I love this bag, I have it in a off white. It has a lot of room inside,and two pockets outside for cell phone,and anything else that you want to get out fast. It is well made for the money, I cannot see paying for some of these designer bags they are no better made than this one for such a great price!

The tan color must have changed since the reviews from 2011. Mine is a British tan which I would describe as butterscotch, not mustard. It's an orangey tan. Very classic and will look chic with any outfit. It's the kind of bag that doesn't blend in with your outfit, it is its own statement piece. The size is a bit smaller in today's world of giant bags; definitely not an overnighter. The shape is compact & deceivingly is very roomy and easy to access the inside. The outer pockets are deep and width enough for my keys, work badge and large cell phone to stay tucked in safely. The handles are not too long. It's extremely soft, genuine leather that I just want to touch for the pleasure of it. Worthy investment.

I have been carrying this purse in red for over a year and absolutely love it. The leather is soft and supple, the feet protect the bottom from damage, the hardware is very well built and I have had no problems with it. At first I was worried that the satin interior (which is lovely) would get frayed from use but it has held up well. Before buying this purse I had never heard of Tignanello but always bought quality leather purses. I will buy this brand again.

I purchased the black satchel. It is a soft leather satchel with subtle brown piping. The size is ideal for me because I usually carry my wallet, glasses, a small makeup case and a book when I travel short distances.

Wow! I should have bought this sooner! I love it. It is roomy. It doesn't have that stupid middle zipper compartment that I hate. It has the four outside slip pockets...love those. I'm not wild about a satchel unless I want to carry it as one because I think it looks silly with the shoulder strap and the other handles hanging down. But I plan to carry this as a satchel so I love it.

I've been looking for a simple, leather purse for years and have been unable to find one. This one is almost perfect. I was looking for more of a brown color, but the cognac is fine. The inside material is a beautiful pattern. The outside is nice, soft leather. Love it. The one criticism I have is that the four outside pockets are the same. I always put my keys in the pocket that's kitty corner to the Tignanello tag. That's how I remember where they are. Other than that, highly recommend. Thanks for a great product. Please make more. Purses should be elegant and simple, roomy but not huge - and there aren't a lot out there that fit that description.

I love this bag. It is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. I wish the color was more red, but I am still very happy with the tomato shade. I have received many compliments on the bag and am very happy with it.

I bought this bag in the tomato color at a Macy's one-day sale. Because the zipper was slightly sticky they gave me an extra 10% off, so I ended up paying substantially less than this price and am so happy with this purchase. In this economy that was a splurge for me. I'm sorry -- I had to have it. It's stylish and soft, in fact, so buttery soft and supple and I love the new leather smell. Reminds me of a new car. The striped, sateen interior may get old to look at but I think in the long run it will wear well. It's small like a satchel but can be used with the shoulder strap. I carry a large wallet, umbrella, makeup case, phone, flashlight and keys and still have room for random leftovers. The color is loud and it goes with a lot of fun items in my wardrobe. The four outer pockets are cool and can securely hold any cell phone. The feet on the bottom keep it from getting scuffed and dirty. Yup, it's my new favorite bag. If I had any complaint, it would be that the zipper is still a bit sticky, but I bought with an "as is" clause so I cannot return it to Macy's if it does fail (I don't think it will). Thumbs up, nice bag.

I purchased this awesome bag in Cognac. I like the color - it is not a mustard shade. Think more like the underside of a Ritz cracker. The functionality is fantastic. I've carried it by both the clutch handles and the shoulder handle - both very comfortable. The 4 exterior pockets are great for keys, phones, loose change etc. I am definitely considering purchasing another in black or brown. Oh - and the true leather smell is incredible! :)

I really like this purse. I like the size, the pockets on the size, the weight is great. I can find my phone right a way. I have to say that up to this point I was ready to design and make my own purse, in demin and find someone to make it for me in soft leather. I would just want a longer strap to make it a cross body. Shoulder straps a bit bigger.

I have this in blue. It is my everyday errand/shopping bag, whether I'm running to groceries, or to buy something at a department stores. It has many compartments. I keep my sun glasses, keys, lip gloss, tissues and reusable shopping bags in it all the time. I keep all the receipts in the and take them out monthly or so, so I don't lose receipts. I only switch my large MK wallet from my work bag to this when I'm on the go. The leather is very soft and the purse does not have a structure(does not stand on it own). But I think that's okay given for what I use it. It also has a strap for shoulder, so when I'm on long shopping, I put it on my shoulder. I wish it was longer/adjustable so I could use it as a cross body. It holds lots of things in it. It's not too stylish.

The Tignanello Polished Pocket Convertible bag is made from excellent quality leather and has all the compartments anyone could use. However, the zipper when opened hangs on the zipper teeth and does not work properly when closing. There is a struggle every time I try to zip the purse closed. Therefore, I don't use the purse regularly as I would like. This bag was a gift to me.

I like this satchel overall. Although, the long strap is not long enough to occasionally use it as cross body. (I am about 5 feet 7.) The style (i.e. the zipper opening) is easy to use. The leather is very soft, but here it is! It does stink big time. It has been almost a month (maybe even a little longer) since I received it and it did not change at all. I am not sure if time will help but there are times I feel embarrassed in public thinking people are going to assume it is me! It is a classic, modern looking satchel though.

I bought it in the Cognac color. It was a bit darker than in the photo. The flash on the photo washes out the true color. The metal was a tiny bit darker silver color and not as bright as the photo either. However it's excellent quality. The shoulder strap is too short to wear cross body. The edges of the leather are sealed with a dark brown color I'm not fond of. I'm sending it back since I'm not crazy about the color or the edge color.
