Awesome quality shoe and very comfortable. The wide with great fit as well. However, I returned the shoe as I found the sole to be quite slippery and unsafe. I am ordering another SW heel but with a textured or grip sole.

Beautiful shoes. Fit fine at first, then after awhile, they slipped ever so slightly at the heels. Quite sure I didn't need a size smaller, so I put some cushions at the toes, which help.

I tried on an open toe version of Blog in a brick & mortar retail store. They were 1/2 size too small (8 1/2 instead of 9), but I didn't think they were too narrow. I ordered these closed toe Blogs in a 9 M expecting them to be perfect, but unfortunately they were super narrow! :-( As usual, Zappos service ROCKS. I'm returning them and ordering the 9 Wide. Fingers crossed...

Shoe is a lovely basic black asset to any wardrobe, but it runs big. So, I'm exchanging it for a smaller size. Hopefully that one will fit.

Very disappointed. I purchased a pair in a size 8 one year ago. After they stretched out they were too big. I usually wear around a 7.5 or an 8. So this time I ordered the 7.5 and they were way too small. Just looking for "just right."

Love these shoes but I cannot walk in them! I usually do not wear heels but these were so uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I needed them the day they arrived for a black-tie function, otherwise I would have returned them. I love Stuart Weitzman shoes and always get a 9.5 but my feet just slid right down to the toes. I have put in lots of padding to prevent me from sliding and put more around the heel to pick up the slop. I can wear them from the house to the car, sit at an event and shuffle back to the car. I am determined to wear them but very sorry I didn't a lot enough time before I needed them.

Pretty shoe but the fit is not good. I have narrow feet and ordered the narrow width. My feet were still swimming, even in a half size down. Too bad but they just don't fit a narrow foot.

Elegant patent heel which is great for office and after work. Had to return the first pair for a half size smaller. While the smaller size feels snug my foot slips out. Will attempt to solve this with adding pads.

I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 Narrow. I tried these shoes in both sizes and I walked out of the shoes in both the larger and smaller size. I am reluctant to drop down to a 7.5. I have never experienced this problem with Stuart Weitzman shoes before. Too bad because the shoes were perfect for work otherwise, heel not too high and the footbed seemed like it would be comfortable to stand in for long periods of time.

I wanted to love these. I just loved the goose bump napa: so good for day, summer and night and they are COMFORTABLE BUT could NOT remedy the slipping at the heel and if that happens then one walks in a peculiar way and destroys the whole outfit... as it is obvious to all that the shoes are ill fitting. Sadly I had to return and will now settle for chic pump and roller. The BLOG style is so good looking but I have had to reject. Too bad.

Despite giving them only three stars, I've bought these shoes in two colors, black kid and a light tan patent (although I had to buy both elsewhere since, after checking for months, Zappos never had them in my size). Why only three stars? In both pairs the leather is rather stiff, although that may improve with wear. They're not as smooth inside as you'd expect for shoes in this price range. Especially in the black pair, the very tiny stitching around the topline seems to rub at the middle of my foot. It will probably manageable by wearing stockings or using an antichafing stick like Bodyglide (great stuff for shoes that rub, by the way). Also, the shoe runs narrow and slightly long. I normally take a 6.5C, but in this one even the C width feels pretty narrow in the forefoot. If you have really wide feet, this shoe is not for you. I have one pair in a 7C (since going up half a size seems to help me with narrow shoes) and one in my usual 6.5C, and both slip in the heel, have extra length in the toe, and show toe cleavage when my foot is placed in the back of the shoe. In the 6.5C the slipping will probably me manageable with heel inserts. And there's basically no arch support or cushioning. So these shoes will need an arch insert and Footpetals for cushioning. The sole is slick as ice, so I'll have to see if my shoemaker can add something for grip. So if I have so many complaints, why did I go to such trouble to get them, and buy two pairs? Because they beat the alternatives. Shoe manufacturers, listen up: a high heel is harder on the foot in a size 6.5 than in a 9 because it forces the shorter foot to stand at a steeper angle. This shoe, thankfully, combines a moderate platform and not-too-high heel so I'm not painfully standing on extreme tiptoe. That's difficult to find in other shoes. And it's a very good-looking shoe, unlike the matronly look of most "comfort" pumps with shorter heels. But it is infuriating that shoes this costly require so many modifications to fix problems they shouldn't have in the first place. Shouldn't all shoes, especially ones that cost over my budget, already have arch supports and cushioning inside? Shouldn't the insides be smooth and seamless? Shouldn't they have soles that you can actually walk in without sliding?

This shoe runs true to size in my opinion. I ordered 1/2 size larger based on other reviews, but it didn't work for me. The main problem is though that the leather is very hard, I expected better quality from this brand.

Really narrow in the toe box. I put it on and immediately took it off...and I did ultimately buy a Stuart Weitzman pump but not this one!

