They look nice. But ankle area is narrow. So I feel little bit tight. And it is not easy to take off.

Good rain boots. I walk good distances in them and they are comfortable. They look fine with my business clothes and keep my feet dry. I have narrow calves and they fit well. Note that these pull on, easy.

The boots look and fit great. They're very stylish for rainboots, but still look very much like rainboots. While I'm very happy with the boots, their lack of arch support does make my feet sore if I walk around the city in them for extended periods of time. And the metal buckles fell off within days of me wearing them.

Pros: 1. Zappos 2-way free shipping meant that I was able to test out sizes 8 and 9 (I am usually a 7.5/8). If I were planning to use a fleece welly liner or wear these with thick socks, I would have stuck with the 9, but the 8 is just right for spring and fall with standard socks. 2. Relatively narrow ankles and calves. This is so key since I'm one of those people who always just looks and feels ridiculous in boots due to my narrow feet, ankles and calves. 3. Roomy enough to tuck in skinny jeans or flared yoga pants. 4. Comfy. I appreciate the removable insole too -- while it is perfectly comfortable, I happen to be picky and was glad to be able to use my own insoles. Because I have picky feet I am also sensitive to "hot spots" and I haven't experienced any yet although I will amend this if I do. 5. Great price & quality, I like that they come in solid colors and are a little more "grown up" than the crazy prints you can get on the cheap. Some people have said they resemble Hunter boots, I think they are a little shorter and wider in the calf than Hunters but I have to say I feel smug walking around campus where everyone is wearing Hunters and my boots are just as cute & well made but less than half the price. Cons: 1. Narrow ankle makes them a little hard to pull on, but not a big deal. 2. A little tight on the top of my foot, but I am hoping this will loosen up as I wear them around a little. If I were to exchange for a larger size this would be why. It's not painful but definitely a noticeable and slightly uncomfortable squeeze. Again I am assuming they will break in but I will update if this remains a problem. That's it! These are great rainboots and I look forward to splashing through puddles for years to come!

I wear between an 8 and 7 1/2, but went with the 8, and that seemed to work. My calves are wider than normal and these worked well even over my jeans.

These shoes have gotten me through several months when snow and rain have created puddles over a feet deep. They are also sufficiently stylish--they look good enough with skinny jeans or tights. My only complaint is that after a couple of months, they look a bit worn. The buckle is a bit bent and they are now somewhat scuffed up.

I was very happy with this purchase. I followed the advice to get a smaller size (I am usually a 7.5, I ordered a 7) and was very glad that I did. My toes are wider than normal, and these boots don't squish my toes.

Love these so far...had them about 4 weeks and they've held up beautifully. Really like the look. The color is more khaki green than gray. Also, the side buckles really serve no purpose at all, and one of the metal parts fell off on my second time wearing them. I don't care, but it looks a little strange. They fit my calves perfectly - can still wear them over skinny jeans and even some boot-cut ones. I usually wear a size 9, but after reading reviews I decided on a 10. They fit perfectly, with a little extra room in the toe, but the fit across the top of the foot is pretty snug. I never feel like they're going to fall off, but my normal size would probably have been too tight. Definitely go bigger. Otherwise, I love the fit. It's nice and sleek, though the color doesn't really scream "sophistication," so if you're looking for a rainboot with a little more formality, go with the black. I love the color...it goes well with just about every color combo I've thrown at it. Time will tell if they last, and the signs are pointing to a well-made shoe that has lots of use in it. Got it for both snow and rain, and it has excellent traction and is waterproof, though not terribly warm. Throw on warm socks and you're golden. It's amazing how warm you feel when your feet are actually dry. Great product for the price...forget more expensive Hunters.

I'd been looking for a cute yet functional rain boot for city walking and here it is. The style is very versatile, and the color is unique. However, it is trim to my calves and a tad tight around the ankles. It still works with skinny jeans and a thick pair of wool socks. I usually wear 8.5 to 9 and bought a 9 which works fine.

I love the look of the boot and have already gotten many compliments, as well as people mistaking them for Hunter boots. I am not thick in the calf so I often have trouble with boots being too wide up top, but these are perfect. My only complaint is they don't really have much cushioning or arch support, so it's hard to imagine wearing them for a really long time.

Very happy with these boots. I am an 8 1/2 shoe size, and went with the 9. Wish they came in half sizes - the 9 is just a little too big, but the 8 I can't even get on my foot.

