Well, I just got these and I haven't tried them in the rain yet but as far as looks and comfort go they are really great! Super comfortable and will look really cute with shorts or leggings and they're wide enough to tuck your jeans into. I'm a solid size 6 and ordered a 7 (based on the reviews I read here) and 7 is perfect.

I have been waiting for it to rain so I could wear these at the soccer fields. I finally got to wear them today and they did not disappoint. I normally wear a 6 1/2 but ordered a 7 after reading the reviews; they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. They look great tucked into my skinny jeans. I got many compliments on them and actually look forward to muddy soccer fields now! Excellent Zappos service as I got these the next day!

Love these boots! Not as heavy as others. They look almost like a dressy. More feminine rain boot. I usually wear a 9 1/2 in a shoe but the size 10 in this boot fits perfect -- with room for a thicker sock if needed. Bring on the rain!

I'm a size 7.5, so I ordered a size 8 and they fit like a glove - literally. If you like and want that type of fit, great but I wanted "muck" boots I could tuck my pants into and wear thick socks with. So, I returned them and got a size 9 - and they're exactly what I wanted. Still snug fitting around the calf, but if you fold your pants and then tuck, it fits perfectly (even bell-bottom jeans). I love the treads on these boots (great traction) and so easy to hose off after mucking through the mud. The buckle is a cute touch, just wish it were more functional or at least wasn't made so fragile that you feel you have to watch out for it. Love these boots. Love that the company will take them back for recycling after use.

Very good water-proof boot. Very snug fit -- use thin nylon stocking to help slide boot off.

I ordered these boots in Feb/Mar anticipating walking my dog in rainy Chicago weather. They came within 2 days as promised. The season is now here and I finally got to try them out. So far they are great. Per other reviewers, I took their advice and bought a size up, usually a 7 so I bought the 8. Also true to reviews, they are a little snug in the calf area, so if you have muscular calves they may not work for you. They are serving the purpose of why I ordered them--muddy and rainy dog walks. I was specifically looking for rain boots that didn't smell. I had a pair that must have been all vinyl that we had to leave outside, they smelled so badly. So this pair smelled slightly of rubber on the first few days, and now they don't smell at all. Yay!

Great value. This rain boot is pretty sturdy, comfortable, and flexible enough to walk in without discomfort. I normally wear a 10.5, and I found the size 10 difficult to get my foot into. The 11 was perfect. The calf is barely too snug to fit jeans into, but you will find that with most rain boots.

Great boots, very solid and relatively lightweight for rainboots. They are tight (I usually wear a 7.5 and these 8's fit just right). The calf area is tight, but I can get a pair of jeans in there. Great rain boots so far!

I bought the Olivia boot in eggplant, but it really is more like a bright purple. I get compliments on them all the time. The boot is snug in the calf and runs small like other reviewers have said. I wear a 7-7.5 and the 8 fit me fairly snug. I can wear a sock with the boot. It's not as tall as most of the rain boots I've tried but I like the streamlined fit. They fit more like a pull-on riding boot. It's pretty comfortable for a rain boot - you can definitely tell it has a cushioned foot bed. I wouldn't recommend them to people with wide feet, since they fit so snugly on my narrow feet. They are excellent quality, recyclable, and reasonably priced. Good purchase.

These boots are great for that in-between snow and rain weather. The sole is comfortable so I can walk around in them all day long. The leg is a bit on the tighter side, so if your legs aren't stick-thin, expect these to be snug. I love the way these look too. Not too rustic or utilitarian, but also not covered with crazy patterns or polka dots.

Great boots. Very comfortable. The shaft is fitted, but they fit over skinny jeans just fine without the ankle looking bulky and oversized like some brands do so they still look cute. It takes a little practice to get used to the feeling of driving in these boots, but they have great traction so definitely doable. The olive color is just as it looks in the picture. Not too dark.

A sturdy, beautiful, well-crafted boot. I'm thrilled with these. I hate shoes for women with no tread and these have a fantastic tread. No slipping in the rain while looking classy. As other customers said these are great for those of us with skinny legs who often look silly in boots. And definitely order a full size larger than than you usually do.

