Except for the rather painful break-in period, these shoes have been a dream. I'm on my feet in a kitchen 8-12 hours a day and running around after my child the rest of the time, so I needed a sturdy, comfortable shoe. These are awesome! Definitely order a half size up and be prepared for raw heels for the first week or so. It's completely worth it though - nothing that some cushy socks and a bandaid or two can't solve! The long term relief from aching feet and lower back is worth the small price of a blister.

It's now 7/2011 bought these in 11/2010. The leather is holding up. The only problems with this shoe is the arch support not much at all. I had to buy arch inserts. Also the stitching on the bottom side is off so it looks really bad now. Now I wear them as my get dirty shoes. I have seen this in other Keen shoes, so must be something with the manufacturing. Also with all Keen shoes they run small so get a size bigger.

I am happy I bought them. They fit well are comfy and look good. I just wish they were made in the US.

Many reviews stated that these run small and they are correct! Order half size up.

Nice comfortable shoe. Keen shoes seem to run a little small, I ordered a half size up and because both feet are not exactly the same size, one shoe fits perfectly, the other is very slightly big not not enough to be an issue. I did find these shoes have a small break in period, the top of the heel is a little stiff but with wear, the shoes continues to soften.

Ugh. I love Keen, but wish they could get their sizing sorted out. I normally wear a 10.5 or 11 in casual shoes. Keen's tend to run a half to a full size smaller. I can get by with a Keen 11 in sandals, but the closed shoes/boots never worked for me until they offered the Presidio in a 12.
Very comfortable, I forget I'm wearing them. They got kind of ratty quickly, and I wouldn't expect them to last very long considering how worn they are even with infrequent wearing, but they are comfortable enough that I'd put up with the durability issues if I could find more Keen style that fit me.
Come on, Keen, if you're going to make your shoes a half size or a size small, at least offer them in a size up to compensate!

I've purchased Keen sandals in size 9 and 8.5 before. I got these in a size 9 and fit well with socks. They have a good fit, are comfortable all day, and I get compliments on them. The only drawback is the weight. After a day of walking around in them, my shins are hurting, my arches are fine, but my shins ache.

I LOVE this shoe--very comfortable.
I ordered a half size up because of other reviews, and the fit is perfect for me. The stitching across the toe area makes my feet look smaller (a plus with my size 10).
I have one big gripe--when charging this much for a pair of shoes, why can't they provide shoe laces the right size?? These are at least 10" longer than needed and I had to double tie them or step on them all day long. I just bought shorter ones but the color isn't the same. For that reason, I give these 4 stars overall--otherwise a 5 star shoe.

The fit and comfort were great. But the style was too much like a sneaker. I ordered madder brown and didn't realize from the picture that there was a grey band just above the sole. I returned them for the Toyah style and am very happy with those.

I purchased these as an alternative to the new Briggs II (which I returned because they were hideous and uncomfortable). Like my original Briggs, these were immediately comfortable and equally stylish.

Based on other reviews, I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear. These shoes rubbed uncomfortably on my ankles, but I don\'t know that the foot bed was the right size or too big. Returning these, but haven\'t decided if I\'ll try my normal size or something else altogether.

I ordered the walnut and I really like the contrasting pink stitching. The only downside is the "blockiness" of the toe, but I suppose this is characteristic of most Keen footwear. I own another pair of Keens that aren't as blocky and was expecting these to be similar to the ones I own. As long as my pants have a wide opening, they look fine. I would recommend them.

As with other Keens, sometimes ones regular size fits, other times it is necessary to go up a half size for length. This is one of those requiring one to size up. At first, I was a little disappointed because the shoe had so many rave reviews. I found the tongue too long and hitting my ankle uncomfortably. But I could tell that otherwise, the shoe fit perfectly. So the first few times I wore them, I wore them laced down one set of holes to ease the tongue's pressure on my ankle. Now, after just a few wearings, I'm able to lace them up fully and they are super comfortable. I have a wide foot and they give me plenty of wiggle room, but I would guess that if your foot is narrow you might be swimming in these. If you are willing to give them just a little bit of a break-in, you won't be disappointed. Just don't be surprised if they aren't "out of the box comfortable."

Just got these. I ordered a half size up and they fit very well. The arch support is excellent, which for me is really saying something. I have a couple of minor complaints: the toe box isn't quite high enough for me, and they're a little stiff. I just got them and it does seem like they'll soften up over time though. Overall it's a cute, comfortable shoe. I don't know why they call it Madder Brown -- it's red! Luckily red is what I wanted, but if you're looking for a brown shoe, this isn't it.

Great shoe: Nice arch support and attractive styling. It feels a little short--I\'m not sure I\'d say half a size smaller, but I\'d love an extra smidgen at the top of my toes.

Better than the Toyah, but the size is inconsistent between colors. I have been looking for a "go to" shoe for fall/winter. I have very hard to fit feet and really needed something that is comfortable, supportive and durable. These seem to fit the bill. I also ordered the Toyah, because I liked the colors and style a little better, but they did not fit nearly as well and these are much more comfortable and cushioned. The sizes are inconsistent though. I ordered black and walnut in the same size (8), the black is slightly smaller than the walnut. I also tried the 7.5...8 is a bit big, 7.5 is a bit small. I am keeping the 8 and will just wear thicker socks with these. I am thinking about ordering the madder brown, and am wondering how those will size.

Very attractive and overall comfortable shoes. Seem to run 1/2 a size small. Only problem is, if you have heels that tend to get blisters, these will do it to you and need some breaking in.

I love my Keen Genoa Peak, but I was looking for another walking shoe with a little more style and that looked less like a hiking shoe, so I bought these. Unfortunately, they did not work on any level with my skinny feet. The fit on Keens can vary-- and this is much more for a wide foot.

These are cute - I love the red-brown color. But they are far from being the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I was convinced to buy them after reading another review that said they were completely flexible... this is not quite the case. They can be bent in half at the toe line, but the rest of the sole is quite inflexible. I like them because they are cute, are they are decently comfortable, but nothing exceptional in that regard.

I wanted to love these shoes. I have looked for weeks for the perfect shoes to wear to Italy. But alas these are not for me. I must have a high arch because the top of the shoe rubbed at the top of my foot. They are a nice style tho\' and very solid feeling.

These shoes are very comfortable. I bought them for walking around Europe and they do not disappoint. I was worried they would look a little clown like with the wider toe box but they look fine.

I LOVE these shoes. Just the look I like. Rugged. Outdoorsy. Today. Not sneakers. Not hiking shoes. I love tie shoes! The light red stitching is way cool. I’m a tad concerned that when it comes time to put some polish on them, the stitching will change color so that’s the ONLY bummer. Pretty comfy right out of the box. Thanks Zappos for making shoe-buying a whole lot nicer than store drudgery!

Love Keens, but these ran a bit too small for me. I am normally a womens size 11, and my next pair will be a 12. Had to losen the laces so the heel didn\'t rub my skin raw, but now they work fine. Not as much of a grip on the bottom as my Genoas, but they help keep snow out.
