There just is never a surprise with Zappos and Josef Seibel shoes. Both are the essence of quality, comfort and dependability. This is my 4th pair from The Z, and they are wear easy right out of the mailbox. My sensitive feet never complain as the soft leather lining is comfortable from the moment they are strapped on. I take size 10 B, and these shoes are true to size. Try 'em; I'm betting you'll love yours as much as I love mine.

The Debra is a great shoe, well built and comfortable. I wear Narrow and they only come in Medium, but because you can adjust the two upper straps, they become a perfect fit for a narrow foot. And 40 is the right length for a size 9. I can't wear a shoe with high arch support, and this shoe's moderate arch support is perfect. The Debra is the newer version of the Ailene, also a great shoe and long lasting. In contrast the Josef Seibel Georgia and Gracia styles felt flat and not so well built. I tried several Noat sandals as well, and needed a 41 for my size 9, but without adjustable straps in every direction, the medium was too loose.

I usually wear a size 8, but these run big. I am exchanging them for a 7 1/2 and hoping they fit better.

I have worn this sandal for several years as purchased in its original issue (buckle back strap, more rounded toe, different/thinner sole), and it is definitely long-lasting and comfortable for just about any activity! With this new style, I prefer the padded back strap and at first, thought the arch support better, but after wearing it for long periods, have noticed aching arches -- appears related to the sandals, but could be something else... Did not have this problem with my first 2 pairs of original-design sandals by Josef Seibel.

The only problem with these sandals is the exposed stitching on the footbed, which irritates my skin. Wearing these sandals with thin socks would solve that problem, but would not look great with shorts or skirts. I would not call these sandals stylish, but that is not why I bought them.

I already own one pair of Josef Seibel sandals and can attest to their comfort and durability. This style (which I ordered in black), however, arrived with details unlike the photo on the website. The website showed a tan footbed and tan top-stitching. The sandals I received had a black footbed and white stitching. These were also a little big for my size 5 foot. I had to return them.

I really wanted these to work. Nice style, lots of support and cushioning. Very adjustable. ONly thing- there's a point bit in the back that cuts under the ankle bone. MIght suit someone else's foot better. Too bad. Sending back.

I love the style of these shoes and that they have leather linings. They are so comfortable but I've only had them for 5 weeks and both the toe and heel are wearing down. I had taps put on. I am 5'7 and weigh 170 and I walk a lot but still. I've never had a shoe wear down so fast.

I really liked the ways these looked, until I put them on my feet. The straps are just way too side for my tastes. And the back band just seemed to rub my heal a bit too much to be comfortable. The footbed is also weird feeling. It does not feel solid beneath my heel. So, I am sending these back.