After searching all over town for a pair of rainboots (none to be found!) I turned to Zappos to get my shoes. Of course, the company never disappoints. I ordered these boots at 9 pm and they arrived by noon the next day. These boots are pretty good for the price you pay. Normally I'm a size 7 1/2 but I went with 8s and they fit well in the sole, a little loose on the ankles, and fit my calves perfectly with no gaps. The most I would be able to tuck into the boots are leggings, though, so if you are looking to tuck the ends of jeans into your boots, I would search for another boot. But if you live in a rainy area and wear shorts all year long, these are the boots for you!

Cute style! Looks great with skinny jeans. My calves are small & these fit perfect. If you have larger calves, may not be able to get jeans tucked in boots. The only issue is that I have a difficult time getting the boots off.

They're great - cushioned, fit well and completely waterproof. They're tighter than my last boots but I have no problems getting them on or off. They rubbed up against my heel the first time I wore them but now feel completely fine. Much better value than Hunters. I'm usually a 7.5, so I got the 8.

Overall nice...stiff to walk, especially drive with, though. Wish they had some insulation or something, my feet freeze when I wear them.

The footbed fits really well once you get the boots on, which requires a little pulling. The part around the calf is pretty snug, so don't go with these if your calf is on the slightly bigger side.

These are very good. There's room for an insole if you use orthopedic inserts, but they're also comfortable with their soles as is. In very cold weather, you need either extra socks, very warm thick wool ones, or those special long ones they make for rubber boots.

I feel like after having worn these for about a month now, I can make a fair review. I really love the height of the shaft of this boot, hits just about 2 inches or so below my knee. I like the flat black color and the added buckle for decoration. I've worn the boots all day long all over campus and they are surprisingly pretty comfortable. However, I must make note that the buckles (as mentioned in previous comments) are very cheaply made. The first day I wore the boot I bent the buckle outward pretty far and the flap kept coming out of the buckle. I realized then that it was a very cheaply made, thin metal buckle. It has not broken off yet, but I'm mindful of the accessory and try to be careful not to bend/break it. I like being able to tuck my pants and these and can't wait to wear them with skirts during spring showers. I truly love these; I received compliments on my boots the first day! I also like that they're made with environmentally friendly materials. I also highly recommend a size up. I typically wear a 9 and with thick socks they were way too tight and rubbed the back of my foot. I bought a 10 and they're perfect.

First of all, Zappos is amazing! No shipping fee and fast delivery make this my favorite online shopping site. I really like these rain boots! The description is correct when it says the buckle on the side is for decoration. I definitely wouldn't pull on it. The boots look very stylish and do not have the really wide opening that other rain boots have. This might be a problem though when it comes to wearing anything inside of them but skinny jeans, leggings, or tights. I don't consider myself to have large calves, but they fit pretty snug. I think they're a great quality boot for a great price and I feel like a little kid again since I haven't been avoiding any puddles lately!

Haven't worn these outside yet in the rain, but it's a nice looking rubber boot. It's a little tighter in the calf than I expected. My calves are about 14 inches around and even with the generous amount of room in the calf it was still snug. But other than that I like it.

These boots are very good, especially for the price. They are quite comfortable and look good. My only complaint is I wish they were a few inches taller. I am 5'3''.

Not only do these shoes look great, but they are fantastic for keeping out snow and rain without being too heavy. I bought them just in time for the multiple snowfalls we've gotten this January. I am extremely happy about my purchase every time I'm about to step in a foot-deep puddle. I have two caveats and sometimes my feet get cold when there is snow on the outside (but nothing wool socks can't solve) and they look best with leggings/skinny jeans.

This is a very cute and reasonably priced boot! I bought it for slopping around in the barn, etc. and found its durability very good indeed! The only trouble I encountered with it was that the top was too narrow for my muscular calves, often leaving a red mark after I took them off, though it was a tolerable tightness. Also, I had trouble getting them off my size ten feet, again through the neck of the boot. The decorative tab irritates me slightly because the boot should be wider at the brim and such a tab would indicate the ability to expand, but alas, it is not so. However, the boot has absolutely fantastic treads (I even use them in snow and ice), and does the job of keeping one's feet dry, as it should.

I love these boots! I have been wearing them in the snow, slush and rain and they are great. When I first took them out of the box, I was convinced they were too small and I felt like I couldn't even get them on. My husband got home and said to try them again. Thankfully I did because they fit much better about an hour later. I'm going to blame the cold UPS truck for making them hard to fit initially. I don't have small calves and they fit me just fine with my jeans tucked inside. I normally wear a 9.5 and bought a 10 in these boots. Perfect fit.

I generally wear a size 7 in rain boots but I had to buy a size 8 in this brand. It's definitely a narrow fit so if you have wide calves or wide feet this is not the shoe for you. Overall I love the look of the boots. It's very cute.
