I bought these boots for my husband, who has extremely flat feet. He says they are the first cowboy-style boots he's ever been able to wear for more than 20 minutes! There is not a high arch and the square toe helps. He says they are comfortable, and I think they look great too. The leather seems really nice so far. They do run very large; my husband normally wears a 10.5 normal width, but in these he is wearing a size 9.5 wide.

These boots are great! I had to order three pair to get the size right, but it was worth it. I think there is some variability in the make (as far as sizing). I usually wear and 11 but I ended up with a 10EE (wide). The boxed toe leaves a ton of room for your piggies and the 10.5 felt more narrow than the 10? Overall...look awesome, feel awesome, and I think my testosterone level increased after just wearing them around the house!

We love the aged look and the patina of these boots. My husband has even complimented himself 2 times since I gave them to him - which he never does. He said they feel really good on his feet, easy to get on/off and true to size. I had them the day after I ordered them. Thanks Zappos! I have been a happy customer for 7 plus years now.

I bought these boots roughly 6 years ago while visiting a cousin in TX. I'm a New Yorker and can tell you these boots are near flawless in design, wearability, comfort, and quality! I wear them with pretty much everything (or, I can wear them with anything). The square toe, as opposed to the pointed toe, is an aesthetic element more traditional to a "cowboy" boot that allows this boot to be extremely versatile. There's only the hint of intentional design alteration with the three stitched lines on the top which add that necessary flare, but in reality actually give the entire upper boot reinforced support = functionality = the reason this was done in the beginning. This boot can be worn on a 'real' cowboy working a ranch in Somewheresville, Montana or be worn by anyone in midtown Manhattan, or everything in between, and never look out of place (I speak from personal experience to the latter)! The more one wears this boot the better it looks and the more comfortable it feels. Over time, as with any leather-made article of clothing, the boot forms to your foot and walking disposition. As with all full-top grain leather, it takes on the shape of the wearer...almost like skin...because leather is skin. As for the overall design: it's, as I began saying, near flawless. I only use "near" as it's difficult to declare anything flawless but having said that, I have yet to discover a flaw at all. As a designer myself, I can assure you this is the only western boot available on the market today which represents an authentic cowboy boot: style, design, simplicity, and functionality. It is the spoon of all design! If you're looking at western/cowboy boots and haven't made a decision yet, you'd be foolish to choose any other! Whom ever was the designer for this boot at Ariat, I first thank you, and it should be known that you deserve a design award...literally.

This was the first pair of "cowboy boots" that I have ever owned. It took me a while to find a style that I liked. I ordered a size 10½ and 11 because that is the range of all my other shoes. I read somewhere to go with a snug fit because of stretching, so I did. These boots feel awesome after some wear (7 to 10 days). I wear them much more than I thought I ever would.

This is a really great boot. Wouldn't expect anything less from Ariat. Leather quality is great comfort is great. I can stand all day on concrete floors and not have heel pain. I would definitely recommend this boot to anyone looking for a nice boot in between dress and casual.

Ordered Monday, arrived Thursday. I love these boots! I love the distressed leather...looks like I have had them forever. Already got a compliment. I am wearing jeans and they look and feel great. I am wearing normal socks and got size 10 because everyone said get a smaller size because they run large. Well, I am between a 10 and 11 so got the 10...almost got the 9. Glad I didn't. I would say if you wear 2 sizes depending on the type of shoe, then definitely go to the lower size. But don't go crazy and go way down sizes. They fit awesome. Going to wineries this weekend and can't wait to wear these! So glad I bought these!
