Awesome shoe! looks amazing. FYI Chuck Taylors are about a 1/2 bigger than most, so I figured these would be the same, however these are true to size. So don't go off of Chuck Taylor size. But these shoes are really, really nice and look amazing, plus they have a nice padded insole, so they are a little more comfy.

2nd pair of Jack Purcells I own and each of them are comfortable. Insoles are nice and thick. The leather is a bit stiffer (last pair was canvas) but offer a little more lateral support. These shoes feel a bit tighter as well in the same size. I'm guessing the canvas had more room to expand. In either case great buy and I love the look of the shoes. Plus the smiley face makes these a unique pair of Converses.

My husband loved them. They fit him true to size and they are very classy looking!

These look great and are just as comfortable as the canvas versions. One caveat is that the leather ones seem to run slightly narrower than the canvas versions, so you might want to go up a half-size.

I purchased these easy-on, easy-off shoes for a trip to Japan (where it's customary to remove one's shoes when entering homes, many restaurants, shrines, etc.). They worked great; I was able to easily slip them on and off without sitting or squatting to tie laces. I didn't break them in prior to doing a lot of walking during our two week trip, but experienced no blisters (I did wear them with footie socks, due to the high humidity and heat). I also used them in combination with drugstore shoe inserts to add a bit of arch support. The white rubber, as expected, collected a fair amount of grime and scuffs, but the shoes still look fairly presentable.

I'm on my third pair of these shoes. Not because they wear too quickly but because I walk everywhere and wear them often. They're a great shoe and staple of my wardrobe.

I love the leather style. I received many compliments at work. These are a bit tight, but after couple of wearings they are starting to get comfortable.

This shoe is amazingly comfortable. It's such a great slip on. I bought one pair, and then I bought another because I liked them so much and because of the great price.

Just got these today and love them. I was hesitant to order the 10.5 because I'm usually a straight 10, but they were out of the grey color and I thought that a little extra room couldn't hurt. They're perfect. I have a feeling the 10s would fit, but be snug, so it all worked out. I love the classic American sportwear vibe of these - almost like the Keds from the 60s. I can't wait to dress them into different outfits and styles.

Great shoe. Comfortable immediately out of the box and that says a lot since my feet are notoriously difficult to find comfortable stylish shoes for (due to my feet size and width). Good with jeans, sweats, slacks and for anything on the walk. Will probably get a few more of these, definitely a favorite.

Okay. I've always wanted a pair of Converse without the lace so at first I ordered the Chuck Taylor black one and it's just not right. So I tried Jack Purcell. The smiley face in the front definitely looks very cute and the shape of the shoe is good and makes your feet look cute too. I was a bit worried that the leather like material would be too hot for the summer, but no, they feel just right. You can wear it in summer as well as when it gets colder. One thing to mention though, it is really tight at first on the arch but once it's stretched out, it feel just right and won't get too loose either. It's also good for walking. Love it!

This sneaker was the most comfortable shoe I have ever bought. From the first time I wore it (without socks), it was so comfortable. I have bought it in white too. Highly recommend.

These sneakers are awesome! I haven't stopped wearing them since I got them 3 weeks ago. They are much cooler than the picture and go with everything from jeans to skirts.

This shoes are really cute, convenient and versatile. They are lightweight enough that you can wear them when it's hot but still of cover you up. They do not cut into my feet at all or cause any blistering which is always a concern.

I like the shoe a lot. Wanted the same in off white but was not available in cloth. Did not like the leather white color.

My daughter loves these. She wore them on her DC fieldtrip and unlike many of her friends she was very comfortable. They are stylish, too. Mom wants a pair.

Runs small. Order at least a half size up. The free returns makes getting the right size easy, but might as well try to get it right the first time. Awesome shoes. Would have loved these shoes - if they fit! I wish that Converse could standardize their sizes - some shoes run 1.5 size big, some .5 size too big. Apparently these run true to size, so I am returning and will reorder my true size.

I really like the low profile and slip-on style of this shoe. I think it is much more flattering to the foot and way more stylish than the Converse Chuck Taylor. This shoe looks great with jeans, shorts and casual summer wear. The yellow color is different, but looks great with denim. It is definitely a conversation-starter!

I normally don't like converse because they don't have much arch support, but these are super comfy and cute. The price on Zappos is a very good price. It's being sold for more at Nordstrom. get it here! free shipping and all that good stuff!
