This is a great shoe! I can walk in these all day long and still feel comfortable. They look good with jeans too...

I'm a big fan of Keen but this is not my favorite model. First, I had to break them in - something I had never had to do with any other Keen shoes. It took me just a couple of hikes to do so but there was blood and suffering and I did not like it a bit. Second, in a month of wearing them one of the shoes suddenly and for no apparent reason started to make a weird loud squeaky noise with every step I take. I have examined the shoe very carefully several times but found no visible changes/defects in it. The sound never went away and is really bothersome and loud on some surfaces. Other than that - they are Keen, ie extremely comfortable and very cute.

Not a first pair of Keens that I bought, but this time I am disappointed. After week or so of wearing shoes became terribly squeaky. Annoying to degree that can't wear to work anymore.

I don't mind shoes that look like hiking boots and I really value comfort. But I have to admit that when I opened the box and my kids yelled "those shoes are so ugly," that I had second thoughts about these. The toes are very broad and the word "clunky" comes to mind. I'd like to believe they look sort of hip, but given my demographic (I do have kids, you know) you likely shouldn't trust my judgement. I wore them around the house for two days before I decided to keep them, but in the end I'm very happy that I did. I went on a trip that required lots of walking and I would not have managed without these wonderfully comfy shoes. So if you favor functionality over your kids' opinion of your style, these are the shoes for you.

I really wanted to love these shoes as they are cute walker/hiking shoe with good arch support. I have really difficult feet and I found these to be a bit too short. I knew without wearing them long they were going to hurt the top of my big toe but at the same time were to wide in the toe area. I need more toe depth not width. I'm pretty sure if I went up a size it would just have made the toe width problem worse and still hurt the top of my big toe. Because I have a high toe and need a high toe box and can't wear bulky socks that would have helped take up the extra room in the width. Other than that they felt like a very comfy shoe with good arch support. I was very disappointed they didn't work. I have tried Keen's in the past and have also experienced this problem with the toe area before. I was hoping this style would work. I've had sandals I liked, but their closed shoes aren't for me.

I usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10 and bought these in a 10. Keen shoes seem to run small in general. The insole was very supportive but they were too tight and I had to return. May try a half size larger.

Love these. Took them for a steep hike over rocky terrain yesterday and they were super supportive and comfortable.

I have heel spurs in both feet. My feet hurt pretty much most of the time. I bought these shoes thinking this would help my feet. So far they have not. Also, I had to wear a Bandaid on my heel for the first week or so. This shoe rubbed my heal the wrong way. I also read another review about this same thing happening to someone else. I was hoping that this shoe had really good cushioning... It's OK, but apparently not good enough for my feet.

I wanted some comfortable, water resistant shoes for walking around in Europe, and after doing a lot of research decided on these shoes. I usually wear a size 9 in dress shoes and size 10 in running shoes, and for these shoes a 9 1/2 fit me perfectly. They are not the cutest shoes in the world but they were extremely comfortable right from the start, except for one thing; they were a little too high in the back and rubbed the backs of my ankles. I solved the problem by wearing a heel lift and taller socks. I walked 4-6 miles a day in Europe for 2 weeks and didn't have any other problems! The inserts that came in the shoes were very comfortable and had great arch support (almost as good as my custom orthotics) but I opted to wear my orthotics because of my foot issues. The best thing about these shoes was that they were wide enough for my very wide feet. Overall, I was very happy with this purchase!

This shoe is very comfortable right out of the box. It is good if you need extra padding at the ball of your foot. I am getting older and my feet hurt there sometimes. I think they are cute, true to size... nice room for my toes. One thing I do notice though is that my feet are very warm in them. I have really hot feet anyway and I feel like my feet are warmer than they should be... thought they were all leather so... not sure what the deal is.

I liked the looks of the shoe and it felt very stable for my over pronating foot. I am returning the shoe, however, because it does not provide enough support for my thin ankles.

These shoes are hideously ugly. They are comfortable for work in a hospital with all day standing and walking, and that is why I'm keeping them.

I really like these shoes. My old Keen sandals finally wore out after 5 years, so I looked for another pair of Keen's. These are very supportive of my ankle that I had surgery on and they are stylish enough for a casual pair of black pants or jeans. Very comfy.

