Great without the closed toe - I own the version of this shoe that has an open toe. I wish Keen made more of their shoes with an open toe option - I own a vacation home on the beach and spend hours and hours in the sand and water in these shoes. Without the closed toe, they are the best pair of beach and water shoes I've ever owned. As someone who spends so much time in the sand and water, I prefer to have the open toe so wet sand, small rocks, etc. can flow out of the shoe rather than being trapped behind the closed toe. When I first bought them, they had a strange smell after they got wet. It went away after a while because I wore them so much, but it had a sort of "wet shoe glue" smell. Otherwise, these shoes look fantastic and fit great, but more arch support would be nice.

Awesome - This is my 2nd pair of Keen Newport H2s. I love the way they look and fit. The arch support is wonderful. They go anywhere, I wear them on the beach and into the ocean, and biking. They are great shoes.

Bought 1/2 size larger than usual. Perfect fit. Wore them for 7 days in a row immediately after purchasing and on my feet almost all day each day cleaning. There was very slight irritation at first where the fabric band meets the sole at the outer edge below the "pinky" toe. But not enough to require removal of the shoes or any bandage devices. Tossed them in the shower with me to clean! Great shoe. As always, speedy delivery from Zappos.

Keen Newport H2s - a great packing choice! I took a pair of Keen Newport H2s on a 4-wk trip to the British Isles and was not disappointed. They were great for all walking on all kinds of surfaces - wet and dry. I took along a pair of wool socks which effectively shed light rain. My feet stayed dry enough to be comfortable... although these shoes are obviously not intended as a stay-dry shoe! They are a great choice for a versatile travel shoe! It's the only shoe I would take on a trip unless your plans call for a dressier shoe also!

Keen Newport H2 - I love my Keen's. I walk 3 miles every AM in them and they feel great. I purchased a half size larger due to other reviews and they fit perfect. My husband also bought a pair. They are great for creek walking in Markleeville, CA.

Although these boots are definitely warm, they are nowhere near waterproof (it is often rainy/drizzly and cold here) despite spraying them several times. Also, there is NO cushioning to speak of, especially under the heel. I have club feet so I have to be very careful what I wear; UGGS sadly have to be resigned to the pile of shoes I can only wear on good feet days. I've got a stress fracture in my heel at the moment and wearing these - even to go to the store - I can feel every bit of pavement through them. Cute shoes, warm, but not good for lots of walking, or if you have foot problems, or if it rains where you live...

Comfortable. Everything they claim to be. I have flat feet, a bunion, both knees replaced, and Rheumatoid arthritis in my ankles. I am overweight and I walk on the sides of my feet. They have an excellent arch support, they are a little clunky, no break in time, felt great right out of the box. They are a little hard to slip on over my heel, so I use a shoe horn. They have a nubby texture on the insole but you get use to it. I bought them in black. I love these shoes!!! I have had them about a month and have worn them non stop except for bed. They are so comfortable, my feet are cool and no stubbed toes. I did order them a 1/2 size larger as most reviews said to and they fit perfectly. I am going to the Grand Canyon next month so we shall see how they do. I love ZAPPOS because you get your order the next day and the shipping is free, and returns are just as fast and FREE! I tell everyone how great your service is.

Almost perfect - I love this shoe unless I'm hiking through water. After they got wet, they started to rub the inside of my foot and I had to take them off to avoid blisters. Too uncomfortable to tough it out.

Wonderful shoe - I ordered the aqua haze/brittany blue and the color is really pretty! I ordered a size 8 because of other reviews and really should have ordered the size I wear which is a 7 1/2. So if you are a true certain size, order it. The 8 was a little big, but not enough to send back. I wore these shoes when my hubby and I took holiday in Belize. They were perfect for the jungle hiking and crossing creeks. My feet never slipped out of the shoe and only had a few small gravel float in the shoe, but if you hold in the water and swish your foot back and forth quickly, they will come out. This shoe is comfortable, no break in needed, good cushion, dries quickly, protects your feet well. Great shoe!

