The straps between the toes rubs the underside of my toes.I had to return these shoes.

Love this sandal. Have in multiple colors. Hold up well for everyday use.

These would get 5 stars and I would have been deliriously happy but they are HUGE. Absolutely stupidly HUGE. These are supposed to be a size 4 ladies. They are much closer to a size 6 ladies. They would have been PERFECT and I'm at a loss as to why Birkenstocks insists on making gunboats instead of shoes, or at least sizing them correctly. These are a 35 Euro which should be a perfect fit. Ha. Zappos - why not resize these so they are conform roughly to reality?

Terrible. I can't return them because they've been worn. It's my sixth pair of birks and I'm not sure if I'll ever get them again. The right one is so narrow the outside of my foot is in severe pain after a short time and the left one hurts the inside of my foot. I've never had any issues in the past. I don't know what's wrong with this pair. Since I have gotten birks before I just adjusted the straps and wore them out. I'm so bummed out very disappointing and such a waste of that much money.

Very very disappointed. After less than 4 months or wear the sole is cracking. I've had $10 shoes last longer. Complete waste of money.

I wanted to like these so bad but unfortunately they were not comfortable. The high arch / bump in the middle of the shoe was painful. I don't know how anyone can tolerate it. I loved the style but was also not impressed with the comfort of the foot bed. It was very stiff. I ended up trying out another brand called MEPHISTO and I love those! Very comfortable foot bed that is made up o f a cork bed but with a memory foam type of material on the top. Very comfortable right out of the box. I really dont understand how these shoes got such good reviews. They were not comfortable for me at ALL! OUCH!

Because I have small feet (size 5-5.5) wearing the Mayari required going up to the 36. It says that the 36 is equivalent to 5-5.5, but the shoe is much larger than that. Unfortunately, this sandal does not come in a 35, which would be perfect. It would be awesome if Birkenstock made the mayari either in a 35, or in a kids' size (34) that would fit my feet.

These were so uncomfortable. Sent back.

I have owned over 10 birki's in my life. I did not like the footbed or the material on the top straps. And the fit was way off.

This "new" leather Burkinstoc Burkibuc and Burki Flor is total Bullcrap! While I'll admit I am hard on my sandles, I've never worn out a pair of Burks in 9 months. I live in Florida and have been wearing Burks since 1989. I would like Burkenstock to think about offering an new option and that is letting the customer pick not only the style and size but how about the material it is made of!! I cannot wear plastic on my feet and do not wish to wear bright floral shoes and if it costs more to get attractive Nubuck leather in a quiet stone colored leather than let the customer decide if they will pay for it!! I'm am seriously thinking about going to another brand.

Last summer, I wore these sandals for a couple of months. They were super comfy, but the cork was disintegrating and zappos kindly replaced them. This summer, I wore the replacement pair every day beginning in June. The sole and cork is completely worn down in several sections of each sandal, the largest strap one sandal had come unglued from the side, and the toe strap fell out of the bottom of the shoe and I had to cut it out. I have worn them pretty much every day for a few months, but I am very disappointed in how quickly they fell apart. They are great to walk in, look cute, and make my feet feel good, but I'm surprised by the poor quality of the shoe. I don't know if Birkenstock has recently started manufacturing their sandals in a different way or something, they used to hold up better than this. Very disappointing for a $90 shoe to fall apart in so many ways.

I love these shoes and this is my third pair. Unfortunately, the cork on these cracked already. I have had them since April only and not worn them every day by a long shot. So, this is a big disappointment.

I think that you price them way to high for a pair of shoes. You shoes either give discounts or coupons because I will not pay for a pair of shoes that are 100$ for my child to where around school and then come home with blistards on her feet because they rubbed her feet when she walked. Your shoe is ridicualus. This is a brand I will not buy again from.

I'm the outlier here to give bad feedback on this style. Sorry! I had these less than 6 weeks and the cork cracked on both shoes at the criss cross strap. :( Zappos rushed me a replacement (you can't beat their service anywhere) but I didn't wear them because I wanted to look more into the reviews on this style and contact Birkenstock for info. I met FOUR women at a conference with black leather Mayari and all had the same cracks on both shoes! Birkenstock said it can happen but not always and they felt it depended on the foot and how the shoe wears. Anyway, Zappos has graciously let me send the unworn Mayari replacements back for Arizona. I liked the more feminine look of Mayari but evidently it has some issues with that strap location. Just a warning! The shoes are adorable and SOOOOO comfy. I can't even say enough how much I loved them and my disappointment in the cork issue. I will live in Birks from Zappos for the rest of my life ����������

Cute but the straps on these are too short. SERIOUSLY short. As in you must be kidding me, or how would you expect anyone to wear these sandals short. Returning these promptly.

These run huge! I have no idea where everyone is getting the "true to size" idea. I am a 7 in every single type of shoe, ordered a 6-6.5 to be safe, and they are still at least an entire size too big. The 6.5-6 fits my roommate who is a size 8.

THESE ARE TWO SIZES TOO BIG! So annoying! I am always an 8. So, I ordered a 39, as indicated in their sizing for 8-8.5. That was huge, so I tried a 38. Still at least an inch too big. I'm returning these and will be buying them from a store.

I wore this for about an hour and they are so hard my back started hurting badly. It is now 7 days later and now I need to go to the doctor to get my back straightened out. I have worn this brand for years and never have I had this problem.

I've had these sandals for a little over a year (first pair of Birkenstocks) and have worn them seasonally. They have been sooo comfortable for my high arches. Yesterday the toe strap on the left sandal suddenly broke. I examined the other sandal to find that the toe strap on that one is cracked and about to break as well. I really liked these sandals and was not at unusually hard on them, so I am really disappointed that this would happen...I thought these were quality sandals that would last me many years!!

These shoes are great, but they have a metallic sheen I wasn't expecting, it makes them feel cheap and tacky. If I'm going to spend this much on a pair of shoes I don't want them to look like they are made from unicorn leather. These are going back.

I bought my shoes May 1, 2014. This morning the toe strap completely came out. I am very disappointed in this shoe. I used to buy Birkenstocks that would last for ten years. I wear these shoes daily and loved them but the quality must not be what it used to be. I have some Mephistos that are similar that I have worn for many years and still look great. Zappos, however, is always a great experience.

The sandal straps are made of some weird synthetic material. Very cheap for such an expensive shoe. Returning unfortunately because they will not hold up for me.

I absolutely love these sandals. Hands down, one of my all-time favorites. Comfort, style, attractive & easy. Unfortunately the report goes downhill from there. After only wearing them a couple months I noticed the cork at the toe crease was cracking. Since they were not "return" eligible by this point & I really didn't want to give them up, I contacted Birkenstock. They refused to provide any assistance. Not even guidance to a repair shop in my town. They were downright rude & said it was not their problem. After being a loyal Birkenstock wearer since I was in college, this was a huge upset. I still have the pair I bought in 1991 - virtually excellent condition but very different style. Finally after going through another summer wearing them & hoping they would hold up, I went into our local Birkenstock store where they do repairs under certain circumstances. Their staff told me they can't & won't repair any of the sandals with the toe design & referred me to a sole shop in a different part of town. They said it's the way it is with these styles. This shop was more than willing to rebuild the sole...for the exact amount these sandals are on sale for now on Zappos. And with no guarantee the same thing wouldn't happen again. Ugh.
