I love the look of these shoes, but they are about a half size to a full size smaller than listed.

I love these boots. They fit well, are comfortable, and I get a ton of comments on them. The zipper in the back has an electric blue trim on it adding a little splash of color. So cute! Luckily I found these in a discount store and got them for a great price!

I got them a half size larger, so they are a little bigger than I usually wear. These boots are so cute, and the colored zipper really adds a little something to the detailing. They look cute with jeans, leggings, skirts, everything. They are so cute. I love them!

Quite honestly, I love these boots. I've read previous reviews and has none of those problems that other people have said. I take care of my shoes well so the minute I got these shoes in the mail (which was fast!) I sprayed water repellent on them. Yeah the bottoms are slick but I just put some adhesive sandpaper on the bottoms that I bought at Walmart. Great boots for the sale price.

I really wanted to keep this boot and the spot on style, great quality for the price, and the fit was great. Except for the calf. There was a good inch all the way around the top of the boot and my leg.While the boots would be cute with jeans, I wanted them to work with skirts/shorts as well. So sadly, back to Zappos they go. Note that I have very narrow (13 inch) calves. If your calves are a little wider, you shouldn't have the problems I did with the fit.

These are way too cool! I have the most ginormous calves (16 inches in diameter) and these boots totally fit. Really exciting. They're sexy as hell with the blue zipper and much easier to put on because of it. Still trying to decide whether I want to go with half a size larger, not quite sure. Bottom is slippery, which is annoying; will have to rough them up!

Excellent boots! The leather is beautiful and soft, and the red zipper adds the right amount of sass. I get lots of compliments every time I wear them out. They’re also very comfortable.

My first pair of flat boots and I can't even begin to describe how it has changed my life. A simple but amazing pair of boots changes everything. I am comfortable and they look terrific. I get compliments all the time on these boots and I wear them at least a few times a week, they go with everything! And the contrasting zipper is a very cool and stylish touch. Buy them, you won't regret it. I am already looking for my next pair of flat boots because of how happy I am with my SM Roady boots.

Just received the brown colour today and they definitely live up to my expectations. Stylish, good quality, and with lots of room to tuck in jeans (not only skinnies, even my straight leg denim fits easily). As other reviewers mentioned, the bottom of the boot is entirely smooth, which I can see being an issue on icy streets or wet floors, but I'm not too concerned as I can always go out and purchase some stick-on grips for next to nothing. Just too bad that this was overlooked on an otherwise well-made boot. Also, most reviews seemed to agree that the boot runs small, however, I checked out the official Steve Madden size chart on their website, ordered the appropriate size, but upon trying them on I think I could have actually gone down a half-size. Check out the size chart before you decide to size up!

I actually bought these boots about a year ago while visiting the Netherlands. They didn't have a 'Steve MAdden' label on them, but they are definitely the exact same boot. I absolutely LOVE these boots. They are so different and I love the blue zipper. I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt in the least. Definitely recommend. I found that they fit pretty true to size, and I had no trouble getting it on.

These boots rock! At first, I had a hard time getting my foot in to the boot opening (I have a wide foot), but they stretched slightly and now they are comfy. I got these in both the black and tan and they go with everything. I love the funky contrasting zipper in the back, I get compliments all the time. Get these!

I LOVE this boot... I have had them a week... I can’t tell you how many people ask me who made the boot and where can they get a pair. They run a 1/2 size smaller... better for a narrow foot... took a few days to break them in... but I now can wear them with no socks... they look exactly like the photo.

These boots are super cute! They are even better looking in person, on real feet! I received compliments the first time I wore them. I’ve worn them 5 times now, and have walked a few miles in them. They are comfy and my feet did really well in them, except for a couple of small things: 1. There’s no arch support so I had to put my own orthotics in. Not a big deal. 2. I have big calves and these are loose on me! That never happens. That would be totally fine with me, except that the boots slouch a bit, which causes the zipper to dig into the backs of my legs, just above my Achilles. I was wearing thick socks and STILL got some vicious blisters. Next time I’ll try some sports tape on my legs in that area. I have no regrets though. I love them!

