I've now had these boots for 9 years, and I'm not kidding, they're the most comfortable things I've ever had on my feet. I can wear them for a 10-12 hour day, and I feel like I'm cheating. Like I'm wearing slippers or sneakers at work. The secret is to keep them conditioned and waxed. Wax/waterproof 'em. It's worth it. Every time I put these boots on, they get more and more comfortable. I bought new inserts about a year ago, and although I thought it wasn't possible that these things could ever get more comfortable, here we are, and I just keep falling in love again. I. Love. These. Boots. I look forward to my next pair of Ariats, but I just don't see it happening anytime soon. Buy 'em. Condition 'em. Wax 'em. You'll love 'em! Oh, yeah. Wear 'em with jeans, and they look cool as hell.

The finest western boots I have ever owned. I love them! Note that although I've reviewed mine as being slightly larger and slightly narrower than I'd expected, it's still a great fit for me. Regarding width, my feet are very slightly narrow than the average "D"; in that sense, these boots feel bespoke. And because that width is perfect and the arch is excellent, the slight amount of additional size (length) isn't at all a problem. In short, I'd buy them again, and in the same size to boot! (Pun intended.)

My first pair of cowboy boots and I love them

So this is my first purchase of a cowboy / western style boot ever. I have several pairs of boots and this is by far the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. More comfortable than some of my shoes. I am normally a size 10 - 101/2 and have a wide foot. Ordered a 9 1/2 EE and they are perfect!!!. They look classy and serious at the same time. I have worn them out to dinner and a baseball catch with my son and they feel amazing! Highly recommended, I will be buying a second pair in the fall. Order a 1/2 size larger and a wider width if you want some additional room in the toe box without swimming in them.

Usually take 9 W. Felt ok , but heal slipped and went on too easy. Ended up with 8.5 W. Snug, but better fit

Order the boot 1/2 size smaller than usual and you will have a perfect fit. Boots once broke in feel like bedroom slippers they are very comfortable and prefer to wear more often then tennis shoes.

This will be my third pair of these boots, I love them!

First of all Zappos is amazing!! They are so accommodating with my return and exchange. I bought two pair as gifts for my husband and son. Both needed a full size smaller than their tennis shoe size.
