I'm not crazy about these boots. They're really snug, especially in the calf (and I don't have big calves, at all!) and they are difficult to get on and off because of a narrow ankle area. They're cute, but not meant for long walks. I mainly use them as my dog walking shoes and was dissapointed that they weren't as comfortable as my old boots bought at Target several years ago.

These boots are lovely, sleek, and appear to be appropriate for the remnants of snowpocalypse here in Chicago. Big problem for me was that they were entirely too tight. They are tight in the footbed. I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 but even the 9 in this is uncomfortable. And, I have large calves (one larger than the other) and these made them look like small sausages. I wanted to keep them but they had to go back. Shoot!

I like that these boots are very reliable, waterproof and strong. Putting them on and taking them off is very difficult and therefore I don't wear them so often.

I couldn't get my foot all the way down into the boot. Definitely more for a narrow foot. Very cool looking.

This is certainly not the boot for anyone with any sign of a calf muscle. I do not have overly developed calves, at all, but they are present and moderately athletic. I disregarded the reviews that described this boot as "slim" and for "thin legs" and sized up hoping to make it work. I never realized how small legs on boots can actually run. What a strange surprise. Needless to say, I returned them. It really is a shame, though, because they are beautiful boots. I just wish they came sized for normal people.

I'm thinking the size, width, and support might be good for this boot if I could have gotten it all the way on. My feet are narrow, I don't have a high arch, and my heels are so narrow I have a hard time with shoes slipping off. However, I could not get this boot on. They are so narrow at the ankle that I couldn't get my foot into the boot. This is a first for me. Also, once again, I received a pair of boots or shoes from Zappo's, via Amazon, that are clearly not brand new. I would be fine if this was indicated at purchase, and if they were offered at a slight discount. As this is the third time this has happened to me, I will no longer be shopping at Zappo's.

Cute boots but crazy narrow width/opening to get your foot into the footbed. I never have an issue with width of shoes. I barely could get my foot in and out of the shoe when trying them on. No way I would be able to keep and wear them. Way too tight.

These fit me perfectly (I have slender calves though). They are a lot heavier than my other (taller) Kamik boots, so I sent them back. Otherwise I would have kept them. Note to others: These boots don't have the Kamik badge on them; somehow I missed this when looking at the item photos. Normally I'm not one for wearing logos, but it looks pretty sharp on my other Kamiks.

These feel sturdy and solid. Unfortunately, my size-9 kiddo and my size-8 self couldn't comfortably wear them due to the low arch and small calf. My kiddo does not have unusually high arches. These felt unusually snug for rain boots.

My daughter wears a 7.5, ordered an 8 and couldn't even get the boot on. Returned them. Ordered Kamik in the past with no issues, so the sizing on this particular boot is way off.

I ordered a size 9, I usually wear an 8.5 in boots due to the narrowness of my feet and ankles, so I decided to go with the 9. The material, weight and over all look was exactly as I expected. The length was slightly shorter than a typical 9. The actual fit was the issue. I struggled to get the boot on only for it to be so tight around the top of my foot and ankle that it hurt to walk. I had to have help pulling it off. My son who wears a men's 6 (he is extremely small for 13) could not even get his foot in the boot. I have returned them.

I bought these and Hunter to compare. Unfortunately, these were too tight in the calf and difficult to get on and off even though I sized up. (I guess my calves are larger than average...I'm a runner so maybe that's why.) I liked the style of these better than the Hunter because the Kamik boots are more tapered and sleek at the ankle, but the Hunters fit the best, so I returned these.

I could not even get these on. They might be o.k. if you order a size larger than you normally wear.

I was sorry to have to return these boots since they were very snug on my calves. I have never had this issue with other boots. They are very nice boots otherwise, but I would not be able to wear them.

I was so excited for these boots and unfortunately they just didn't fit. I typically wear a size 7.5 so I sized up to an 8 and they were tight in the toes, even with thin socks. Also, the shaft of the boot it very narrow. I do have larger calves but never have I needed a wide calf boot and these were impossible to fit. Ultimately these didn't work for me.

These are very tight in the ankles - and I have small to average ankles. And they are HEAVY. I was looking for a light weight, packable boot for a trip to a wet climate and these are not the ones :-(

These boots were so small across the instep that I wasn't able to get my feet into them. I guess they would be good if you have a low instep.

Unfortunately this did not work for me. The calf opening was far too small. I normally never need a wide calf boot. It was squeezing my leg. Too bad because it’s cute.

I normally wear a 6 1/2 and bought a size 7. These were too tight especially around the calf. I couldn't walk in them. An 8 might have been better but I didn't want to exchange.

Overall, the boot was very snug. I normally wear a 7.5 or an 8 so I ordered an 8. It was very tight across the top of my foot and very tight around my calf. (Never had this issue with any boot before). I tried it on with medium weight socks. I had to return them. I've ordered the Jennifer style because it is a half inch wider in circumference and I ordered a 9 figuring I can wear thicker socks.

Very cute boots, but way too small and tight for me. Need to return them.

I've never met a shoe like this one. I should've listened to the reviews about the calf and heel being too narrow. Although I was able to get the boot on, I had to have help removing it from my foot.

Be careful! These boots do not run anywhere near true to size. This is the second pair I am returning because they are too small. I went up to a size 10 and there is always room in a size 10 for me and I knew if my feet swelled up I would not be able to wear them. I am not going to try the next size up because I have already returned these twice and the sizing makes no sense at all. The actual style and construction seemed nice though. But I hate returning things and I really need some rain boots. Wellies used to run big. Zappos is great though.
