Just received these pants and they live up to the description, soft and comfy! They are perfect cut for just lounging around the house and are light weight but still warm. Only dislike is the draw string! I am 5'5", 135 lbs and the medium in 30" length is a perfect fit. Ordered two pair and I'm glad I did, so hard to find 'not yoga' pants, with the right length, to wear around the house.

I bought these pants to be general around the house pants and in this respect they deliver. I am 5' 8" and about 130 lbs and originally got the regular length, but the 32 inch inseam seemed very short. I went with the long and am now blissfully vegging out in my new extra snuggly pants.

Just want to thank Priscilla B for her comment - it helped me. I just want to say that I have not worn these pants. I washed them first and did they shrink after the first time. I purchased a size up, med so I could wear them over my gym clothes. I purchased short because I am only 5' tall. I discovered the short medium did run very long as commented. After the 1st washing they are 29 1/2 length now. I hope they do not shrink anymore. I did put them in the dryer.

So warm, so comfortable. I've searched for two years to replace a pair of Helly Hanson's and these North Face are it! I'm 5'5", 127 pounds and long in the waist; I bought size Small and they fit perfectly.

Super cozy and comfy! Love these and just bought another pair. Flattering fit without being tight.

I am very pleased with these fleece pants. I have them in black and grey. I bought them specifically to wear camping. My husband and I recently went to a beautiful campground that is in the mountains (literally- no reception, right beside a beautifully clear mountain water creek) and it gets very cold at night when tent camping here. I bought these to wear to bed and was nice and toasty all night and early morning when it's the coldest. They were so warm and comfy I decided to wear them all morning as we built the fire and had breakfast and put them back on in the afternoon. They kept me nice and warm even though it was cold outside. These have now officially earned the title of my "happy pants" I ordered a size Medium as I wanted them to be a little baggy. The small fit like a normal pair of pants, but I wanted a little extra comfy wiggle room so I exchanged them for medium. The band is a drawstring and I think it held pretty well.

I absolutely adore these pants! They fit so well and look so good that they can be worn to work, are dressy enough for an evening out, or just for leisure activities. The fabric is extremely soft and comfortable; they feel very light, yet are warm enough for a cold winter day. Regarding a complaint about having a drawstring: the top of the pants fits so well that they stay up without it - the tie just secures them a bit better. I have been searching for another pair, and I am excited to find them at Zappos.

Great quality and fit. I don't like pants that are tight at the waist. This tends to give me the muffin top. These pants are super flattering and comfy. For reference, I am 5'3 and 145. I carry my weight in my hips, thighs and butt. I like my pant to be a little loose. I ordered M. They are still flattering (not super baggy) yet loose.

Typical North Face. Great quality, nice comfy fabric and good fit. Runs a bit large, but that is what I want in this type of "lounge" pant. I am a 4, and the small fit with room to spare. With a pair of long johns underneath, they are ready to tackle outdoor chores around the farm. A clean pair at home in the evening, perfect!

These are the softest, most comfortable pants. Good for going to the gym in the winter or for pajama bottoms. The only issue is that they are so fuzzy and soft they attract pet hair and fuzz. I am 5'7" and weigh 136 pounds and the medium is a touch big on me.

These pants are the most comfortable ever. So soft and they wash and dry beautifully. They are my favorite casual pants.

These pants are high quality and warm. Two complaints: the drawstring string is made of a material that my skin just doesn't love. I have to make sure the drawstrings aren't against my stomach. Also - I have long legs (usually wear 31 or 32" long jeans) - and then are questionable on the length. If I have flip flops or bare feet on, they are good. If I put on tennis shoes, though, they look too short.

These are very warm and great! I am not a huge fan of the drawstring, but its no inconvenience. They are not very stylish, they are baggy, but for inside and keeping warm they are great.

Alright, these pants are the bomb! Super comfy, don't attract lint and pet hair (of which there is a lot in my house!), and the fit is perfect. I'm a size 14, 5'5" and ordered the XL - a perfect fit! Thanks Zappos, I love ya!

Super comfy pants. They don't attract too much static, like some fleece can. They're warm enough to wear outdoors in the snow, and semi water-resistant. The only downfall is that for girls with larger thighs/butts (like myself), the waistband can fall a little bit lower on the hips than you might want. Other than that, would definitely recommend.

Very soft and comfortable. I wouldn't wear these anywhere but around the house because they are not flattering to my figure. I have a bit of a flat butt and these do nothing for it but you can't beat the comfort. I'm 5'4", 125lbs, small hips and got them in small. Length is perfect.The tie waistband is nice but a little elastic would have been better. The fleece stretches throughout the day and the only thing holding them up is the string. If you're pear shaped, I think they would be the perfect pant.

Weird weird sizing! Normally, I would have ordered a M because I want these to be comfy lounge-around pants but I ordered a M and a S based on reviews saying they fit large (I am 5'6", 125 pounds). I could not tell the difference between the two sizes. The M fit fine, but so did the S. I am not a big fan of the drawstring but I could not find anything else to replace a couple of old pairs of fleece pants from Columbia.

Very warm, but not as stylish as I would have liked. They run a little big and are very long. I am 5 foot 5 inches and 125 pounds and ordered the small. Overall they are great for lounging on a cold winter's day.

These pants look and feel great--really nice material and very warm! The only problem is that I believe the cut is a little off--the sizes vary and the left leg seems to hang slightly longer than the right leg. I don't have problems with any other pants, so I don't think it's me. Because these pants are so nice, however, I'm ordering several more in hopes that I get a perfect fit--sorry Zappos. Despite some of the bad reviews, I think most people would love these pants.

Very soft - only problem is the North Face logo sewn onto the left upper thigh area - extremely itchy and bothersome as it comes all the way through the soft fabric to the inside next to your skin.

I was slightly disappointed that these pants are so thin therefore not as warm as I would have liked, but they are super soft, and I was able to get them in the short inseam. I am 5'3" so the length of pants is always A challenge honestly being the correct length is probably the main reason I kept these because as the Illinois winter gets colder these will not be warm enough.

Warm but not too warm material. Can be worn for extended periods and not just the coldest months. The sizing is a bit funky. There are some assumptions of how big of a bum one would need to fit. Luckily the drawstring is there. However, the drawstring is quite thin. Consider finding a thicker and slightly stretchy material to replace for optimum comfort. Lastly if you are into the pocketless theme then these are perfect. Otherwise if you are left handed and/or would care for front pockets then consider another trouser. Bottom line: these are warm pocketless trousers for the right handed world. Best to have some curves or fight the pattern.

There's no elastic at all in the waistband so you have to tie the drawstring if you want these to stay up, which is annoying. The material is super plush and the soft but the seams are itchy and uncomfortable. I'm returning.

I bought these and returned them. They were too big and I ordered my "usual" size. They are drawstring pants, but I was unable to make them small enough. I would say order a size smaller than you usually wear. Also as another reviewed stated these pants aren't particularly flattering, but they appeared to be soft and would keep you warm!
