I had high hopes for these cute rain boots. I have a pretty standard, narrow-ish, size 8 foot, and pretty normal calves. I could barely get them on! The top of my foot got trapped in the leg shank. And once I got it down to the bottom, the calves were so tight that my bare leg hardly fit inside. So much for a good rain boot. If I can't tuck pants in they are useless. So even a larger size boot would not have addressed these problems. Back they go. Maybe if you have a flat foot and a bony calf they would fit you, but they aren't for me.

Cute but too tight around the top for pants. I have thin legs but unless you are wearing leggings your pants will not fit inside the boot. Very small in ankle area too but will work with regular socks. Have to return.

I could not get my foot into this boot. I am usually a wide fitting 8 1/2 to 9 US but this seems very narrow in the leg shaft, so narrow that my foot with a thin sock could not get into the boot. This is a lovely minimalist boot so if you have a narrow and dainty foot this is a great boot and a super price point.

I was excited to have these but I found pulling them off to be brutal. They suctioned at my calves. I'd say purchase one size up but that isn't an option for me since I'm typically a size 10 and they don't make anything above that.

These boots are cute and comfy, but I had to return them. I have fairly slim calves and I could not wear these over pants, even thin yoga pants (I tried just to see). I wanted these to wear over pants for obvious reasons when it's wet outside, but they won't do. Other than being tight around the legs, they were comfortable and the fit was good.

I really wanted to love these but I had a few issues with them. As other reviewers have stated, they were very tight in the arch/instep area. Also, they were tighter around my calves than I prefer; I wouldn't have been able to tuck in my pant legs. They felt very slim fitting all the way around. I ended up going with the Kamik Jenny, which fit much better for me (very comfortable!) and are slightly shorter, avoiding the tight around the calves issue.

Terrible fit. I am 5'5" and have a medium build; getting these boots on was uncomfortable enough but getting them off was a different story - I had to tug and pull while sitting down. Very disappointed. I bought these hoping to find a less expensive alternative to Hunter boots, but the Hunter fit so much better when I tried it on in store. And I didn't struggle to get it off! Uncomfortable and stiff to walk in - I returned these the day they arrived in the mail.

I usually wear a size 7.5- in rain boots I've been getting size 8 for the extra room for thick socks. Even with a pair of thin darn tough socks, these are really tight! Also the height is a bit shorter than I'd like (which I would have realized if I read the whole description, but I was really trying to get a pair of Kamik's and the Jennifer fit was off too, so figured I'd try these). I can't imagine that a 9 would be better, but perhaps with thick socks. I like that the rubber feels thick, but it's just not comfortable around the front of my foot and my heel rubs the back (again, possibly i need a size up? I've never been a 9 though, that seems strange to me). returning them- didn't want black anyway, but I think I'm sticking with the le chameau's- they are crazy expensive, but just a bit more than the Hunter's that I'll send back given the poor reviews re:longevity, I'd rather pay a little more and have boots that last... and avoid the chinese labor pool (even though that's half my ancestry).

I was excited to order these boots for upcoming rainy spring days, but unfortunately, these boots run small. I usually wear an 8.5 in shoes. I ordered a 9, and they were too tight, especially with socks. The calves on these boots are super tight as well. There's no way they can be worn over jeans. It's disappointing. I will be returning these.

Sadly, I had to return these boots. They were simply too tight in the calves, which is a first for me (seems to be common of Kamiks). They would probably be fine, albeit a little tight, if I were to always make sure to wear skinny jeans or leggings, but I also want to be able to tuck my boyfriend jeans in the boots as well. Other than the calf size, I thought they cute and had nice support. They were a little heavy so I'm not sure if walking in them for long distances would be comfortable. Oh and I wear a 9 or 9.5 and the 10 was an true fit, so much so that if I wanted to wear thick socks I would have been better off with an 11.

This boot runs narrow in the calf and ankle. I did not heed others' advice as I have thin ankles and calves, but I unfortunately have to return them due to the overall tightness. If you do purchase, I would recommend going up at least one size - especially if you plan on wearing with anything thicker than tights or thin socks.

I loved these when I first saw them...but I would never buy another pair. They made of a really weird rubber, that (while it looks awesome) scuffs so easily and shows every speck of dust/dirt. I loved that they had a very matte finish, as I don't like shiny boots at all, but I think that is why they look so bad, almost instantly. They are almost sticky, they way they attract lint and dust. Washing/wiping doesn't work, I ended up rubbing some Vaseline into them to try and make them look better. I think they're awful, if I'm being honest. They just look dingy/scuffed/dusty, even if I do nothing at all in them.

