This is a great sweater. It runs true to size, with a fit that I find to be perfect. It is not too big or too small. I run a little hot and have found this sweater to be perfect for 30/40/50 degree weather. Anything colder or if really windy you would want something warmer. You can wash this sweater but I would not recommend drying it as it might pill.

Love this sweater. Functional and stylish! I got the stonewash color thinking it was more khaki...but it's clearly gray.

Anything well over 50°F and this is the best casual sweater jacket around. Super soft inner fabric, handsome outer fabric. If you wear a shell over it or put on a pack, it will pill very, very quickly. Think of this as your date-night or bar hopping sweater. Great zippers, collar can be annoying, but in my opinion, its aesthetics and the level of comfort are worth it. Prussian blue color is subdued, subtle, and beautiful. I am 6'1", 175 lbs, large is perfect. Hits just below the waste. If you want a tight fit, grab the medium, the sleeve length was still fine for me in the store, but I wanted a bit more coverage so I went for the L.

Truly feels like a sweater. Length is a little long. Exterior is not very durable.

I was looking for something that I could wear with boots and tennis shoes. This jacket fits the bill. It is versatile and very warm. It has a nice fit to it and is great to throw over a t-shirt. A little pricey, but it is an item I will wear almost everyday in the winter. I am 6' 185lb and the large fits great.

This is a very nice quality jacket, I am 6'2" 180 pounds and the jacket size large fits perfectly. This is to replace my North Face Denali jacket that was unfortunately stolen from me at a bar. I needed a jacket to finish out the spring with but I did not want to spend too much this time. The jacket is very lowkey and the sweater material looks really nice.

This is a fantastic sweater jacket, but it is huge. I have a 48" chest and a 36" waist, and I am swimming in this jacket. It is great quality, and even better style, but I would recommend ordering a size down from normal.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who has always had a lot of Patagonia products. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of this item. After only a few washes it already looks awful. It has started piling on every surface even though the laundering directions were followed. He has resorted back to other items because the Better Sweater looks so raggedy now.

I gave this sweater to my husband for Christmas. He normally wears an XXL and the sizing was perfect for him. It is his favorite sweater!

Ordered this as a gift for my father-in-law who is a very conservative East Coast-er. He LOVED it. Very comfortable and "smart" looking. A perfect blend of casual/comfortable while being structured enough to not look sloppy. 5 stars!!

This is comfortable. It is a little big, I am an XL and after a wash and a high heat dry it fits perfectly. It is fantastic quality, I have been wearing these since college and I would not buy another brand fleece. Hands down the best.

Improved over previous years version. It's a slightly more snug fit, but more comfortable. True to size (I wear a large). With the slimmer fit I can wear it as an outer or inner layer during the winter.

I got this as a gift for someone. I was told that it's a very warm sweater. The design is versatile enough that he could wear it almost anywhere. The fabric doesn't pill and I thought it would based on the pictures. It fits a 5'11" guy weighing about 180 lbs very well.

This is a great light jacket with surprising warmth. Fits well and it well made.

There is a reason they named it the Better Sweater. Good fit with sleeves that are long enough (I am 6'3" and large fits great), not bulky but warm. I wear it all the time. After I got mine my wife ordered one and we bought one for my father-in-law for his 80th birthday. He is very hip and does not act his age. I would highly recommend this sweater.

This jacket is awesome. I love everything about it. It's just as warm if not warmer than a North Face Denali and it is way more stylish. Fits perfect to size and very well made, i.e. the zippers are somewhat heavy duty and the inner lining is very soft. Great jacket will probably buy the same one in a different color in the near future.

Great sweater. More of a jacket though. Runs a size larger. I went into the Patagonia store and tried it on first luckily. I am 6'3", 195 lbs and got a Medium because I like the jacket to be a little more form fitting. Fits perfect!

I had to order twice. The first came in with an XML tag which was what I ordered but collar tag and garment was 2XL. Also the collar looked a bit worn on the edges. I sent it back and reordered. The second one was good. I felt it was a bit pricey though.
