The fit is great. I have learned to order a 1/2 size larger in Keen. The color? Not so much to my liking. It's brighter than I imagined. As I ordered another pair in a different color, this pair will be returned.

I have another pair of Keen Newport in size 10 that fit perfectly (about a year old). I finally had to order these in a size 11 and they are the same size as my old size 10 Keen\'s. As always, the customer service provided by Zappos was supreme!

Make my feet sweat. Otherwise these babies get a 10/10. We love these shoes, great support, protected toe, perfect to run around the park with the kids, grocery shop, run errands around town. Nice wide foot bed. I purchased some leather foot beds to avoid the sweat these shoes would create with my foot, but they lasted only a few days and I ended up tossing the soles. It seems like after you wear these shoes a few weeks, the sweaty foot goes down.

I love these shoes! I wear them in the river, hiking and around town. They run a bit small, I had to order 1/2 size larger than I usually wear. Very comfortable and slip-proof.

Love the color, love the construction, love the comfort. One problem, after 2 weeks I had to scrub these shoes and launder them in the washing machine to get rid of the odor. They get so stinky! My feet got hot in them, but my workout sneakers never develop and odor like this. If must be my chemistry as I've noticed no other comments like this.

These shoes live up to the quality and fit that I have come to expect from Keen shoes. As usual I ordered a half size up from my normal size. My first pair of these was plum/goldenrod. I liked that color better because the toe and sole are black but couldn't get a replacement in my size. Don't care so much for the gray sole and toe in the beet red/port royale version.

I’ve had a pair of these for several years and really loved them, though ultimately they have some downsides and I’m currently in the market for something that can better suit my needs. Pros: Fit tight enough with the back strap and laces that there’s no slipping. Toe box is nice and roomy. I’ve worn them hiking lots and never got a blister. They’re great for wet trails, sloshing through riverbeds, etc. and the water goes right through. Traction is very good. Cons: When walking in sand, the toe of the shoe fills up with sand and I have to keep taking them off and emptying them. The material under the foot gets very slick and sweaty. The arch support is terrible, which is the main reason I need to find something else. I’m having trouble with pronation following a knee injury and these shoes only give a little more arch support than flip-flops. Overall if you want a versatile water sandal and don’t need much arch support, these are fabulous.

Whilst this says that they are black, mine came and were dark brown and blue. Not a big deal, but definitely not black. Other than that, they are comfy after breaking them in a bit, and I love them!

I bought these for my late summer trip to Italy. I walked all over Venice, Rome and Florence, including the steps of the Duomo, without my feet complaining. Nary a blister, bunion or corn. I felt the sandals were comfortable with and without socks.

The color, Topaz, is a bright orange. I love it! I had purchased this shoe before in my usual size, 11, but noticed that it was probably a half size too big. It kept rubbing on my smallest toenail. So I ordered it in a size 10 1/2. It's better, I probably should have ordered this in a 10. So I guess the other reviewers are right...you really have to be patient trying to find out what your "Keen size" is. It has taken some getting used to since I've been in flip flops for the majority of the summer, but I plan to take these on a trip where I'll be doing a lot of walking. I have purchased these shoes for my daughter for a few years now because of the closed toe, the back strap, flexibility and the grip on the sole so that she can wear these to school and be cool and comfortable and run during P.E. and they are her favorite shoe. They are also the perfect beach shoes. My husband and she can wear them in the surf and then I can bring them home and throw them in the wash. They are extremely durable.

Shoes were shipped immediately - great service from Zappos! These sandals are very comfortable, very stable. The only objection is the plastic toggle on top that adjusts the elastic, when kneeling on the ground gardening for instance, and the top of your foot is on the ground, the plastic toggle presses into the foot and is uncomfortable. Other than that, great sandal.

Very Comfortable - I wear a women’s size 11 and have tried several pairs of Keens only to be disappointed with the sizing--they run really short and a little wide. These are tolerable. They probably could be a little longer for my foot; perhaps because the fact that they are sandals helps. Otherwise, this shoe is very comfortable, machine washable; I could wear them every day.

