Great "little" carry-on; complies with the strictest of airlines (especially when traveling in Europe). A MacBook Pro 15" is a very snug fit but it works in the appointed Laptop layer with a couple of hard drives and accessories. Space for a change of clothes and a bit more in the clothes compartment. Great bag - light on weight and maneuverable.

I LOVE this Carry On Bag. I never thought I'd be so excited about something so simple, but with Airlines cracking down on Carry On Baggage size, this Roller is perfect. It has lots of compartments and even though it's listed at 20", the structure and design makes it appear much smaller, yet it easily packs my 13" Mac and 15" ThinkPad with room to spare, and that my friend is just the tech part of this bag. The North Face Overhead is not only perfection, but it's well made, the wheels glide, the structure is unsurpassed and I'm happy, and trust me, I'm picky, this carry on is my new Best Friend. Thank you Zappos, also thanks to the lady who helped me choose this fantastic roller, she was brilliant, and please tell her I'll be wishing her Happy Birthday May 27th - Okay, I'm off to do my Happy Dance.

This carry-on is excellent, I simply love it! I wish it could open on a side so you can flip the lid out of the way when putting stuff in, however I guess it´s just a system and I´ve gotten used to it and not mind it at all. It´s a little trooper.

As a frequent traveler who averages 60-80 flights a year, having a sturdy carry-on bag is crucial. While I typically travel with a larger 22" carry-on for longer trips, I found that it was overkill for smaller 2-3 day trips, so I purchased The North Face Overhead to bridge this gap. On the plus side, this bag is the perfect size for a 2-3 day trip, the wheels are excellent and handle is very well designed. The bag looks good, plenty of handles on all the sides to grab and bag and go. There is a padded sleeve for a laptop, but I'd be hesitant to use it since it's at the front of the suitcase and prone to more abuse. Also, because the front pocket does not lock, I would not put any valuables in it just in case the overhead ends up being checked. The compression straps inside the case are useful, as are the two compression straps on the outside as well. It makes it easier to compress the bag down to fit those annoying luggage sizers at the airport, but I doubt you'll run into any issues given the bag's size. There is one critical issue with the bag that prevents me from giving it 5 stars. Due to poor design, the bag does not open fully / lay flat. This makes packing the bag more difficult as the case keeps on closing. While this is not a deal breaker for me, since the size was really the selling point for me, it really prevents me from giving it a top rating.
