The calf is very tight, while the ankle is very loose.

Ouch! I don't have wide feet and these are very difficult to get on and off, impossible with socks and after about an hour, they hurt. They really are tight around the arch of my foot and on the top near my ankle. Look for another brand for sure.

Not a comfortable shoe. I don't know what is up with the back section of the heel, but it is pinched in very close at an oddly low location. I have very narrow calves and feet and it was too tight for me, I could feel myself getting a blister even by walking around in my house! I am returning.

I was glad to find solid colored purple in size 11, which is not an easy task, but am not too happy with these. They are very tight at the top, around the calf,and have lots of extra space at the ankle. I have only worn them under jeans since the fit is so weird and that is not why I wanted them. I wanted them to wear over skinny jeans - that is not going to happen.

These were great until the sole separated and a hole started in the rubber near the toe. Not waterproof or even really wearable at this point. Very disappointed…

The boot looks fine, but I could not even put my foot into it. I am a size 6 1/2-7. I purchased a size 7, just like my other rain boots. I would say more than 1 size too small.

These boots were too tight around the ankle. They were uncomfortable to get off and on. I tried to give them to my mom because she has a narrower foot and I thought it was me but even she said they didn't fit right. Something is wrong with these boots.

I am a size 7.5 and i couldnt even slide my foot in. I had my coworker try these boots and she has a supe thin ankle / foot. She couldnt even slide her foot in either. I think these boots are defected

wanted to love these boot but I just got them today and can't get my foot into the footbed. Sadly returning...

Nice looking boots. However these were not easy to slip on and felt tight and half size too small. I usually were a size 6 with a narrow fit.

I loved the look of these boots however I have high insteps and was unable to get my feet into these boots.

Do all Canadians have narrow feet? I ordered up half a size and had extra length in the boots but, goodness, they are narrow! I don't have wide feet, just average, and found these unwearable. Also, as others have reported, there isn't a lot of room at the ankle to slip your feet in and out. These are going back.

The sizing around the ankle was so snug I could barely fit my foot through.

I am returning these boots for the simple reason that I could't even try them on due to my very high instep. Very disappointed.

What a joke. Not sure the company's logic of how a size 10 foot would have a 13-inch calf? Absolute waste of time.

I could not even get my foot into these boots. Maybe they were factory seconds? I literally couldn't get my foot in. It was as if the shoe part was flattened and there was no room to fit a foot. So disappointed after reading so many positive reviews and it is such a nice looking boot.

Could not even get my foot into the boot! I think my calf will fit the shaft (a concern of others) but these did NOT feel like size eight; no way to get my foot in. Very disappointed. Must return.

I have average size feet and calves however these boots got stuck on me took me 10 minutes to get them off! Horrible

Absolutely terrible. Way too small in my normal size and impossible to even get on.

I am a true size 7 and ordered these boots in a 7. I was very dissatisfied with the cut. They are cute but EXTREMELY difficult to get on and off! The cut is very narrow not allowing for thicker socks on cold days. They are also very stiff and don’t bend well when walking and heavier than any rain boot I’ve owned in the past. Sadly they are going back.

I initially ordered a size 7. Too small, but with a little slip in the heel. Toes hit. Tried size 8. Too Big. and really slip. I have skinny feet. I don't understand why companies don't make 1/2 sizes. Love the color and style, but not functional at all.

I wanted so badly for these boots to fit. I wanted them for rain and to wear while gardening....I am sorry to say, though beautifuly constructed, the boots were too tight on my calves. I especially would not be able to wear them over my pant legs. I do not have exceptionally large calves. I'm 5'8, size 9.5 shoe, (I ordered size 10 boots) wear size 10/12 pants. :(

Cute and comfortable but at the very top of the shaft my calf barely fit with leggings on (and I never need wide shaft boots!). It was the only place the boot really touched my leg at all, but it was far too snug. I was really disappointed in this design flaw. I had to send them back.

I'm a standard size 8 and couldn't get my foot into the boot! Far too narrow around the ankle :-(