Comfy Keens - This is my 2nd pair of Keens and the color purple is very attractive. My 1st pair is a different style, but for both pairs, the comfort and style are great. The extra half size is a better fit for me then my normal size.

Nice--but hurts my little toes - I like these shoes. My mom has a pair that I tried on and they felt so GREAT! Then I got these. They feel ok for short times. Then my little toes start to hurt. The webbing strap cuts into the end of my toe. My conclusion is that these straps need to be a little wider by the little toe area or my toes need to be longer. I love the way they look though!

These were comfortable right out of the box. They are my first, but not last pair of Keens. I have had several people ask me about them and give compliments. Good product! But, they did make my feet smell funny the first week I wore them.

These shoes are better for water sports and not walking around all day in. My pinkie toe gets blisters between the first and second strap support. Other thing that I love about them in the water, they don't get all smelly from the water when they dry. Check the Keen Venice. I like them much better.

Feel a little too small - Both my husband and child have a pair and love them so I thought I would too. They are a little hard to get on and feel about a half size too small. They are not as comfortable as my husband claims but hopefully with a little wear they will become so.

Ugly as sin, comfy as heck - These are incredibly comfortable, awesome for wearing for any activity, and easy to throw in the washer. They are way too ugly and casual for me to wear to work, but I love them for any summer athletic activity, for gardening, etc.

Keen is Keen! I bought these shoes from the reviews. I did order a 1/2 size larger and they fit great. I have a knee replacement and work as a part time waitress, so I need a shoe that gives me support and has a closed toe. These are very nice and work well. I do find the Chaco sole more comfortable over time and their arch support is better for a high arch. I am on my feet 6-7 hours without a break, so that comfort is critical. These begin to be a little uncomfortable after about 6 hours. My only real complaint is that you have to take the shoe off to get anything out of it that has worked its way in. All in all a great shoe! I love the green!

Pretty good so far - I was a little nervous that the shoe would feel clunky or that it would pinch my wide feet and stubby toes. But it's turned out to be just fine, and it's great for walking.

Comfortable, but bright - The shoe fits true to size and is extremely comfortable with solid stability. The only negative thing was that I ordered what looked more like khaki on the web and was actually somewhat kiwi. I will make them work because they are so comfortable.

They're still rather ugly, but I love 'em - I took the review advice and ordered a half size larger, and they fit perfectly. They are wonderfully comfortable, to the point that I can actually ignore that ugly toe cap. I used to tease my son for wearing his Keens all the time, but now I know why, so no more teasing from Mom.

Good shoe that needs perfected - I've bought and tried quite a few different shoes meant for water and rough terrain and the Keen Newports are the best I've worn. The toe protection is superior and the wrap around style keeps most rocks and debris out. Also amazing is the material for the soles. They grip extremely well, on sandstone I felt very secure. Also a plus, I have lower back problems and require solid arch and overall foot support. While wearing these shoes I never felt the tell-tale shooting pain of a shoe that's not supporting me. But I think the shoe could still stand to be perfected. Despite trying different sizes I never felt I had a "perfect" fit. Half-size larger was still too small and the ridges inside the shoe hit all the wrong places. The full size larger was a little too big, but it's ultimately what I chose. The slightly too-big fit meant that the strap rubbed my ankle after wearing for a solid 3 hours few hours, but never blistered. And my feet "floated" around a bit within the shoe. I'd like to see this shoe in various widths to allow for a better fit. Also, the shoes leave black stains on my feet from the dye. I thought this would go away after a couple of uses, but after 7 uses in water, still experiencing the same issue. But with that said, these are by far the best water shoe I've worn, comparing with Merrell, Salomon and Columbia brands.

Keen Newport H2 - I was in need of a good, rugged, outdoor sandal and was directed by friends to Chaco’s and Keens. Tried on a couple styles of both brands and found Keen's Newport H2 insanely comfortable as soon as I slipped them on. I wear them anytime I'm outside, and have found them to be a great option for streetwear when it rains as they have good traction. I chose the Kiwi, and the color has yet to dull with dirt. It may not be the most attractive shoe, but the comfort counts here.
