Usually wear a size 7. Ordered 38 and returned for 37. Still have room at the heel and in front of my toes. So comfortable. After wearing flat shoes for a week and then switching to my Birkenstock’s, my feet and legs never felt better.

Birkenstock sandals NEVER disappoint! I truly suffer when I try to wear something else.

I wear a 6.6 or 7 but for some reason I need a 36 for this brand which is marked as 5-5.5 in US sizes. I will order one size down if you are going by the chart.

I teach on my feet all day and buy a new pair each year. They are such foot savers!

I love these shoes and the color, golden brown is just a little dressier than some of the other choices. There was no break in required and they provide good support to my senior feet. I am getting away from flip flop styles and looking for something that is more secure on my feet. These shoes do the job! I feel that they look good on my feet and I love the toe loop. There is no irritation at all, which I thought could be a problem. I went with the suggestion of Zappos and got a smaller size than I might have as they do run a little large. The suggested size fits perfect! All in all a great purchase.

I absolutely love these sandals! My first pair of Birkenstock’s were the ones made for water. I have very narrow feet and I was pleasantly surprised some of the styles come in narrow. I never wear sandals that go between the toes, but these are amazing!

38's fit my size 8.5 feet. I don't understand the sizing recommendation they have listed.

This is my second pair of Mayari's. The shoe style is fantastic, I rarely wear my other sandals because these are just so comfortable. It's actually a little bit of a problem because I have started to wear them places where I should probably choose a dressier shoe, but that's my problem and not the shoes. The leather straps have taken a little bit more effort to break in (the first pair I bought was the Mocha Birkibuc) but hasn't been too bad.

The MAYARI are the most versatile and stylish of the Birkenstock family. The 2 straps are adjustable so if you need a little more room or the opposite need to make the sandals more snug. The black MAYARI are your sandals version of the LBD. I now have these in a metallic fuchsia, silver and black. These also come in a variety of textures.

I’ve worn Birks for decades; 5 decades to be exact and I love these Birks too. Yes, I do get gentle good natured teasing from my grown up kids. However, most of them wear Birks too!

I have another pair of Birkenstock’s, so I already know what size I needed. Love these because they feel secure on my foot! Bought them for a europe trip.

I received these yesterday - put them on and wore them for several hours. I am so glad that I tried them. I’ve looked at them before but doubted they would fit my short wide foot with a high arch and short toes! (I have a few issues) I have several pair of birkis. Some size 37 some 36. I tried the 37 and they were too long, the 36 fit perfectly. Both straps are in the last hole for the buckle but they’re fine. They also make my foot look narrower which is a nice bonus - a “dressier” looking birki. In other shoes I often look for a WIDE. So if you have a wide foot, these are worth a try!

I normally wear a women’s 11 and I ordered the 42. Fits perfectly, no room to spare. I almost ordered the narrow based on reading reviews but I’m glad I didn’t (it wasn’t available anyway). I’ve been wearing them around the house to break them in otherwise I would definitely get blisters from the straps. Super cute and I’m excited to have something other than a pure flip-flop.

I love my new sandals. Definitely try them in in the store before buying because I am a size 6 and had to order a size down (36). They are really comfortable out of the box. If you have wide feet, order the regular size.

i have been wearing birkenstocks for twenty-five, even when they are not in style because they are really well made sandals. i ordered my usual size 40 and they fit true to size. i like the licorice color and the style is really cute. i have high arches and these shoes are so comfortable i can walk around for hours in them with no discomfort. sometimes it takes a little bit of time to break them in mold to your feet but i did not find these needed to be broken in. they were comfortable from the first time i wore them.

Perfect! I have very wide feet and was worried that the toe strap would be too tight or uncomfortable. As usual fit is great, and I didn’t need to compensate with sizing. I have the same size in this version as I do with my other Birks.

I have a pair of Mayari in the Birkibuc material in Stone color that I love. (Thanks Zappos!) I wanted a black pair and liked the black buckles, so I ordered these in black Birko-Flor, however, I found that material to be too stiff---almost sharp---around the edges near my big toe. Returning for that reason. I guess I will have to stick to Birkibuc or their natural leathers.