I was a little worried about whether these would fit or not since many people on Amazon complained about the size being too small, specifically the top of the foot being too narrow. That's why I ordered mine off Zappos knowing I could easily return them if they didn't work. I normally wear a 9 and I ordered a 10 after reading the many reviews. They fit perfectly! I wouldn't say I have wide feet so if you do have wide feet that may be why they are too small? Not a problem for me though. I can tell already that they are made of high quality and aren't the cheap $25 rain boots I see at Target which have poorly designed seams and just smell awful brand new. These didn't actually smell too bad out of the box, just slightly rubbery, and they are super cute. I haven't worn them in the rain yet seeing as it hasn't rained, but I can tell they are going to last. Even better, when I do decide to get new boots down the road, I can recycle these! My only issue with these was getting them on with socks since my wool socks just don't slide well against the inside material because there's too much friction. However, I have a few pairs of more "silky" feeling socks that are nylon material and they make getting the boots on easier. There's also little arch support, but considering I wear Chuck Taylors most of the time it doesn't bother me, but if you do need the support you can take out the current liner and replace it with your own if you wanted. Definitely worth the money!

These are great rain boots and very warm if you wear wool socks with them. I've practically been living in them for the past month here in NH. I'm able to tuck all of my pants into them, not just skinny jeans, they are cute and practical. I normally wear a size 8.5 and a 9 fit perfectly. They are also a much better deal than Hunter boots.

I read many of the reviews and I am so appreciative of their help in purchasing this incredible boots! I love them! I splashed around in puddles like a little kid wearing these. They are definitely true to size and are more narrow than other boots I had tried on in the past (I have very narrow feet!) I was also so pleased with my salesperson on the phone who assisted me with my order. She was very attentive and helpful with my purchase. They arrived extremely fast and I wore them throughout a very rainy week in Southern California. Who would've thought that rain boots could be cute and functional? And eco-friendly to boot (no pun intended!).

Got these shoes in 2 days after receiving a free upgrade in shipping! Love it! I ordered a size up after reading other people's reviews. The bottom foot part feels great but the top calf part feels tight. May have to roll my jeans because they are not going to fit inside the shoe. Still wearable but definitely get a larger size.

Great boots. I bought these for my 8 year old. They remind me of "Hunter" boots, but at a great price. Great quality. Cute. Easy to get off and on.

I was looking for rainboots that would better fit my tiny calves, that would be less bulky, and that would give me better traction. These boots fit the bill! While there is about an inch of space between my calf and end of the boot, they look far better than the other boots I own. They are so sturdy and light, so I am looking forward to walking around campus in them. Overall, these are wonderful light boots with a narrow look - definitely not like most big bulky rainboots - plus Zappos exchanges and shipping are wonderful! However, do not order a size down -- it is a very narrow boot and it is hard to get your foot in already. Overall, great purchase. My first of many Kamiks, and my first of many Zappos purchases!

As other reviewers have mentioned, Kamik rain boots have a snug fit. So, water doesn't come in the top, but they have to be pulled off, you can't just kick them off like the rain boots from my childhood. That said, they are very comfortable and not tight. They just fit like a real boot and not a rubber bucket. They are true to size, but because the shaft is snug and the buckle is decorative only, probably not the best boot for someone with larger calves. I have average calves and they fit perfectly. I also love that you can send Kamiks back to the company for recycling. Yay!

Really like this boot so far though I haven't walked a long distance in them yet. They are probably better for narrow feet and slender calves which I have - no problem getting them on or off and because they are narrow they will look good with skirts too! Much easier to walk in than another pair I tried. I really appreciate the environmentally friendly message from the company (to recycle, etc.).

This boots are great! They are lightweight, very comfortable and they are perfect for rainy or snowy weater. Great buy!

These are true rain boots - not for the faint of heart. They are a little tight and not easily removed for a reason - they're supposed to protect your feet! I originally thought I would use these thinking they'd be for more fashionable occasions, but really they're best for stomping around in the mud, which is also pretty fun! So more utilitarian than fashionable, but I'm happy with them. I like that they are made in Canada (Hunter's are made in China) and can be recycled by Kamik. My size usually ranges from 8 1/2 to 9 and I purchased a 9. Again, snug to get in, a little hard to remove, but the fit is perfect once in. I find I need to wear them with pants tucked in. When I wear them with pants out, they flop around a bit uncomfortably.

I'm very happy with this boot. With a thick sock it fits great. It's perfect for dealing with the messy weather of late winter and early spring.

Great quality and very sturdy, had to return them for a larger size. I love, love the boots. Great quality and workmanship. I am sure they will last a long time. I had no problem with the exchange in sizes, very quick return.
