I Love Birkenstocks.. I wear a 38 in all my other Non-Birkenstock shoes. For Birkenstocks I needed 37. Keep this in mind when ordering. Even other open toe'd sandals were 38's.

These sandals needed to be broken in. Or maybe it was just my first time wearing Birkenstocks. The natural leather feels great once it's a little softer. I did have trouble with the sole cracking on the sides - again, maybe I'm just not used to taking care of them properly. But it did tend to crack where it bent. Sole molded quickly to my foot. Sandal goes with most everything and is very comfortable.

Love the color (Habana Oiled Leather) such a rick color and it ages beautifully. It develops a lovely patina shine. Great arch support. This is the first pair of Birks that I've ever purchased. I did a lot of research on the brand, and have family members that wear other birkenstock models, so I thought hey why not give it a go, especially since I started dealing with plantar fasciitis pain. These really have been a godsend in that respect. You have to have a lot of patience and dedication, as it truly does take longer than most shoes to break in. On my left foot, the toe bar sometimes bothers me as it hits in the middle of my big toe. Not related to that, I had to drill extra holes in the straps to make them fit a little better. I do wish I'd waited a bit longer on purchasing since the price dropped though, especially since I've had to try to made them fit better on my own. I paid 125, and now its 99 on here so wish I would have waited for the lower price. I feel like overall these shoes are a good investment, and have even purchased the Birkenstock EVA foam shoes.

Great fit and support. I've suffered from heel pain in the past due to unsupportive flip flops. These are super comfortable and supportive.

My first pair of Birkenstocks and I love them! Hooked on the comfort. I am 6.5 medium usually, I bought 37 Narrow and they feel great. I never buy a narrow width but I read Birkenstocks tend to run wide so I am glad I tried them. Wore them all summer! Looking for a winter pair now.

OUCH!! Did not fit me through middle of my foot. Kept loosening straps but to no avail? When One model of Birkenstocks is available in my size I am hoping it will work. I have signed up to be notified when it comes in. Had high hopes that maybe Birkenstocks would work for me? Thank you Zappos for having such a great selection for me to choose from and for being so patient with me.

I think they're pretty close to the size I expected. Recommended by a friend of mine who has foot problems....she owns them in every color. So, I have foot problems, too, so I thought I'd try them. They seem great. I can't comment on durability, but so far so good.

Finally replaced some older Birks after wearing them through a pregnancy and walking many miles/years in them. Love the style and the color of these! I’m going through breaking them in right now, so they’re not terribly comfortable yet and make my feet ache a bit. Make sure you give any new Birks time to mold to your feet and don’t wear them for too long at once until that happens.

These are very comfy out of the box. The Birko floor straps are really comfortable; there is no break-in period. I love the color, and was having a hard time between this olive green color, and black.

This is my second pair of these, absolutely love the sandal.

My first pair of Birkenstock - LOVE them. So comfortable! I have a narrow foot and they fit perfectly. Usually wear a 7 1/2 - 8 in regular shoes; got the 38 and it was a great fit. I will definitely buy Birkies in the future. Age 73

The Mayari is the only Birk that is really just perfect for my feet. Balance, arch support, comfort and placement of leather between my toes is exactly what my feet and knees need! As winter approached my dread of putting away my Mayari Birks grew. Every year I struggle in winter to find something as comfortable to wear inside and out when it is not raining or snowing. Bare toes in the winter just don’t work! This year I found a perfect the V-toe sock that I can wear with all my Mayari Birks. I am delighted! I have boots for snow and rain, but all the rest of the time I can now wear these Birkenstock!

These guys have held up well. Everyone told me they'd be the most comfortable sandal ever, and they are fine, just not mind-blowingly so.

I love these sandals. The style is more delicate than other Birkenstock sandals (I have two other styles) . I wear a size 8.5 in most shoes but a 38 fits me best in all Birkenstock sandals. That size is supposed to be for 7-7.5, but I always have to size down for this brand.

My absolute favorite pair of shoes. I love birks and would wear these year round if I could. My feet feel so good in these and never ache after a longer day of wearing them.

These are my favorite shoes ever. I've literally clocked hundreds of miles in them over 2 summers and I continue to wear them until it is below 30 degrees and I just can't. My daughter has the same pair. After about a year of constant over-use and wear, her toe strap popped out. I used gorilla glue to re-stick and it continues to hold.

I got tired of wearing sandals that hurt my feet and decided to finally splurge on a pair of Birks. I’m so glad I did! I wear them all the time. They’re so comfortable. I got them in a narrow because I have terribly skinny feet and they fit perfectly which makes me think I should go narrow more often.

Classic comfort and style. Modern twist. Stay on feet well- no flip, flopping. Allow your feet to breathe widthwise! These are absolutely a staple in my wardrobe.

Once you break them in (wear a few times), they are THE most comfortable, versatile shoe! I wear them everywhere!
