Cute, but uncomfortable - I wanted a cute flat that could stand up to lots of walking, but this doesn't quite cut it. The leather really digs into the back of my heels and rubbed them raw. After I healed, I decided to try those padded cushions you can stick in the heel of your shoes which have done wonders! I can actually wear these and walk in them, too! I love the kind of marbled pattern on the leather, it is very unique. They go great with casual dresses, pants, and jeans.

Reason why I wear Clarks - My orthopedic surgeon recommended Clarks around 4 years ago due to arthritis in my knees. Wearing Clarks has helped me and they are really comfortable.

Not as comfortable as I had hoped... The leather doesn't give much so there was around the heel and top of my foot the shoe cut in after wearing them (and walking a lot) for hours. Cute shoe, though!

Great shoes, but a little tight - These shoes are very cute and got me a lot of compliments. Unfortunately, they also got me a few blisters. They were a little snug in the toe area and ended up rubbing.

Nice but wide - I like the shoe and its look. However, the shoe is too wide.

Nice casual shoe - This is a nice business casual-type shoe. I got the narrow and it felt a little wider than a typical narrow, but with a foam insole it is ok.

Cute shoe - I found these shoes to be really cute. Not as comfortable as some of my Clarks, they rub on my heel. I like that I can wear them casual or dressier.

Comfortable and suit the purpose - I am 8 months pregnant and found the need to purchase "comfy flats" merely out of necessity. My mother often speaks highly of Clarks for these reasons and low and behold, she was right. I suppose most folks would consider these to be quite lovely. They aren't my "style" per say, but suit the purpose either way.

I thought they were a little ugly at first but I like them. Great shoes - I bought them thinking they were a little ugly, but overall like them. I wear them around the office on days where I don't want to wear heels, but they look nicer than flats. A little snug, but I think the leather hasn't been fully broken in yet. Look great with chinos.

Neat style - The styling of the shoe is very nice; especially the way the sides dip down in a v-shape...it makes it a little more than just basic. I also like the heel height, which is slightly more than a flat, making it look dressier, yet does not make you feel like you're wearing heels. However, the sizing of this shoe is strange. I first ordered it in a 7 W, but it was way too long and the heel slipped. I usually wear a 7W or 7.5W, so I was hesitant about trying it in a half-size smaller (6.5W). I did however and the length was on the verge of being too short, but my heel no longer slipped. I decided to keep it since I like the style and the support. I think it is stretching a little but my toes still touch the front. The bottom line is that do try it if you have moderately wide feet, but you may have to experiment with the sizing.

Beautiful shoe but didn’t fit - I usually fit fine into my size but this one slipped right off when I walked and was very uncomfortable in the back. But it’s too bad because I really like the look.

Good, basic pump - I have bad feet, suffer from plantar fasciitis and have a small bunion on my left foot. My left foot is about 1/4 size larger than my right foot. With all these issues, that's why I buy Clarks even though they are pricey. I was looking for a good pump to wear with skirts. The Aurora is a good shoe. My toes are a bit squished at the top of the shoe but I expect they will stretch over time. They are comfortable in the heel and ball of the foot and that's the most important part for me. These shoes are too conservative looking for me, but I bought them for comfort, not to be a fashionista. I also wish they came in shiny patent leather! Wouldn't that be cute? But they are a good, solid, wearable pump and I am satisfied. They can also accommodate over-the-counter heel pads and arch supports.

Aurora - A Great Shoe - I love this shoe. It looks great and is very comfortable. The height of the heel is perfect. It does feel a little bigger in the heel area but with a thicker sock it is no problem.

Almost Perfect! This shoe is a great, versatile shoe. It looks better in person than the picture and is very comfortable. It's only draw back is that it doesn't grab well at the heel and needs a grip to keep the shoe from slipping slightly at the heel.

Practical and comfortable - This shoe was comfortable from the second I put it on. The first time I wore it I was on my feet all day at work and stayed comfortable. To me, the style is just ok. I purchased the shoe for the comfort and it looks best with long pants covering it. The dark brown is also an interesting, almost two tone that you can't really see from the picture.

This shoe slipped a little in the heel. I needed to get those heel grip stick-on things. It seems fine with that.

Comfort and utility - This is a good shoe when an occasion calls for tailored yet a bit dressy. Fits the niche! Also, very sturdy and comfortable for being on your feet for hours! A winner in all of the above circumstances.

Great Pump - This is a remarkably comfortable and well-padded dress shoe. It looks and feels like it is high quality. However, it is a little bit long.

An interesting little shoE - Nothing flashy, but it has some interesting style - especially the slight flare to the heel. Love the color.

Yes and No - Regarding the Clarks Aurora, they're pretty to look at, nice heel height, good grip... but the fit is pretty strange. Like so many others have said, the heel truly does slip. Ten minutes before leaving the house, I went scrounging for heel pads (the kind that adhere to the inside top of the heel back) but couldn't find them, and, of course, needed to wear the shoes at that very moment. So off I went but found myself wrapping Kleenex in the back of the heel. Rearranged it later. Added more on the way to lunch. Rearranged that under the table in a restaurant. Then carefully walked out, keeping my foot positioned so I didn't walk out of the shoe!! I really don't think I need an 8 1/2; that would be too small, but b/c my foot tended to slide forward, that created a gap b/n my heel and the back of the shoe. I will buy the heel-holder pads (what are they called!?) and hope they're sufficient to keep these shoes on my feet. My other Clarks don't fit like this. Why did they mess these up so much? It's disappointing. Buyer, definitely beware in this case. This shoe looks great on, is, for the most part, comfortable to wear (no pinching around the toes and it didn't dig at all, on me anyway) but you'll likely have to deal w/ the back slipping. I think they're worth purchasing, but expect some issues with the heel. I'm still hoping I can resolve this and enjoy wearing this shoe.

Cute but heel issue - Zappos is the best on-line company ever. Ordered these on Saturday at 3, got them on Monday at lunch time. The shoe is adorable, and it goes with everything. However, I wore all day (walked 30 m and then around the office, and I developed huge blisters on the top of my heel). I took it to a cobbler, and he beat on the leather a bit - it is much better. I also bought cushioned heel pads - they seem a lot more comfortable now. I also got a blister on the top of one of my toes, due to the criss-cross stitching. But they look great, and they are more comfortable than many shoes I own.

Aurora review - I have only worn the shoes a few times since I purchased them. They seem well made and the comfort is OK. They seem a bit stiff but hopefully the feel will soften. I am a fan of Clarks shoes so I have high expectations.

A nice shoe with slacks - It is a very comfortable shoe. Of six pair that I ordered a few weeks ago I had to return four for a 1/2 size larger. This may represent my use of thong type shoes all summer that allowed my feet to spread. So, if you did not do that, your regular shoe size will probably be fine.

Great look but less comfort than most Clarks - This is a terrific dress shoe that I wish had better arch support. Adding one makes the shoe tighter than I'd like, but given the style I wanted to keep it.

Makes my big foot look cute! Nice looking and can wear with pants or a skirt. I wear a AAA, so these are a little wide for me, but I think I can get by with them. They don't have a whole lot of padding, but they're more comfy than high heels. If you have low anklebones like me, you may have some rubbing. I wear a 12, and these shoes really do look cute...that's quite a feat!
