Very lightweight and casually comfortable. Not for running, or exercising. Just a casual kick-around shoe to wear with jeans or other casual pants. I ordered a second pair in another color after wearing the first for a while.

Bought the shoes for comfortable walking, but will return. They are very rigid (don't adjust to your foot shape over time at all - if you get a blister in the beginning, you'll always have them), quite heavy and not well ventilated.

I like the way these shoes look but after wearing them for just 1 day I had bruises on my ankles from where the top of the shoes kept hitting and rubbing. Planning on returning these shortly.

I really wanted to like these, but unfortunately they lack that Patagonia quality. The hemp material is quite stiff (to be expected) and instead of breaking in, it simply tore along the crease lines and at pressure points along the sole. After two weeks. The material on both shoes started to tear after such little use that I cannot trust these will stay together long enough to get my money's worth. It is really disappointing, particularly after owning several Patagonia shoes that have lasted years. I had hoped to add these lookers to my rotation, but they do not live up to the name (or the price).