My Presidio shoes came very promptly, and fit great. I love them. Only one problem is that the collar around the ankle in the left shoe seems to be more rigid--but I think it will soften up with wear. I got a half size larger than I usually buy, relying on others' reviews, and that worked out well for me.

I ordered these in a size seven - I loved them but they keep slipping on my heel (I have only warn around the house). I think I might return and try a 6.5 but fear my toes will be rubbing. My toe feels right in the sevens. Anybody else have this problem - fits every which way but heel slipping??

I have a pair of Keen size 10 for hiking that I love so when I was thinking of getting working shoes I went with Keen. I ordered this shoe in size 10. As soon as I took them out of the box, I knew they will not fit. This shoe was both tight and small on me. I have very difficult feet, wide, high arch and high instep and have to buy shoes in W or WW and even then there isn’t enough room for my toes. I need a lot of room for my toes and Keens have it. I had to return them and exchange them for a size bigger. I got them today and they fit me just right. I don’t even have to take the inserts out. I wish Keen would make their shoes in wide. Zappos is fast and easy to shop from. There is never problem with returning or exchanging product.

While these shoes may appear a bit geeky, they are very comfortable and waterproof. I could wear them all day.

These are great shoes! I wear them almost everyday to work. The size is perfect. The only issue was the tongue of the shoe was a very hard leather. Until they break in, they hurt my ankles and tops of my feet. Now they are great!

I\'ve worn these shoes consistently since receiving them. They are very comfortable and quite cute though a bit clunky looking. They seem to be very well made and I found them to be true to size though a little wide which works well for me. I will definitely consider buying other shoes of this brand.

Shoes are comfortable and fit true to size. Arch support is noticeable (but not as noticeable as a pair of Chaco's), feels good, and is comfortable. Make sure that you look at all picture views of this shoe because the toe is asymmetrical, which isn't completely noticeable from the main view.

I\'ve been wearing these at least 3 or 4 times a week since I received them. They are cute (but a little clunky), comfortable and very practical. I\'ve received many compliments on them. \r\n\r\nI ordered my regular size and they are a good fit but my feet tend to be a little wide and short so the suggestion to order a 1/2 size larger might make sense for most folks. \r\n\r\nI will definitely purchase another pair of Keens in the future based on my experience with these.

True to fit, nice wide toe box, really cute. \r\nThey rubbed all of the skin off my heels (ouch) the first time I walked 2 miles in them but they aren\'t bothering me now. I am giving them 3 stars for comfort because of this.

The shoe is, like most Keen shoes, good for those of us with wide, flat feet. I don't think the sole and mid-sole are as strong or as supportive as my first pair of Keens, the Newport. However, aside from a little blistering at the heel from my first few times wearing them, they are comfortable. And I walked a lot in their first week in my life--all over Berlin, Germany, on vacation. I like the lace-up style. It allows for a customizable fit. One big complaint: the stitching is already coming out along the lace area. I may have to send them back and request a new pair. I wish Keen would be more careful in their manufacturing process.

Keen Presidio - I would give these shoe 5 stars, but there is always room for improvement! For me, Keen's are a sure fit. Good instep support and roomy toe space. I have the brown ones, and this black is nice because it doesn't look quite so much like a hiking boot. LOVE EM!

Good quality shoe, needs breaking in - This was my first pair of Keen shoes. I ordered a half-size up after reading reviews here. The 6.5 is a little big on my foot with thin socks, but the 6 probably would have been too small for thick socks. It's made of good quality leather and is designed to be a sturdy shoe. Because of this, the leather is a little stiff at first and definitely needs to be broken in for a few weeks. I got blisters on my heels the first time, but a little moleskin solved the problem. The insole has a weird toe grab bar thing that also gave me a blister on first wearing. Overall this is a great sturdy shoe. It also seems to be well balanced, supporting the whole foot including the arches. Looks-wise they're not adorable, but cute in a utilitarian way. They look pretty much like I expected them to from the pictures. Bottom line - if you want a work horse of a shoe that takes a while to break in, this is your shoe.
