Very good jacket but not as warm as I remember my last one being. It looks great and I've have various compliments on it.

It has a nice bocy fit, I'm 5'9 but muscular and the medium fits perfect but the sleeves are a bit long compared to the torso.

Excellent. As a shirt or jacket. Definitely changed since a few years ago. Better than it has been but not as good as it was in early 2000's.

Great quality, but ultimately I ended up returning it. I have another Denali 1995 style that I love so so much, so I decided to get this polartec Denali. I really liked the colorway, but this Denali felt slimmer and longer than my 1995 style, which has a boxier/roomier and more comfortable fit, in my opinion. I loved the soft feel of the polar Tex on this one, though.

I bought this item for my husband because he had one that was getting worn as it was quite old. The only issue is that the one that he has before had zippers under the arms so that you could vent the jacket if you got too warm and the material was thicker than the one I got for him. We still love the one I got him as you can tell it was a quality product, comfortable, looks good, etc.

This is a classic heavy weight, technical fleece best suited for cold temperatures. I've worn this on days when the high temperature was 15F, and was comfortable with appropriate layers underneath. This fleece is not wind resistant; in windy conditions you will need to wear a shell. The good news is that it will zip-into many of the North Face shells. As with all North Face items, all of their items tend to run small, so you may need to order the next size up from your normal size. Pit-zips are nice, but not terribly practical to use, and are useless under a shell. The two breast pockets are cavernous, perfect for stashing your cell phone, wallet, and other necessities. My only complaint is with regard to the front zipper: it's poorly made plastic/nylon. The zipper stop recently broke on my Denali after 6 months, requiring it to be sent to North Face's service center for repair. North Face stated the repair would take 6-8 weeks, but when I spoke to them last week (6 weeks after sending it to them), they said it would be an additional 4-6 weeks -- so I'm looking at 12-16 weeks for a repair of a zipper.

The coat was for my son who normally wears a medium. The coat is really nice and fit everywhere except the upper arms. There was too much fabric which made it too bulky under the arms. Maybe it would have fit better if his arms were larger.

Nice looking jacket that is warm enough for chilly desert nights. Well made, fit is true to size. The only downside is that the sleeves don't have a lot of extra room for when you need to layer. Also don't particularly like the zippers under the armpits. But overall a good find and looks like it will travel well.

These are everywhere. It puts a bad taste in my mouth for the Denali. I find that the inner material of the jacket rubs against jeans and pants and makes it look really worn and makes it pill. I am waiting for it to just get a hole there. I find that these run a little large. Wear a medium? Order a small. I also think the jacket would look a lot better if they made the North Face logo smaller.

This jacket was nice. It was just too big especially in the chest area. I sent it back for a refund!

Nice jacket, but unfortunately the zippers under the arm pits have been omitted and the press studs on the sleeves are plastic now and no longer attached as durable compared to the original jacket.

The color in person wasn't great. Plus size 3XL is too big and 2XL is too small, sucks

I bought this Denali jacket to attached it to my size S GORE-TEX Mountain Jacket. The quality was good however the size was too small for the Mountain jacket and wouldn't zip in together when mounted

Hiking, camping, general/daily wear. Worse than my old Denali. No pit zips. Restrictive tight fit. Fabric feels lower quality. Style/fashion over function.

This jacket is fine as a base layer or running to the supermarket. Unlike some older Mountain Hawrdear fleece/shells, this North Face is not lined, so is not wind resistant. Unless used a base layer, you will get cold wiring this. It could also use some inside pockets for traveling.
