I typically wear a size 8 shoe, B-C width. After reading many of the reviews for this boot, I ordered a size 9. It is a little longer than I need (not a problem), but it is narrow enough that I doubt I could have pulled a size 8 on. The removable insole is completely flat, but it was easy to replace with another insole that provides arch support. I used this boot for "wet landings" on a cruise -- where you have to walk through a little water to get from the zodiac raft to shore. And then walk in lots of mud! These boots were great. And I hope to get more use out of them on rainy days around home.

It's a great boot but for me personally, the calf area is too narrow - I had to squeeze my leg with jeans on into the boot - it was uncomfortably tight.

My daughter has worn Kamik boots for 6 years. Great construction and style for the price. cant go wrong

I have been buying these boots for 3 years now. I work in at a meat processing plant. I need them for going in & out of the freezers & coolers, walking through water & sanitizer & on slick floors. I love them! They'll last me about 6-8 months wearing them 5-6 days a week before the soles wear down. That's the only reason I have to replace them. I get compliments on the style & colors all the time. My back never hurts walking around in them all day. I'm not sliding around in the freezers or coolers! For the money you can't beat them! I'm going to try the Naomi's next & see how well they hold up. I have tried others, but I love Kamik boots!

I have worn these boots a couple of times and agree with other reviews about the calves being narrow. I have very narrow calves and I had room to wear them with skinny jeans or leggings. They were comfortable, cute, and most importantly kept my feet dry.

I bought these becaause we are experiencing flooding. They fit the bill. my suggestion would be to buy one size larger, it will be a lot easier getting them on and off. I bought my size, they fit but snug getting them off

What a deal! These boots have cushion and support which makes them super comfy. They run a little small so had to go up a size.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I had two other pairs of rainboots with wider openings and my feet would always get wet inside. These are awesome and they fit like a real boot, not like the floppier rainboots I had before. One thing to note: if you have narrow feet or need extended calf boots, these are probably not the rainboots for you. My feet are on the wider side and they fit perfectly. Also, the calf of the boot is snug around my leg with leggings on. I am not totally sure I would be successful wearing them over jeans. My 12-year old daughter also has them and they fit her really well - usually adult boots are too wide in the calf but these fit normally on her.

These are great and adorable rain boots. They fit very well and they are reasonably priced for what you get. They're a little bit like a vacuum for your foot, but otherwise they are perfect.

This is a great ,well made boot. However it is also a narrow boot, so if you have wide feet or calves, you will need to size up.

I ordered these boots for work, because it was supposed to pour rain. Well it definitely poured and I was so happy I owned these! I was outside and on my feet for 8+ hours and my feet were comfy and dry. Wear them with cozy socks, since there isn't much lining

These are the best rainboots for the price! Stylish, comfortable, and perfect for gardening. I'm usually a size 8.5 in shoes so I bought a size 9 and they fit perfectly. I would recommend sizing up rather than down if you're between sizes. I have slim calves so I'm usually swimming in tall boots but these have just the right amount of room to be able to tuck in my pants.

So far so good! Fit great, true to size. Comfortable, keep my feet dry and I'm able to wear thicker socks without it being too tight. Narrow around the calf which I like.

Comfy and a great buy! If you are a 1/2 size, order up! Expect to only wear leggings with these - there isn't much wiggle room in the calf area. I ordered the purple and they add a pop of color to whatever I am wearing!

Think these boots will be perfect for my spring trip to Great Britain.

I usually wear between 8 and 8.5 - After reading the review I chose to buy a size 9 and it fits perfectly. The width of the leg is perfect for me, but I can imagine that it might be tight for some people. I like the quality of the shoes and the design that is very simple. That's exactly what I was looking for. I can wear them both at work or in the garden and I feel great anyway!

Bought these for a cruise to Alaska on a very small cruise line that allows zodiac transfers for hiking. I am typically a size 8 and these fit my foot very well (If I did not buy these for specific intent for hiking in wet boggy terrain I would have kept these--sooo cute) but decided to exchange for a size 9 so that I can wear with a thick pair of socks. Nice fit in the foot, not loose or sloppy, (I have a regular width foot) and was comfortable to wear around the house. Never wore them outside so I cannot comment on whether they provide good traction in wet terrain. While I do not have large calves, these fit my calf with a scant 1 finger width of wiggle room. I was concerned that I would not be able to tuck in pants or even the hiking tights I had purchased. I did purchase the size 9 in The Olivia as well a a different Kamik style, The Jennifer, also in a size 9. The size 9 in Olivia would have been a better choice than the 8 and was comfortable with a moderately thick pair of sock. I have, however, decided to keep The Jennifer as there seemed to have a bit more cushion in the foot and a lot more room in the calf which would allow for a tall pair of socks and tucking pants and tights into. The Olivia is very cute with the black and blue but the other Kamik style suited my needs better.

I am very pleased with the feel and quality of this rain boot. After reading the reviews and then measuring my foot and comparing it to the posted size chart on this boot's ordering page, I decided to go up a full size and ordered a size 10 (I usually wear a 9). I am so glad I did! This size 10 rain boot feels like a size 9 to me– it fits me perfectly. There is a bit of room to wear somewhat thicker socks, although they also work with cotton athletic ankle socks. The shaft is not tight on me either, I can easily fit straight leg jeans into the shaft. Not that I have chicken legs– my calf measures 14.5" at its widest point (which is just above where the boot ends). The insole is removable and although it is cushioned somewhat, I am thinking of replacing it with a heavier insole so I can use these boots for longer hikes in muddy areas.

Very comfortable and supportive boot. I spend all day walking in the creek and besides getting hot (as I would expect with any black rubber boot), I have no complaints. The one downside is the calf width. I have very narrow calves, generally I struggle will all boots being too wide in the calf. However, these boots are very narrow in the calf. I struggle to put them on with boot-cut jeans. They would be fine with narrow jeans or leggings though. Love that they are made in Canada.

I love these boots! I bought them to wear when I walk my dog around the river and they are perfect - seem to be well made and keep my feet dry. They look cute, too! For the price, I don't know why anyone would buy more expensive rain boots. I agree with other reviewers that these would not fit someone with wide calves.

I have slim calves, and these boots fit really well. They're comfortable, attractive, and affordable. Definitely recommended!

I wear a reliable size 9 and have narrow, bony feet. I had to return the size 9 and get a 10. Still they are a tight squeeze through the ankle. I also have quite narrow calves. These boots are not for anyone with bigger calves or wide feet. With the size 10, I can use the fleece liners that I bought at Target. When using with my old Target boots, the liners would come out as I pulled my foot out. In these boots, the liners stay put more often than not. Just an indication of how much more fitted this boot is. I do like the boot for it's durability and good tread. Like that it is recyclable by company though these seem like they are durable enough to last years.

This is my first KAMIK boot and I am loving it. Recently bought this boot to handy because we're having quite a bit of rain in Los Angeles this past winter. The OLIVIA is a great boot. Comfortable yet stylish. I like the way it curves around my calf. I can tuck in my jeans. I bought the OLIVIA with a contrasting blue sole on the black boot for a cute, fun look.

Good boot for price. A little heavy but keeps my foot dry

I have not wore the boots yet. I find them to be very sturdy. I love the colors.