I really wanted to love these. They are so nice looking and really comfortable. They seem very well constructed. However, they were way too tight around the calf area. I am not overweight or bulky in the calf area, just a standard size calf here. They were also tight in the ankle area which was not a problem once my feet were in them but getting them in or out was not easy. Also they felt perfect with thin socks on but forget about a boot liner or thick winter socks. Not going to happen. Sad that I have to send them back because of fit because they really are looking and well made and also very comfortable otherwise. If you have thin calves, go for it! You will love them!

I just received these in the mail today and while they are cute, I had a hard time getting them on. I figured just with any other shoe you need to wear them for a few minutes or so, well when I tried to get them off my foot was stuck in the boot! I am returning these ASAP!

I love, love, love these! Was walking around my house just in socks, and started to have foot problems. With these, my arches have support and my feet are warm.

I have searched a long time for the perfect rain boot. I was excited to find these. These are really cute but sadly I had to send them back. They were super tight at the top so would not be able to fit them over skinny jeans.

These boots are super cute and seem like they would hold up pretty well. However, I am a size 7.5 to 8 and have a pretty narrow foot and when I tried these boots on they were uncomfortable and felt too small. They were fine in length but too narrow. I have a pair of Hunter's and wanted a new pair of boots for those days when I don't want to wear my pink Hunter boots or my plaid Burberry boots. And I also didn't want to splurge for a black pair of either. I think these would work for a super narrow foot and they do look like a durable boot. If you're looking for a very durable long-lasting rain boot I would definitely splurge for Hunter rain boots. If you don't want to pay $150 for rain boots you can also try Tretorn boots. I've heard amazing things about them!

I love the fact that the manufacturer accepts these boots for recycling! The boots look great too. Sadly, I have to return them because I can't fit my pant legs inside the boot- not good for a rain boot.

I'm returning these boots because I can't get a size that fits. My usual size 6 is very small. I found this brand in a local shoe warehouse and tried on the 7 but it was still too small. When I tried on the size 8, it was much too big. I'm very disappointed because they are pliable and have a comfy interior.

I wanted to love these boots, but sadly, I listened to reviewers who said to order a half-size down. Big mistake. I had to insert arch supports because the boot lacks any support and that made these too tight and incredibly uncomfortable. I am very sorry that I didn't just get 7.5 or 8 and now regret the purchase.

Without a doubt, these are some nice looking rain boots. A good balance of fashion and utility. And the color (I chose purple) is a nice girly touch. My job requires me to work with animals all day (sweating my buns off let me tell you), but it is nice to be wearing a feminine set of rain boots while I am sanitizing a kennel or walking dogs in the rain. That is the good. Now the bad: They fit my feet fine. No problems there. In fact, there is a nice insert inside for extra padding. But man, what a different story when it came to the calves of the boots. It felt like a boa constrictor was squeezing the life out of my poor legs! Yikes. Hoping I just needed to stretch them out a bit, I wore them around the house for about half an hour but then my legs started to throb so I called it quits. Back the boots went. It is a shame really, they are so cute. Now, I have never really considered myself to have fat calves. However, I do run on a regular basis, so they are a bit on the muscular side. I am not talking tree trunks here, but they are definitely a little thicker than average. That having been said, I have never had any trouble finding boots that fit before buying these. To sum it up, I would recommend these boots for girls with very thin calves only. But if you are bound and determined to buy them anyway, go up a couple sizes. Maybe that will help.

These are oddly narrow especially around the ankle; and I actually have narrow ankles and feet. I felt like Aquaman in them, they have a very amphibious look and I am not digging it. That being said, they seemed well made, and I'm sure they work just fine keeping feet dry. I just wish they looked less...weird. But, since Zappos is so awesome, I've already sent them back and ordered another pair.

I wanted to like these boots but the fit was all wrong for me. I was hoping to save a little money and bought these instead of Hunter boots but the first pair I ordered in my usual size of 8 (I usually get an 8 or 8 1/2) were so small fitting that it was painful to take them off. I returned those and tried a 9 which is typically big for me and those are also too small! The foot bed would be fine but the ankle is very tight and the calf is also narrow and rubs my (average size) leg. I have never had to send back two pairs of shoes so this was very disappointing. Other people have written reviews saying that these boots are true to size but I have to strongly disagree. Even the 9 was very uncomfortable and hard to get off my feet. I would have no chance of wearing these with socks or even fitting any thickness of pants down inside the boot with my feet in them.

I typically wear a 7 to 7.5 and I have very narrow ankles and calves. I ordered a 7 and felt that they were very tight in the ankle and calf. They were difficult to get off and with a pair of thick socks I could feel the pulse in my feet. I love the look and quality of the material and just exchanged them for a size up.

I have narrow feet but these are really narrow. They wore down the heels of a bunch of my socks so I wrote to the company and they still haven't responded. Zappos was great about it (as usual) but I'll never buy another pair of Kamik boots again.
