Northface jackets never disappoint! So warm, yet perfect because its not as bulky as a typical caot

I ordered this jacket in black for my teenage daughter. She normally wears smalls in most items and a small in this coat fits perfectly for a coat, not too tight, she can still wear sweaters underneath. She loves the coat and says it is extremely warm!

I was so pleased with finding exactly what I was looking for and Zappos made buying my new North Face jacket easy! I received my jacket within a few days and look forward to purchasing more items through Zappos!

I love this jacket! It looks even better in person. It's extremely warm and comfortable and I get compliments on the color all the time. Zappos shipping is amazing. I ordered this jacket very lat on a Saturday night and it was delivered late afternoon Monday. I couldn't be happier with the jacket and the excellent customer service.

I ordered the Denali, Apex Bionic Jacket, and Khumbu Jacket in small and Medium because I wasn't sure of my size. (5 foot, 5 inch female...138 pounds). I found that the small in the Denali fit me well, but the Apex and Khumbu seem to be made a little more form fitting, so the mediums were better for me in those styles. I found that of the 3 styles, they all look good. The Apex Bionic looks the best, IMO. It is sleek and stylish...looks cool, but also functional. The Khumbu looked cute, and was a little more comfortable than the Apex because the Apex material is a little stiff, but not awful. The Denali looks good, and is also comfortable. Now, here was the decision maker between the 3 styles. All 3 jackets have extremely long arm lengths. With my arms hanging at my sides, the sleeves come down to the middle knuckle on my middle finger! (BTW--this is NOT a common problem I have.) I am not spending extra money to have sleeves on such expensive jackets altered, also, I don't think they'd be able to be altered due to the styling around the hem and the little clip used to attach jackets to shells. Of the 3, the Denali at least has an ELASTIC BAND around the wrist, so although the sleeves are long, they stay put at my wrist and don't annoyingly hang down and cover my hands! I have a feeling that the elastic around the wrist is probably a large piece of the explanation as to WHY the Denali is the most popular of woman's North Face jackets. And coincidentally, also the most expensive of the 3 jackets I chose to order! So, it seems to me like I'm paying about just to have elastic around my wrists! So it goes! The North Face is great quality, and timeless style. Wish I could have gotten the Apex as well as the Denali, but oh well!

I love the color contrast on this jacket and it is just as comfortable as a sweatshirt. Great quality, of course. I ended up sending it back only because it was a little too big in the shoulders and chest. I'm petite and ordered an XS but it still looked a little oversized on me.

This jacket is super comfortable and stylish. I didn't get the black color because there are so many people on campus with this one.

My Fiance purchased this jacket for me (so I would stop wearing his North Face) and I love it! I received it earlier than expected and it's so comfortable. I have the white with the silver and I love it! It's so comfortable and warm. The material is different than my Fiance's; it's much softer and less rugged but still as durable and warm! I would definitely recommend.

I cannot tell you how much I love this jacket! I wear it year round and it is perfect. As always, lightening fast delivery from Zappos (that is what keeps me coming back time and time again) however; I wish they would have looked over this jacket before it shipped. It had someone else's pet hair on it! So I had to clean it before I could wear it myself. If I had not been in such a time constraint, I would have totally requested a new one.

Never ending shedding! Even after two washes & two dry cycles. Maybe because this is made of recycled bottles (per the tag)? I bought the white/beige which is referred to as grey & brown and its fibers are all over the car, the seat belt, my eye lashes! It's a return for me.

I will start this by saying that, at full-price, I don't this jacket is worth it, because at the end of day, it's just a fleece. It is a very nice fleece, and warmer than most, but it's not windproof and unless you live in a mild climate, it will NOT substitute for your thicker winter coat. So, don't buy this expecting that you can replace your winter coat, because that's not what the Denali is meant for. That said, I really do like this jacket. It's a good outer layer for fall/spring or warmer winter days, and assuming it's not windy I can wear it without a shell down to the low 30s or high 20s. It is thick but not bulky, and it's a lot higher quality than many fleeces out there... but again, I find its list price slightly absurd and would highly recommend only getting it on sale. I'd say it runs slightly small, but not small enough where I felt compelled to size up-- my regular size (medium) was SLIGHTLY snugger than I would have liked, but I was absolutely swimming in the large, and I still can manage to lightly layer under the medium. So unless you plan on heavily layering underneath it, I would recommend buying your normal size. Overall, for what it is-- a sturdy, classic fleece-- the Denali is a nice jacket. But don't go into it expecting a toasty warm replacement for your regular winter coat.

