Prior purchases were comfortable & wore well. The style has changed a little and I would love to have kept these shoes if they were wide enough to be comfortable.

If you notice, the shoes don't have a comfort cushion for the back of your feet. And the shoes do have a serious weight to left a scar on the back of your feet after a not so long walk. The style is amazing and the details just perfect. Too bad it's not comfortable enough for me. Let me know if any of you have the same issues with these shoes.

I chose my size based on the measurement guide. My foot measures 25 cm and I'm a size 8. That's no surprise. The problem is that the boots are smaller and narrower. The materials are also hard and literally hurt your foot. I don't recommend them. I gave it two stars because the color is pretty. That's the only thing I appreciate about it.

I have been wearing these shoes for over 30 years. Unfortunately the ones manufactured in the last few years have terrible workmanship. Sole comes off, lately the glue on the front came off. Right one feels different compared to the left one. Wouldn't buy again.

Timberland boat shoes have been my go-to since the 1980s, but the soles on my current pair separated from the uppers after comparatively little use. I'm left with the impression some executive got a bonus by cheapening the method of construction, and now I wonder whether there's any point to buying a replacement pair.

I bought 13D, which means "wide" in the normal shoe world. But for some reason, these are "medium", and they are unwearable. They should use normal shoes size terminology instead of making up their own. These shoes used to be all I wore, but now I cannot because they do not have wide and they don't know what to call them.

Over the years, the quality of the sole has deteriorated. It used to be more durable, now it splits after a little over a year of use with the shoe still new!

Ordered new boat shoes and something is way off on the sizing now, ordered the exact same size and width as I have for 20 plus years and the new shoes were at least a 3/8 inch narrower in the width which makes them uncomfortably tight even without socks. returning these

I wore my new boat shoes to work for 7 days and the sole is already wearing out. The catch is that I work behind a computer screen with minimal walking. Imagine if I actually wore them out!. I don't see them lasting longer than 2 months, hopefully I can find a place to replace the sole of the shoe. Also, the bottom part of the show commented to the sole is already drying out.

Replaced a pair I had for years. Not the same at all. Fit very tight in the lace area and loose at the heel. Returned them for a pair of Rockport Ports of Call-Perth. They are perfect.

This is the best looking boat shoe made. I wore NOTHING but this shoe (a version with a thicker sole) all through the 80's. I though it was back with a more conventional sole, but it's not the same! I wore it in the house to test it's comfort and after an hour, I HAD to take them off. The area under the tie hurt. I loosened it, but no relief. I wear nothing but boat shoes, and thought with the other major Boat Shoe manufacturers quality slip,I'd been saved. I returned these shoes today. Close, but no cigar.

As I have had a few pairs of these shoes through the years and had been quite satisfied , I am disappointed with my last purchase. Unfortunately the last purchase was made online which is the always a gamble when buying shoes and sorts. The pair I received did not fit like my old pair which I still have. The problem with these shoes I received is that the heel is not as high up on my heel as my previous pair and slip off my heel. I am not sure if these redesigned the fit of the shoe, but if I could have found them in the store and tried them on I probably would not have bought the shoes.Buying certain products like clothes and shoes is risky because you cannot try them on for size. Also, if Timberland changed the dimensions of the shoe follow this rule of thumb. Don't change what works for you all these years.

This is my second pair, first in 5 years, so they lasted a while. On my old pair, the heel insole peeled up after a while. On my new pair, it peeled up immediately, on the second wear. They look great, but for close to 100 bucks. The quality isnt there. Gonna buy Topsiders next time.

Extremely narrow, advertised as W but are medium width at best. Wide means 4E, not 2E, totally false advertising, especially when you have to buy online.

I first starting wearing Timberland 2-eye boat shoes in the 1980s. They were an excellent shoe then. I recently purchased the 21st century version of the same shoe. Reluctantly, I cannot recommend this shoe because the shoe's interior space doesn't compare favorably with its exterior. My complaint is that the shoe's interior lining for the soles of the feet is not a full lining. It looks and feels cheap. This lining is glued in and started peeling the after I wore the shoes twice. It's a mystery to me why Timberland would do a good job on this shoe's exterior but resort to chicanery on the inside of the shoe. Timberland: you can, and should, do better than this.
