After three years of less than frequent wearing, the toe strap broke off at the attachment on the insole. I've never had such a problem with Birkenstocks. I won't be buying another pair made with Birko-Flor. I expect a lot better from Birkenstock, after owning several pairs that lasted for years of heavy use.

Not narrow

Poor quality for Birkenstock! Sandal feels like it’s hard plastic, very uncomfortable. Returned them.

These fell apart after two months of regular wear! The toe part completely came out of the footbed. It’s disappointing because these aren’t cheap sandals!

The shoe overall was so stiff and the sole so hard and inflexible that I can hardly make any judgments regarding size. I did not like the shiny faux leather--did not realize it was shiny from the photos of it. The strap between my toes was sharp-edged and uncomfortable.

I loved these shoes until the buckle broke! For $100 I would expect them to last longer than 3 months!

They were good until the strap came off randomly. Now they are unuseable.

Love these shoes until the sole started to come apart. I have been wearing them for less than a month. So disappointed

They didn't last 6 months before starting to crack at the sole. I do not wear these daily and only wear when I leave the house. I contacted Birkenstock and they told me I can take it to a repair shop on my expense. My knock off Shopko sandals lasted longer than these! Would not recommend!

The toe strap completely came off literally less than a week after ordering. They are cute but would not at all recommend. Major bummer, especially considering how expensive they are.

I am not sure what happened to Birkenstock but their quality and sizing has gone in the wrong direction. I understand that some products are now shipped directly from Amazon which has never happened before,.. I will just attach few pics of the state of the boxes sandals came in. I will returning them due to sizing issue as well as quality. I own 2 pair which I had for years and they are definitely different/ higher quality then these. Thank you Zappos for shipping/ return policy but this is disappointing,.. Thank you!

This pair of birkenstocks is exactly the same a pair I purchased 5 years ago. I have worn those every summer for 5 years and finally need to replace them. This pair that I ordered seems CHEAP...like cardboard. Holding the old in one hand and the new in my other, there is really no comparison. I feel like the quality of the new pair is less than adequate, especially for Birkenstocks reputation and the high price of their shoes.

Way too narrow and really uncomfortable. Sadly they had to go back even though they were super cute.

Not good for people with thinner toes and smaller feet. The 4.5 fit more like a 5 to 5.5. The strap fit too loose in the toe.

The sandal itself is comfortable and stylish. I wore them periodically over the summer months in 2021. After three months averaging 2 - 3 times a week, the foot bed adjacent to the leather strap started cracking. I asked if I could return them yet was told no because I wore them outside over a few months. I’m disappointed that the quality did not match the price point. I’m 5’7” and 140lbs. I wear a size 9 narrow. I expected the sandal to last behind one season. I will purchase again yet though Nordstroms in case of defect to protect my investment.

I bought these to replace an older pair of Mayaris (that I love!) bought directly from Birkenstock. However, I suspect that the shoes I received are knockoffs and am returning them. They were not in the original Birkenstock box. Plus, the outsoles seem like an off-color brown plastic that is much harder compared to my older pair that feels more like rubber on the bottom.

There’s a defect in the toe area. The loop that you got your toe in is too big. It’s a manufacturer error. I have another pair of these shoes and they’re fine.

Right shoe not made right big gap under bottom strap near right ankle. Appears the buckle itself was not center and not aligned. I bought these for a beach wedding on Sunday 2/20/22. I did contact CS when received. I was offered a new pair by Sunday Eve. I needed them for afternoon and couldn’t risk not having them for wedding in afternoon. I was given a $20 credit. I’m still not happy. They don’t support my right ankle line it should. Just wanted to share this with your team. Thanks

The sandals were slippery. On tile floors too much slipping and slipping… sent back

Would have kept these sandals if tread were not so slippery. My tile floors….. slipping and sliding… sent back

I always order size 38 in Birkenstocks. When these came they were way too big!!! I've since reordered a smaller size, which I never take, and am waiting for them. We will see. I'm guessing these may now be too small. But I will be fair and wait and see.

I paid way more for these shoes than I would typically pay because I expected them to last a few years like previous Birkenstocks I've had. After less than 6 months of use, the toe loop broke and Birkenstock is refusing to refund or replace as "everyone wears through the shoes differently". So basically I rented these shoes for $15 a month which is outrageous. The store that I bought them from said that the toe loop issue was a common problem and that Birkenstock quality had gone down significantly in the last several years. Birkenstocks is sure not making up for the poor quality with customer service and they have definitely lost me as a customer.

I have owned this identical pair...same color and material for years and loved them. The sole of this pair was just way off. It did not fit my foot ...I can't explain it more than that other than my foot did not adapt to the form.

Show is extremely larger than what I am

After many, many purchases, I have found that I just can't wear Birks. My toes are quite a bit more straight across than Birkenstocks, and left my little toes hanging over the edge, so I bought a few more in wide, but that just left the back of my feet sliding around. So I lost a lot of money, but they are just not cut right for my feet. So sad.