These boots are wonderful! I am a size 11 and the boots fit perfectly. They break in very well, but I forgot to spray them so the leather faded a little from what they look like in the picture. I’ve never gotten more comments on my shoes than on these! The red stripe makes the boots so unique; they really stand out! Zappos was amazing through this process. I looked for these boots for about two weeks online and no one had my size. I got these boots from Zappos with no tax and free shipping! They came two days later!! I’ve never been more impressed with a company in my life! Enjoy these boots!

The perfect boots! I was hesitant to purchase these boots because of their steep price, but after reading reviews of these shoes and hearing how great they are, I took the plunge---and I'm so glad that I did! These boots are amazing, honestly! They look fantastic and turned out better than I expected them to be! A lot of the reviews said that they run a half size smaller than usual, but I ordered my usual size 6 1/2 and they fit perfectly. The boots are also not completely black--they are more of a charcoal color--which I just love! I also love the blue zipper in the back--a perfect touch to make them a little edgy. I was afraid that since I have small calves that these boots would swallow them up, but they fit my calves perfectly--and with enough room to fit a pair of skinny jeans into. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone. I'm even thinking of ordering these in the cognac color as well!

I was so excited when these boots arrived and then quickly saddened that they were too small. They really don't run true to size and were about 1/2 size too small. Hopefully you'll get my size in soon so I can reorder.

I love these and they are so cute but they are SUPER hard to get on! I'm usually a 7 but ordered the 7 and 7.5, just to be safe. After I wrestled the 7 on, I was pleased with how nice the bed fit my narrow foot. However, they were difficult to pull off, too. The 7.5 went on slightly easier but my foot flopped around in them, which could likely be fixed with an insert. I still haven't decided if I want to just keep the 7.5 or take a chance with the 7 and hope they stretch so they are easier to get on. The shaft is pretty big but will fit nicely over skinny jeans. Be careful, though, because there is zero traction and I almost busted it on the carpet in my house! Even with all the issues, they are still great and I can't wait to wear them out, even if I break my neck getting them on!

If you are in between sizes I absolutely recommend going up to the next size. Roomy shaft- average size calf should be able to wear these over jeans. Very sharp boot for the price. Distressing looks great on the brown.

Good looking, stylish riding boot; however, I wore them for a week and the material didn't hold us as well as I would have liked. Buckle loops came undone, back zipper began to fray, etc. These are not real leather, and it shows. And as previous reviews have mentioned, the boots are extremely difficult to get on because the back zipper does not zip down far enough to get your foot in it easily. Despite this, the actual boot size and width felt true to size, so if you're up to the struggle to get these one over your heel, they should fit okay. All in all, I'm split on this boot. It's much less expensive than the Frye boots I looked at, but you get what you pay for.

I got these boots and I totally love them, except when they get any water on them, that antique look comes off. I went on the website and tried to clean the way they said and the whole boot changed color. I went to exchange them for another pair. Now I have to figure out if I can spray scotch guard on them to seal them. Hopefully this doesn't happen to you because the boots are super cute and comfy!

Great color - unfortunately, they run at least 1/2 size to small. I ordered 7 1/2 (the largest size I wear) & I couldn’t get my foot into it even with the back zipper completely unzipped! I’m going to order an 8 1/2 and see what happens. The only other notes there are is absolutely no traction on the soles & for the price not that great of quality. I’m purchasing them purely based on fashion!

Loved this boot so much. I received it and thought it was such a nice looking boot. However, I could not get it on my foot! They needed to make the zipper on the back go down farther. It stops in an area that makes it very, very hard to get on. I tried for a good 20 minutes. Took a break cause I was exhausted! Came back tried again - pushing and grinding my heel into the back and FINALLY got into it. Then it was too big inside and my heel hurt. What a shame. Sent it back.