Stuart Weitzman (their other shoes); and Cole Haan (if you don't have a really narrow heel).

I wanted to love this shoe so badly, but the construction was awful. I bought this originally in an 11 but the toe box was so narrow I went up to an 11.5. Then the pair that I received looked very cheap - the leather was wrinkled and not tight against the upper, and they have to be the most slippery shoes I've ever tried. I love the way they look in the pictures, but it was a fail in person. So sad.

These are beautiful shoes with a comfortable heel height -- just what I was looking for. BUT, they are cut long and narrow. I wear an 8M, my size rarely varies except for sandals. When I took them out of the box I thought I was looking at an 8.5 N and that's how they felt when I tried them on. I may reorder a 7.5 C maybe that would work. Disappointing.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement, but it's not like I wasn't warned! I have this shoe in a camel color that I bought two years ago and I love it. I always get compliments when I am wearing them and it is one of the few heels I can wear. I have really problem feet, so when I saw that the black was available in 7.5W I ordered them.
Unfortunately, I can't even get the shoe on which seems ridiculous since I have this shoe in the same size and same width. Stuart Weitzman is too expensive to have such poor quality control. Waa, they have to go back.

The shoes felt longer than a 9M and also felt narrower, resulting in an unattractive profile (the "water ski" effect). The toe of the right shoe was dented and would not "pop" out. Disappointed in this shoe's quality and styling so back it went. I have many pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes that I dearly love, but this one is a great big miss.

I love Stuart Weitzman shoes - they are my go to for work. These, while beautiful, are a disappointment. I ordered my normal Stuart size and they were too narrow. I returned and ordered a pair in wide (thanks to Zappos easy return process and quick shipping!), but just shipped them back, too. The front was better, but the heel was too wide. Oh well...I really need patent leather pumps in this heel height, but Stuart will not work this time.

This shoe is lovely, but I have never been able to wear it. I have put it on and tried to make it work with every conceivable pad, tape, support known to man...and I can't make it more than 5 steps without walking right out of the heel. Smaller size would not work....this shoe design is intrinsically flawed and I feel ripped off by this maker as a result. I would never buy a shoe from them again. They sit in my closet and I am sick every time I see them. Buy another shoe...really.

Had I kept this shoe, it would have been my second pair of Stuart Weitzman Blogs. I have a pair in camel leather that I purchased 3(?) years ago. I love those shoes more than I can say and was waiting to get a pair of black leather. I finally got the shoe in the exact same size as my camel Blogs. When I received the shoe from Zappos, I was so disappointed. Not only did they kill my foot (remember same exact size, 7.5W), they just were not the same quality as my first pair, not even close. The leather was so stiff and of course the size made it impossible to keep.

I ordered the Black Crystal Snake in an 8N and traditionally wear a 7.5N or 8N (occasionally 8AAA).
This is a visually beautiful shoe, and the first of a huge number I have tried recently that actually fit my foot perfectly right out of the box. I had even talked myself into the price. So it breaks my heart to have to return it, but return it I must.
I am sorry to have to report that the materials in the pair of shoes received were NOT what is described in the text and were in general appalling for the price category of the shoes.
Text proclaims: brushed leather sole, leather lining and implies that the "snakeskin" is a stamped leather. The sole may be in fact be leather, but it is not brushed but painted over -- which may lengthen life but kills the ability to grip the ground.
The "snakeskin" is beautiful but somehow feels like plastic, but I think I could have gotten past that. But the "leather" lining --- well.... the heel counter is some sort of fibrous synthetic material/paper product and certainly not leather of any kind.
The vamp lining and insole appear to be ultrasuede. Without cutting a section out and subjecting it to a burn test, I cannot be certain, but the material certainly does not react to a gentle scratch with the nail or rub with the finger as suede would. Furthermore the interior smells faintly of mildew and something else -- chemical? urea?
The ultrasuede notion is NOT far-fetched as I did find another S. Weitzman shoe description (Puffystuff) which stated that it did have an "ultrasuede lining for ultimate comfort," the ultimate comfort being for the stock holders I presume, as neither the heel contour material or the ultrasuede is going to breathe or release moisture or odors.
To re-enforce the comment on releasing odor, my one other pair of S. Weitzman shoes from about 4 years ago -- which also fit like a glove and cost the mint -- retained foot odor after one short wearing -- that with clean feet in clean hose and a short wearing. I notice a comment here by another Zappos customer mentions this same problem.
Ultrasuede lining in the rest of the interior would only exacerbate the problem.
For the prices S. Weitzman charges, why would he not use genuine suede counter lining and genuine suede, pigskin or leather insoles and vamp lining?
Personally, if I am going to gulp and pay this much for a classic pump that fits and is well designed, I would prefer to go on up a little extra and have high quality leathers throughout.
As it is, I find myself very saddened by having to return a visually beautiful shoe that actually fits like a glove. Phooey.
