My husband LOVES these boots! He has worn them almost every day since he got them and claims they are super comfortable to wear. ( this is coming from a very picky person that never buys shoes online and has a hard time with boots due to very wide feet). Personally I like the way they look on him... Very stylish and fashionable without too much of a country vibe.

Love the boots, fit is very accurate, they are as comfortable as my running shoes! Of course Zappos customer service is great!

Very happy with the look and feel of this boot. Earth Brown color looks great, and is more comfortable than I expected for a boot of this type thanks to the very good sole (although obviously these aren't going to have the comfort level of sneakers). Appears to be a high quality product. Only minus is that the width felt a little narrow (although I have wide feet). However, after a few days the leather stretched and they fit quite well. Also, the heel is a little loose, but because the width fits well, it doesn't bother me. Overall, very satisfied.

I heeded everyone's warning and bought a size 11 instead of a 12. They are perfect in every way. I'm a lifetime horseman and know boots. I only wear these to work, not the barn. I like them too much to get them barn funked. Quiet boot to walk in on any surface, huge plus. Just a great boot, no drawbacks whatsoever.

Ordered normal size and ended up exchanging for a size smaller. Love the broken in look. Zappos made the exchange process easy!

Boots came in two days. Ordered an 11 and it was too big as most reviews suggest. Called customer service and they had a 10.5 at my door less than 24 hours later. The boots are awesome - and so is Zappos and their customer service team!

Without a doubt, the single best looking pair of boots I've ever bought. Great, great style. And after replacing the relatively cheap and flimsy insole, which is my only complaint, they fit like gloves and wore like tennis shoes. Well broken within the week. Recommended.

These boots look really amazing. Brand new but looking like they have been used for years rounding up cattle. They are very comfortable and have a really nice sole for getting around in.

I bought these for my boyfriend who's just starting to get into the country scene. He absolutely loves these. Yes, there really isn't a lot of ankle support but he wears them casually and actually prefers this. He wanted a cow boy boot that didn't look like a cow boy boot and these are perfect. He can wear them with jeans and it looks like a great shoe to wear out. As for fit, he says they fit true to size and are extremely comfortable.

In this review I will address what seems to be the main issues mentioned in the reviews I read before deciding to order these boots: functionality, styling, sizing. Functionality and Style: For the reasons mentioned below, these boots deserve top rating, in my opinion; but it is important to dispell one myth up front: The Ariat Ariat Rambler is not a boot; it is a shoe disguised as a boot. One need recognize this before ordering, or he is likely to be disappointed. For someone looking for a boot to do what a boot is desiged to do, this shoe will prove to be a poor choice. For any real work, as one reviewer pointed out- there just is no ankle support; the boot shaft is not made of still, boot weight leather, but garment gauge instead: the shaft is floppy from ankle up- not at all adequate for protection and durability in heavy construction, logging, or farm/ranch type work. But if you are looking, as i was, for a summer after-hours boot [warm weather attire] to slip into when relaxing or on trips to town- and if, as on many of those occasions, appearance is a consideration- this boat will serve that job well. It is a cool boot ["cool" in sense of temperature] given the light weight uppers; it is comfortable for relaxing and for town. But I'd like to emphasize again, please: one would not want to have to work in these, or even walk too far]. As nearly all reviewers I've read here seem interested in looks as primary concern-this boot will do the job as well as any and better than most [depending on your taste]. This is not though, a multi-service boot. Let the fact that most reviews talk primarily about looks serve as fair-warning. If you are looking for a real boot- this is absolutely not it. My work boots, as are those of most, i would imagine, are too mucked up for polite society- and due to location, I don't really have any boots that don't have a degree of insulation, as in my location even in summer you don't want to go to the field on a 12 hour shift without a change of socks and a good boot; it's better to have sweaty feet than frozen ones. But when get back for the evening, it is discourteous to work inside- work boots should be left at the door- so what to slip into for "after hours" on warm summer evening or day off? My answer to that question is to give this boot 5 stars. Sizing: Advise anyone new to western wear to read about fit or see one of the many videos available on the net about how to size a western boot- if you view any Justin Boot on the Zappos site, you will find a link to a good two minute long overview. But many reviewers here remark that these boots seem to run large. This is true, sort of: all western boots are designed for the widest part of foot to fit in widest part of boot; for this to work, often one finds that if a boot feels too snug, rather than order a half size larger, he will likely have more success by trying a half size smaller. A Western boot has to fit snug just above/along arch, as this is what keeps the boot on your foot- but it should not hurt, even during break-in. If it hurts, feel where widest part of your foot is inside the boot- you may find, widest part of your foot is aft of widest part of boot. If so, try a half size smaller: better would be to order a half size smaller than your usual footwear: yes, they run large compared to other styles of footwear, but this is actually "true to size" when ordering Western boots.

