Stiff leather around the big toes was not comfortable. sending back!

I wanted to love these! I love the look, and I measured my feet according to the guide on the Birkenstock website to ensure I got the right size. The shoes were a little uncomfortable at first, but everything I read said that that was normal until you get them broken in. I’ve tried to get them broken in but they just don’t seem to work for my feet and I now get shooting pains through my foot when I put them on. Overall, they’re a beautiful color and style, just not for my foot. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from buying them, just really check the fit when you first get them in.

You sent the wrong sandals. I received a $99 pair of Birkies, not these, so I returned them. Fit was fine though.

These are definitely not as cute as the picture. The color is more a dull honey mustard than apricot, the buckles and white footbed look cheap, Also, I have this sandal in a smaller size, but the straps over the toe on this one feel tighter than the smaller size. Overall, disappointment and I will be returning them.

Had bunion surgery and still have some swelling...straps hit in the wrong spot. Thank you Zappos, returning is easy!...still searching. Loved the color....sadness...

I have been wearing Birkenstocks since the 1980s - must have had 15 or more pairs over the years. I loved that they all fit basically the same. I don't know what has happened but that is not the case anymore. Trying to order these Mayari's this month and the first pair I ordered felt pretty good. Wore them with no trouble for a week until the toe strap detached from the foot bed. I've never had a Birk fail like this. I returned it and got a replacement. The 2nd pair's upper foot strap on the right foot hurt so bad I nearly got a blister. Again, I've never had this happen before... Birk's have never, ever hurt my feet! I could see that the strap wasn't lying flat against my foot like the other one... it was skewed a bit. Again, I returned it. So, this is the 3rd pair and I have to return them... they are so narrow! I was sure they must have sent a narrow sizing but, no, they are marked regular. Interesting that the first two pairs' widths were fine!? Birks just don't have the same quality that they used to. I'm very disappointed!

These shoes wore great however the toe strap pulled out after only 3 summers of light casual wear. Very disappointing for this brand.

Toe piece broke at one year mark. These were expensive. I was expecting years of use. I live in Ohio. We only get 6 months of sandal weather. So really they lasted 6 months. Disappointing.

Being able to adjust straps is fine but the sole of the sandal is still too wide making the straps gap and not fit properly.

Size was good but very uncomfortable on arch and bottom of foot.

Love Birks! Sent these back, the purple color was so muted and blah. A shame since the footbed was cute with the design.

The quality control on the apricot leather Mayari is horrendous. I had to order 3 pairs to get one mostly decent pair that didn’t have visible glue and other defects. I’ve been wearing a Birkenstocks for years, and it’s never been this bad. It’s a good looking shoe, and comfortable of course, but quality is lacking.

Hard. Very hard! Size down.

Rough leather straps. I had a pair of these for years and forgot that there’s a breaking in period. The leather straps are uncomfortable until then.

I have the same pair in a different color that I love. I ordered these and the part under my toes doesn’t fit right. I thought they needed time to break in and the are still not right. I regret buying before trying these on.

Here's the mystery. I have another pair in the exact style, also made from leather (not the vinyl version), yet this pair cut into my toes so badly, they left marks after just 15 mins of trying them on here at home. I would love to buy more pairs if they fit me consistently!

Started out tight across my toes

Save your money. These did not last very long at all! Purchased in June, and by Sept. the cork is split and they are no longer comfortable. This was my third pair. The toe loop broke on the first two pair after 6 months. Very disappointed in the quality.

I adore these shoes, but this is the second pair that have only lasted me a year before the strap broke. Birkenstock quality is NOT what it used to be. I love these shoes, but I expect them to last for at least a couple summers and they just don't anymore.

I ordered a 6, the box said 6 but the sandles were size 7 so someone goofed up so I sent them back.

Love this sandal, but the toe strap broke after only 3 weeks of light usage. EXTREMELY disappointed in this pair.

Toe piece very uncomfortable

I’m a big birkenstock fan, these were at least my 4th pair over the years, but the quality of this style is lacking. The toe loops came unglued from the soles on both shoes after only a couple of months. Birkenstock replaced them for free, but then the second pair did the same thing not long after.

OUCH! Not sure how a sandal can hurt ones feet, but this one did. Pain around the leather toe ring, not even going to try the left one on. Returning

My sister owns this exact pair of shoes, I have tried hers on they fit me almost perfect but are slightly too big. Hers are a size 9 so I decided to order these in the size 8. I was extremely disappointed when they arrived. They felt larger than even my sisters size 9's, the arch support seemed oddly placed and the sole was so clunky I felt a bit like I had a brick on my foot. I am disappointed as I have never had an issue with the quality of shoes from Zappos but this time I think I will just order directly from Birkenstock.