My favorite shoe - Great looking, comfortable, funky colors. Wear with or without socks. I walked 3 miles the first time I wore them in total comfort!

Great multi purpose active shoe - The Keen Newport is great for walking, hiking (in and out of wet areas) etc. Everyone in our family has a pair. Kids can play as in sneakers and sudden rainstorms with no problem. Good arch support and wide toe box = comfort. The look – well it grows on you!!!

Misleading color - The overall sandal is great and the color is not bad either; however, when I ordered the shoe, I thought it would be more of a khaki color as it showed in the photo of the shoe. Many times I viewed the different angles of the sandal and it clearly looks khaki in color. However, when I opened the box they were LIME green. Guess I should have paid closer attention to the name: Kiwi Madder Brown!

Keen H2 sandal - I need a very supportive sandal that does not slide around on my foot. These fit the bill. They are pretty comfortable, can't be on my feet all day in them but long enough.

Excellent Shoe - I purchased this shoe for both my mother and I and we just love them. We found both pairs to be true to size and very comfortable. We have also gotten many compliments on them. I would highly recommend them!

These sandal/shoes are very comfortable. They are the perfect thing for me in my job that requires closed toe and heal strap. I still feel as if I am wearing a sandal, but have all the necessary parts covered. My feet sweat in these, and have heard that these will get kinda stinky, but nothing a washer can't handle. I just hope they don't float on the top and not get clean. :)

Highly recommended - I purchased this sandal, based on my husband's recommendation (something I wouldn't normally do). It's a great sandal to walk in, plus versatile enough to go from dry land to the stream while walking the dog!

Comfort in a box - I bought these shoes for summer tramping on the golf course with my son and for walking down gravel roads. Right out of the box, these shoes were comfortable and tough enough to do what I needed. I walked 18 holes with no break in time. I needed a wide toe box for slight bunions and these really worked well for me. I love the fact that they can go into the washing machine too. The only trouble, the dog chewed the little strap tightener. I just tied it off. Not the best looking shoe, but very practical. I bought this shoe a half size larger than what I normally wear as recommended by others here. Perfect fit.

Zappos and Keen are fantastic!!! I ordered the sandals yesterday and they arrived this morning. Zappos is amazing; best service ever!! The sandals look great and are comfortable right out of the box. This is my second pair of Keen shoes and I have nothing but good things to say about their products. I ordered a 10.5, the same size I wear in Nike running shoes and they fit perfectly.

Great shoe! Everyone in my family has a pair... we love them! Very versatile and fit true to size.

Most comfortable and versatile shoe I have ever worn. I do not usually spend a lot of money on shoes, but this is the best money I have ever spent on shoes. I can do everything in them – grocery store, walk at the track, garden, you name it – and my feet feel great all day long!

These are good summer walking/light hiking shoes. My husband and I each own 2 pairs. The feet stay cooler than they do in walking shoes and socks. You can wash these in soap and water when they get smelly or dirty (which is a big plus). Of course, wear these without socks. The only draw backs are your feet get dirtier than in shoes and socks (obviously) and sometimes small pebbles get in the footbed under your feet, which is annoying.

Love kiwi Keen - This is my second pair of Keen Newport H2s. I have a wide foot with sensitive nerve damage, so comfort in a shoe is very important. I ordered kiwi/madder brown color and now have happy and very colorful feet.

Very comfortable sandals! I do not know how they did it, but I ordered this sandals after dinner and next day after lunch the box was delivered to my door. Outstanding! I was a happy owner of Ecco Predator for the last three years and it was a time to get a new sandals. Reading previous reviews, I got 0.5 size bigger and it fits very well. The comfort of these sandals is much better than Teva and Ecco. I already did 3 mile jogs with my dog and not even a small blister. I think from now on I am hooked on this brand.

Comfy and lasts for years! Two days after you start wearing these shoes they will fit like a glove. My old ones lasted for 3.5 years before the sole finally started breaking down!