Took a few tries to get my size right. (1st time my fault, second time packing flub.) But at a half size down, these boots are awesome. My wife thinks I was kidding when I told her I'm wearing these puppies to bed. Big thanks to Zappos for their swiftness in gettin'er done.

What a great boot! It's just a little long for my size. The width is spot on. I'm ordering the next half size down and I can't wait for them to get here!

My husband purchased these boots and he loves them! They are soft and comfortable and he gets many compliments when he wears them. Note these boots do not stand on their own - they are floppy.

I wear a bona fide size 15 and was nervous about trusting all the previous reviews saying to order a full size smaller. In fact, I just had to return two "size 15" orders for fitting way too tight for a 15D (Nike Free Trainer 5.0 and Asics Gel Fortius). But there were so *many* reviews saying to order the Ariat Rambler a full size down, I went ahead and gambled and ordered the 14. Glad I did! The "14" fits my size 15 foot perfectly. By the way, this boot is really, really cool looking, and feels built to last.

I was a little skeptical about purchasing footwear online but was pleasantly surprised when I received my new boots earlier than expected. They look, fit and feel awesome. The style and comfort are exactly what I hoped for. I will definitely be using Zappos in the future.

Great casual boot. Very comfortable but had to go to a EE because the D (my normal width) was too tight across the instep. Great service and delivery. Might need to get a pair in black.

If you are buying this boot for riding, or at all for that matter, DO NOT listen to the comments about ordering a full size smaller. If you are buying these boots to look cool at the bar then get what you want, but if you plan to get them for what they are made for trust in Arait on the size, they make awesome riding boots. Haven't gone riding in them yet just worn them around the barn and they feel just right. And yeah, they do look cool out of the box, but they look even better with some muck on 'em. Trust the manufacturer, not the comments (I guess not even me then? Yeah I dunno how to help you figuring that one out).

Great boots. Overall, I would highly recommend them. I did order them a size small based on the other reviews. I was nervous about this but it turned out to be the exact right fit. The boots do look slightly more western than I had anticipated given the stitching on the top of the toe but I'm very happy with the fit and look.

I wear a size 13 in about everything... besides these. I first ordered, the 13s because the 12s were out of stock... and like everyone else has had that were really sloppy on me. Next shipping on the return order for 12s and they fix perfectly!

Shipping as fast as ever. These are great boots, very comfortable and light. Wore them from 10 AM until 10 PM walking around local festival events and felt great all day. I normally wear EEE these came in EE and they fit fine. Other guys have actually noticed these and come on guys don't do that.

Great looking boot and is very comfortable. I just bought three pairs of boots. I got a 11.5 Frye Harness boot that fit to size. The Ariat is extremely off as far as size. I had to exchange the boot three times to get the right size. I ended up getting it in a size 10. I guess that tells you how much I like the boot.

I absolutely love these boots! They fit perfectly the first time with no breaking in. I use them for work and they are incredibly comfortable to work and stand in all day. I get lots of compliments!

Love these boots. Bought them for work (I bartend and need a slight heel to help my back). I get compliments all the time and they are comfy enough to wear for a 14 hour shift.
