Comfy and cute! But I expected "slate black" to be charcoal grey -- no question about it, this is brown. Which is fine, but just beware.

I have had these Newport Keens for the past 4 years. My husband, father and step mom all bought the same style shoe for a trip to Thailand. Since then I have rode elephants, trekked through jungles, gotten very wet in rivers and oceans, rode on boats, went mountain biking and climbed orchards to pick fruit in these shoes. I have nothing bad to say about them. The quality is amazing, and my shoes have kept up their shape. The backs of the shoes can fold flat for a quick slip on to use the loo in a foreign country. This is the shoe for travel. I highly recommend them. Mine are in Red, size 8 and fit perfectly on my wide half Asian feet!

Keens are fabulous. The Newports are the best of the best. These shoes are like walking on air. I have two pair now so I can color coordinate them with just about everything I own so I can wear them all the time if I want.

Traded Keen Mystic for Newport H2 and am much happier without Mystics side buckle. Great fit, really comfortable and very orange. Looking forward to summer in my Keens. And we all know, Zappos provides topnotch service.

Love these. The traction is great, I walk confidently in wet conditions, on gravel roads etc. I highly recommend these sandals!

These shoes are fantastic. I have a painful bunion that needs support and cushion and these shoes provide that without orthotics. I highly recommended these sandals. Worth every penny and will last years.

These are my first pair of Keens, and I love them. They are extremely comfortable and perfect for water activities, plus they look nice enough and dry quickly enough for post-beach restaurant trips. They are very easy to wash in a washer. The color is exactly the shade of orange I was hoping for.

Awesome summer shoe! So easy to slip on. I wear them all the time, even at the gym! I haven't washed them yet; supposedly they're washer safe, I think, so I will have to try sometime. I love the shoe and Zappos, of course! I've bought more shoes from them than I could count. I'm going to give Zappos my firstborn child.

I love these sandals! They're good for every thing casual. Protective of the toes, support the foot like a well built cross trainer and immediately comfortable. The elastic lacing system allows for fitting them to your specific foot. They do run about a half size short so I ordered them 1/2 size bigger than I normally wear and they are perfect.

Great shoes! I was pleased to see that slate black is actually a chocolate brown. The color and fit are great. True to size. I did not go up a 1/2 size like some people have suggested. Zappos was great and shipping was so fast!

Love these shoes! I have flat feet and need good arch support and these shoes have it; I am very active chasing 4 kids around and these shoes are great. They can go in the water, slip on easily and look cool. Would love to get a few more pairs in different colors! Love my Keen shoes!

Great shoe. Very comfortable. I wish it came in more colors. I bought these for the summer to run around in. I bought them after I got my daughter a pair. She's 2 1/2 and loves hers.

I bought these because flip-flops and other open-backed sandals were causing me arch pain. I wanted a cute sandal that could hold up to day hikes, long walks, running around town, etc. without causing me foot pain. The Keen Newport H2's are a complete dream!! They are stylish, rugged, comfortable -- I have been raving about these to anyone who will listen. My kids and hubby have these, too. We all wore them for three days in Disney World and not a blister, pain or complaint among us. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!

I love these shoes! I do a walk/jog everyday and these are my go to shoes. They are so comfortable with great traction. I also hike in them. I own several pair and highly recommend them. I love my Keens!

I bought a pair for myself and one for my girlfriend. We are both very happy with them. They are true to size and fit like a glove. It's nice to be able to wear shoes during the summer that feel like sandals but act like hiking boots. Huge thumbs up from both of us!

These are great sandals! My first experience with Keens and it's been a good one. I usually have trouble finding shoes for my wide feet, but these fit right out of the box. After reading reviews, I ordered a half-size larger and they were great.

Got these for a trip to Taiwan and Japan. Have been wearing them daily, doing a lot of walking around. Soles are very well cushioned for walking. It's cold in Osaka today so I have socks on with them. I find they are even more comfortable with thin socks. The beet/wine color combination is remarkably neutral. I tend to go consistently for black, and I'm glad I decided on this color.

I bought these sandals when Keen first came out with them and they've lasted a long time. I use them mainly for kayaking. They have good support and are comfortable to walk in. I usually take anywhere from 8.5 to 10 depending on the shoe and style. In this case, 10 works out fine as I can tighten the straps for a more snug fit. Keen and Zappos. What a combo!

I bought Keen on the recommendation of my mom who got her recommendation from her chiropractor. These sandals were by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn. There was no break-in period. I have a problem with heel pain, that was gone. I took them to Florida the week after I bought them and wore nothing else for a week. I just ordered another pair in a different style. I could see wearing nothing but Keen for the rest of my life. Oh, and Zappos is the best online vendor I've worked with to date.

I owned a pair of these 4 or 5 years ago and it seems that they have redesigned them a bit because these feel and look a lot less bulky. They are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own. I love Keens! I’m normally a size 9.5 and bought a size 10 and they fit perfectly.

A friend who lives in the United States sent me one with a note that says, for the woman who seeks adventure. I thought of me the minute she saw the Keen collection. It is good protection for my broken toe. They are great comfort is tantamount to style. Seawater does no harm to my Keen. Thought I had the ideal shoe when I purchased a Timberland hiker. I didn't discover Keen as yet. Wish I could buy all the styles and colors. Awesome footwear. Thank you Keen.
