I have worn New Balance shoes for years. I could always ask for my size and they would fit. Now it is hit or miss on whether the size is true to what it says it is. I ordered these in an 11 4E and they were narrower than 4E and a half to a full size shorter tan an 11. Very disappointing. Just glad I bought them from Zappos.

These shoes are awful...terribly made. The first pair arrived torn or never even sewn in a spot. The second pair, after 2 and a half months of wearing, and not even every day, the stitching tore again. First pair of New Balance we have had trouble with, but switching to Nike for now. Zappos, as usual, is awesome and replaced with new Nikes.

I have extremely wide feet, and have been wearing a New Balance EE, which is still a bit tight. I ordered this in a 4E, or extra wide, thinking it would be more comfortable, but the shoe was much narrower than my New Balance EE. I don't think they're true to size in regard to width. They were so narrow the toe was almost pointed at the end.

Bought these shoes for work. Wore them throughout just seven shifts and will never put them on my feet again. Completely flat inside. No arch support at all. Caused me terrible knee and foot pain. Went back to wearing my old worn out New Balances because they have much more support.

Much too narrow. NB must have changed their lasts. Will return and find something else. Maybe another brand. Disappointing.

I have been buying NB 608, 621 and 623's for years: always ordering the same size. The last two pairs of MX623 are smaller and narrower than marked. They were made in different countries and are even sized differently from one another, one pair even smaller. I had to return one extremely small pair. The replacements were just as bad. But both pairs will be relegated to yard work. They are uncomfortable for anything over an hour.

I have worn New Balance as an athletic shoes exclusively for years, mostly the 608 (which is no longer available in my size) with great results. However, this shoe is literally painful to wear.
