I already had the Better Sweater in the 1/4 zip style and loved it, so I wanted to try out the full zip and I couldn't be happier! Because this jacket is very lightweight, it's hard to believe how much warmth it provides! It's perfect for over a long-sleeve in the winter or over a t-shirt in the spring. Also, if you have a pet this jacket is the best because it does not attract pet hair the way that my North Face Denali jacket does. I am 5'1" and weigh 109 lbs. and ordered an XS. Since my arms aren't very long, the sleeves are about an inch longer than I'd hoped, but it fits perfectly everywhere else, so overall I am happy with the fit.

I bought this sweater in black to wear under my Barbour jacket during a weeklong trip to San Francisco. It was perfect. I have continued to wear it frequently, and often layer it with my winter parka. This combination has kept my toasty, even when the temperature dropped to one degree in New York! Highly recommend.

I ordered the L in this jacket (typically wear a L in Patagonia) and it fits perfectly with a little room so I can wear a l/s shirt or light sweater underneath. I have broader shoulders and a long torso, and the L fit both just fine.

I am in my 60's, and I used to wear Patagonia products all the time, but haven't bought anything new in a number of years. They never wear out! I purchased this lovely jacket and I can't stop wearing it. First off, it is a beautiful color. Secondly, I love the way it fits. The ONLY thing I would mention about this jacket is that I have long arms, and the sleeves are almost too long even for me. It is a gorgeous jacket, light and super warm!

I love this jacket. It is so soft, so flattering and so warm. Sleeves are nice and long so even someone 5'10" with long arms like myself can enjoy warm wrists. I love the look of the heathered color. Fit is slim, so it is flattering. I have worn this jacket every day since I received it in the mail.

I loved this sweater jacket so much that I came back and purchased it in a different color! It is so comfy and well made, I would recommend it to anyone who wants cool-weather warmth.

Perfect, my daughter loved it! It isn't very thick, it is the same as a zippered sweater, so if you are purchasing it for a coat, try another.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She liked it a lot and wears the jacket. Considering how entitled and picky she is, I would call the jacket a total success.

This is a beautiful sweater that I bought for my daughter. I'm returning it because I ordered the wrong size. They were so prompt at getting it to me the first time. I hope it is not a problem to return it for the correct size.

Great mid-weight jacket. I love the slightly longer fit, fitted body, and bright color. This is exactly what I was looking for and I'll wear it all fall and pack on my hiking adventure trip.

This is a fabulous jacket! Soft material and warm. I like the fit as it is fitted and stylish. Just looks great. It has been warm enough on cool mornings in the 40s but I have not yet tried it in cooler weather. I wear an 8 or 10 in shirts and ordered the large. It is just right. I highly recommend it.

I have this sweater in purple. I love the color which is true to the picture, love the softness and warmth of the fabric (think fleece). It is perfect for layering in the winter or as a jacket in the fall. I am getting it in another color, also.

Love this sweater/jacket. Warm, attractive for sports or casual wear. I have a small and it fits well. I usually wear size 6-8.

Color is beautiful. I get comments all the time on how pretty and unusual it is. Jacket is light weight and fitted but very warm. Perfect for layering over a sweater in the fall or early spring.

I own a lot of fleeces, from most of the "major" brands (North Face, Mountain Hardwear, Columbia, etc.). This one is hands down my favorite. It is not necessarily the warmest fleece out there, but it is a good mid-layer when it's frigid out, and perfect on its own when it's a bit warmer (45+, I'd say, depending on the wind). The fit is slim but VERY flattering, I would call it true to size unless you plan on layering super heavily beneath, in which case you may need to size up. The zippered side pockets are warm and generously sized, and though I haven't found a use for the pocket on the sleeve, I'm sure someone would find it handy. The main thing I like about this jacket is the material of it-- a very attractive sweater-like knit on the outside, and your typical warm cozy fleece on the inside. It is definitely NOT windproof, but it does a better job of wind protection than some other fleeces out there. I've read some reviews that complained about pilling, and though I don't doubt it, I'll just say my experience: it hasn't pilled yet, at all, with moderate use over about four months. It's been washed inside out on cold delicate and hang dried, and it looks just as good as the day I bought it. The only negative with this jacket is the price, which I do find a bit steep... I got mine at the ends of its season (so, older color) on heavy discount, and as much as I love it, I probably wouldn't be able to stomach full price. But overall, love this jacket... so much so that when it recently went (briefly) on sale on another site, I bought a second color. That's the first time I've EVER done that for a jacket. Of all the fleeces in my closet, this is the one I find myself wearing time and time again.

I bought this jacket for my fiancee and she loves it. I have a similar men's version of this jacket (same material) and it's warm and cozy while being lightweight.

It was a bit hard to shell out this much for a single piece of clothing, but I am very glad that I did. This jacket instantly became my favorite piece of outerwear, and not a week goes by that I don't wear it 4-5 times. It is surprising warm, yet not bulky. The interior and exterior are both very soft and comfortable to wear. If you can look past the high price tag, you won't regret buying this jacket.

Unfortunately, I'm returning it - too long for me and not as thick as I imagined it (not unlike many other similar items I already own) for the money.

This is a great little sweater! I bought this in lieu of the ever so overdone North Face Denali jacket. It's nice and has a great classic look. I wear it with my down vest for a great casual winter outfit! Fits perfectly too! It's tapered at the waste for a nice feminine detail. Highly recommend!

I love this jacket. It is the perfect weight. I am 5'7", 145lbs and bought the medium. It fits perfect - not too big or small.

It's great! Warm and cozy without bulk. Love the color! I put it through the washer and it kept perfect shape.
