all over from lack of firmness and support. Second, these shoes are extremely heavy. It's like walking around with weights on your feet. After wearing them for half a day my legs are fatigued and I feel like I want to lie down and take a nap. For me the real test of a great shoe is when you can forget you have them on. I'm always aware of the Wallabee and at the end of the day I can't wait to take them off. Also, the interior of the shoe bleeds dye onto your socks. Not good. Finally, the Wallabee offers no insulation. On cold days you can feel the wind through the leather as if you were walking barefoot. Certainly not acceptable in the city of Chicago. I tried for several weeks to make these shoes work but finally gave up and donated them to the Salvation Army. Hopefully their next owner will have better luck.
