Wonderful boots. I've seen some comments about the color being different than the picture here, but mine match pretty much right on. The fit is great. I'm glad I got the wides, I have pretty big feet. It was very hard to get them on at first, quite a struggle actually that took several minutes of pulling and pushing and grunting. Now, about 10 wearings later, they go on much easier. Almost without pulling.

They really are manure resistant! I make sure to wear these every time I take my dog to the dog park. Also takes a while to break them in, but that'll happen with any leather boot.

Love these boots! I'm a female with a wide foot and very high instep, and finding women's boots is always a challenge, so I gave these a try and I couldn't be more pleased. I normally wear a 10 - 10 1/2 in womens, and I ordered a 8 1/2 wide in these, and they fit perfectly. They go on with ease - which is a big plus - and they feel great. I've had them on since they arrived and they're completely comfy in every aspect. The shaft of the boot is made of a buttery soft leather, and there's plenty of room to tuck in straight jeans. I love the distressed look of the leather too. They require no breaking in, but I know they'll get more and more comfortable with time and I can already tell they'll be a go to favorite for all seasons. I can't wait to wear them with dresses in the spring. As always Zappos gets an A+! I only wish everything in the was as smooth as dealing with Zappos. I also have large calves, and it's not a problem with these boots. The shaft hits just below where the leg starts to expand, and as I mentioned before, the soft leather is ultra smooth on the leg and would be fine even without socks. Men and women with wide feet, don't hesitate if you're considering this boot. It's a winner! They do run a half size large.

Great boots. I usually wear a size 8 and bought half size smaller as recommended - fit great. Super comfortable and look great.

Great authentic boot. It's worth the money and they look and feel great. I would suggest getting this boot about a full size below your regular size. I wear 11 1/2 and have a reasonably wide foot and had to buy the 10 1/2 wide version of this.

I'll try and say something that hasn't already been said about these great boots 53 times already. The color of my pair is closer to the video description boot than it is to the Zappos picture. The distressing is also a little more subdued and even, which I think is a plus. One thing that concerned me was the "muddy sole" look -- turns out it's a salmony colored paint that's loosely brushed on the sole's surface. It's a little garish and overdone on my brand-new pair, but the good thing is that it basically rubs off; I'm sure it will be gone within a week. The soft bomber leather is nice -- allows you to get jeans with narrower leg openings over the top, if that's your thing. Just a little tight with a pair of Smartwool socks, but after a five minute walk I was happy I'd ordered a half size smaller. Five stars all the way around for me. Buy a pair and if you don't like them, I'll make sure Zappos gives you a full refund.

Amazing, awesome boot, and Zappos is the best! This is without a doubt the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. Seriously, it almost matches sneaker comfort. The leather already feels broken in and it is so soft. The arch support is great. The first time I wore them, I had them on for most of the day and I did a lot of walking. Pure comfort. I wear a 10.5 or 11. I got a 10.5 and they fit fine. I maybe could have gotten a 10, but with boot socks, a size 10 might be too tight. With socks, the 10.5 feels basically perfect. I love these boots!

An excellent boot, made with solid craftsmanship. The color of the pair I received is a little different from the pictures - less of a reddish tint and more tan or sand in color, making the boots look lighter than shown. Breaking the boots in did not take very long and I consider them one of the most comfortable boots I own. I did not, unlike over reviewers, think that they are sized too big; however, I wear wide (EE) shoes and that may make the difference.

These boots are comfortable and fit well. I initially purchased the Frye harness boot but it did not fit well because of the skinny width and the high heel. The Ariat boots are a much more relaxed boot and the distressed look goes well with jeans. The upper part of the boot is a thin leather material so it doesn't constrict your lower leg, however, it doesn't give protection from the cold. Overall a great boot for the price.

Great pair of boots! Doesn't have the "new" boot look that most all other boots have. It looks perfect with a pair of jeans. I normally wear a 10.5 so like many other reviewers suggested, I purchased a 9.5 and I'm glad I did. Perfect fit!

Best looking boot I have ever owned. I get more compliments about these boots than I could keep up with. The fit is excellent, and comfort is exceptional. I would recommend these boots to anyone thinking of buying a pair.

This is an excellent boot - I should really wait until I've had them a little longer to review but when I took them out of the box and tried them on I couldn't keep from smiling. This is truly a great looking boot - urban enough for a weekend warrior, but rugged and just great design all around. The color is excellent, and the fit is exactly what I expected (10.5 shoe, 10.5 boot with no hitches). Like any boot, they will require a bit of breaking in (only reason for 4 stars, may require an update after a few weeks). Highly recommended.

Incredibly comfortable. Bought to deal with the gumbo muck mud in South Dakota. Love the heel as is is a little more stable then traditional cowboy boots. The soft, non-ridged shaft of the boot feels better inside of pants of a leg. Highly recommended.

Boots are just as described. I went a full size smaller than normal, probably should have only went a half size smaller. I did get wide, although I typically wear normal width but do have wider feet.

Really awesome look and comfort!!! I love the look, the fact that they are so comfortable, and the way they look with boot cut jeans. The only thing bad I can say is that it really does run a half size bigger. I wear a size 10 sneaker but would have been better off getting a 9 1/2, but they still fit wonderfully!!!

Good looking boot - Boots look great with your favorite old jeans. It’s hard to figure out how to size them. I ordered a full size smaller than normal and it was still a little loose in the toe. I’m going to the shoe shop to see what to do about this. The sole works great. Comfortable and functional with the non-slip tracks on bottom.

Knockin Boots - Pretty good boot all in all. I went a half size down from my normal size (from a 10.5 to a 10) and they fit alright. The brown color on the upper portion of the boot doesn't look as dark as in the online pics, but the boot still looks sharp.

Nice Boot - This is a nice looking boot. A little tight at first, but is breaking in pretty well.

Love the style. Overall 4 stars. The size runs smaller than stated. 13 Wide is not as wide as you think. It’s still overly tight at the top of the foot and on the sides of my feet. I had to remove the support insole to actually have it fit my foot in the boots but now they’re just uncomfortable and tight on the sides of my feet. Can’t return it because it was a gift given to me without receipt and the original box was tossed.

Wow I wanted these to work out, but it wasn't the case. They looked a lot cheaper in real life than the photo. That wasn't so bad but I wear a 9 wide and i ordered a 9ee. It fit like an 8 regular. I was immediately in pain. And then there was little if any support. I don't know how a larger size would feel.

Great looking boot however they did not work out for me. I have a flat foot and ordered the EE size. But when walking in them the boot broke right across my toes and pinched them. I have had this problem with other boots before so it is more a function of how my foot is then it is of this boot. Very comfortable otherwise and I would recommend them but if you have a flat foot just be aware of this problem.
