I got blisters from them

Beware! The photo of this shoe looks to be a strong yellow color. It is not even close! It is actually an apricot color which is what it is named, but I went by the photo.

The arches were uncomfortably high in the beginning, but got more comfortable with time. These shoes looked very stylish . The straps got a bit loose with time and after a year both shoes were cracked through. They don't handle daily ware very well. I would not suggest this as your go to shoes if you want them to last a year. I really wanted to love these.

Cute but the straps were hard and rubbed my big toe. I have other birkies and they’re not like these. I was extremely disappointed.

LOVE these shoes - enough to buy them twice BUT each pair has broken (strap snapped near the big toe), rendering them un-wearable (one after two seasons, another after only one!) Such a bummer, especially considering the expense and Birkenstock's reputation.

The color is faded looking. Looks like it has been worn for years.

I loved these sandals, but the toe loop just frayed and broke at the base as other customers have complained. I don’t think it can even be repaired. I’m disappointed because otherwise these were great sandals and I paid more than I normally would for sandals because of Birkenstock’s reputation for quality.

Not a soft shoe bed as described, very hard inner sole. Have suffered from heel pain for over 10 years, this sandal is not good for that, Crocs are better as they offer more cushion for the heel.

I just had my second pair break at the toe strap after 16months. They are super comfortable. This style just isn’t durable.

I can't believe it, I have had these for 3 months and they broke! I have been wearing Birkenstocks for years and currently have other styles that have been going strong. Spending over $100 for sandals means they last longer than one season of once a week wear. Returning!

I love Birkenstocks and in particular the Mayari style, in fact, currently, I have three pairs in various colors. The blue pair was as comfortable as the other pairs until, i got wet walking on a sidewalk through sprinklers. The color bled on my feet and I had to scrub quite harshly to remove it (see pic). Not sure they are safe to wear. I would definitely NOT recommend this color and I’m having second thoughts on a brand that I was previously trusting.

Comfort is great, and this is my favorite sandal, but QUALITY IS TERRIBLE. The Birko-flor material is not durable. I have had three pairs of the Mayari and the toe ripped in the same place on all three pairs, each with one season of moderate wear. Sadly Birkenstock will not make any Narrow width Mayari in leather. Trying Mephisto instead, the quality seems better.

I own 6 pair of Berkenstocks. Love them! I usually wear size 6 regular shoe which corresponds to 37. But this style with the toe strap, I need Size 36 even tho it corresponds to size 5, 5-1/2. This was my 4th pair of this style so I knew what I needed. For a 2 or 3 strap, I need a size 37. Zappos is great about returning, so don't be unhappy. They will make it right. The materials are great and last years. Get several pair. They've been voted #1 sandal!

POOR QUALITY. I have had these shoes for 4 months and they broke. The material that goes around the shoe broke off from the shoe itself when I was simply walking. I am very disappointed. Love the style and the comfort. But don’t recommend spending this much money for a shoe that won’t last. Save your money.

These were too big for me. When I tried to use the “return “ link, it lead to no where.

The inside left sandal rubber sole was not glued down all the way. I had read reviews before I ordered these and others had commented on structural problems they had. I decided not to keep these nor am I going to exchange them for another pair. I I think it is best if I simply find a different brand.

I love birkenstocks but I received the color tobacco brown instead of tobacco leather -- which is a tan color. I love tan but rarely have anything brown. Super disappointed.

I don't even know how to describe what's wrong with these sandals because I'm not really sure. There's a hump right under the big toe that's painful and I'm not sure why it's there. Seems like a design flaw. Obviously, I just don't get it when it comes to these beloved sandals...pretty much the most uncomfortable thing I've ever tried on.

Fit great, very painful on my plantar fasciitis feet!

Material was described as "blue oiled leather" - it was plastic. No way could you call this material "leather". I sent them back.

What happened to Birkenstock’s? Wore these to work today and they were so uncomfortable. Read reviews saying it had a soft footbed and these were like cement. My Feet swelled as well. I’m sure they can’t be returned after wearing them, so these are going in my pile of “what was I thinking” shoes. I’m also a solid 8.5 shoe size and these were much larger than I thought they would be.

fit fine in the footbed when I adjusted the straps but my heels moved around when I tried to walk. Maybe they were too wide, but my heels kept landing on the ridges of the shoe -very painful.

Another companies quality going down the drain. I am a solid 8.5 in most shows so I ordered the 39s. Just huge! They look very cheap like a knock off from Walmart. Going to exchange for a smaller and completely different style.

I ordered these for my daughter, and for the first time, I was stunned by Birkenstocks quality control...big glue smear on the front that was quite obvious, and then a glue blob sticking out from one of the straps. Returning to Zappos and hoping the QC was better on the 2nd pair I've ordered.