I wear fleeces all the time when I walk my dogs or when I'm going to the gym so I thought I'd ask for a nice one for Christmas. I'm not all that convinced North Face lives up to the hype, especially for the price, at least when it comes to these fleeces. First, I'm 5'8" and I'm constantly trying to pull it down (even though it doesn't stretch). I feel like it needs to be a little bit longer to fit in with recent trends. I almost feel nerdy when I wear it. Second, I got the off-white with the grey, patterned color that reminded me of almost a herringbone. When I showed my sister she said, "Is that camo?" and now I cannot get that out of my mind. I wish I would have exchanged it for another color. I will get a ton of use out of this fleece, I just question my decision to get such an expensive one, instead of 3 moderately expensive ones. I hope it lasts me for years without wearing out.

I really liked the look of this jacket, and have several friends that own the black ones. I really liked the weimaraner brown color. However, when I received the jacket, the fleece part already looks kind of old and worn - pilling slightly like old fleece. I'm not sure if it's just the color I purchased or if it's the recycled materials. It would be great to know if anyone else has had this problem. Otherwise I really like the jacket - very warm and lightweight, and I most likely will buy a different color in the future!

This jacket holds warmth without the bulkiness or puffiness of a down jacket. I use it as a winter jacket in Cleveland, OH and so far it has done what it says it will do! I also like the fact that it is made with eco friendly materials. The only negative about this jacket is that the bottom hem-line is not very stretchy even though it has an elastic cord sewn in. I have somewhat of a booty and it is a little tight around the bottom on me.

I love this jacket! It's very warm and very stylish. I wish I would have gotten a bigger size, but other than that, I love it!

I just received my jacket today! It was too small. A large would usually fit me perfect for a winter jacket, but this was not a comfortable fit. It was too tight at the bottom where you begin to zip and seemed short (and I am short! 5'3). I just ordered an XL exchange via the Zappos chat. Beautiful color though (grey on grey wit the light teal zipper). Thank you Zappos for the wonderful as always customer service and easy exchange. They honored my sale price on the exchange and sent out my XL before I even sent back my L.

I have a men's black Denali jacket which I love and my girlfriend wanted one so I purchased it from Zappos. After receiving the jacket I noticed it looked different from mine so I looked at it a little closer. If you purchase the black Denali jacket the first think you will notice is the "north face" logo is not white it is more of a dirty white color. It also shows that these jackets were made in Honduras. It looks as though north face may have changed manufacturers as they were formerly made in El Salvador. You will also notice a difference when you unzip the front left pocket you will notice in the jackets made in El Salvador that the stitching is neat and on the jacket made in Honduras it looks like a big piece of cloth was left behind the logo where it was stitched in. It's obvious the quality is not what it once was. I first thought the jacket was fake so I returned it and get another jacket and received the same jacket. I even took the jacket into a store and compared it with others and it looks nothing like the Denali jackets we all have grown to love. I don't blame zappos for this and I even called north face twice about this issue and they don't seem to care. I was just instructed to email my issue to the main site. Very disappointed overall. My best advice is to purchase this jacket from a retailer where you can clearly see the jacket was made in El Salvador. The quality in the newer jackets just is not the same.

I was very disappointed in this jacket. I have the Khumbu jacket and it is wonderful so I decided to break down and buy what I thought was the warmer version (Denali) For double the price I am not happy. This jacket is no warmer than the less expensive Khumbu. I love the colors, I got the Graphite grey heather and have got compliments the few times that I have worn it but that's about all. I would return if I had not worn 3 times. The sleeves are thin. Very disappointed in the overall jacket and value for my money!
