Love the metallic taupe. It matches everything that a brown or black sandal would match, so I bought them for travel. I wear a 9.5 and my foot fits in the 40 well. I wore them for several hours on the first wear and got several blisters. Some were from the straps rubbing and one from rubbing where my arch is. Maybe after more wear, these issues will resolve. This was a disappointment as my Clarks sandals are always good to go for me out of the box.

I was disappointed. I wanted to love and live in these. The toe part was too big and no way to adjust it. I might have gotten the size wrong, but length was good. Narrow was not an option for this sandal. So sad. :(

I have worn this style of Birkenstock for years now..average 1 pair a year however; always bought @ local retailer. These put a blister on the underside of my right 2nd toe & also midway on my arch...all within 2 hrs of wearing. Very disappointed with these ESPECIALLY since have worn same style & color for 2 yrs now.

After falling in love with my first Birkenstocks last summer (Arizona style) I decided I wanted to get a more feminine version of Birks this year. However overall I found these to be disappointing in comparison. The 39 narrow fits me perfectly in the Arizona style - but I found the Mayari standard width to be much more narrow to begin with, and the Mayari Narrow of course was wayyy too narrow (I'm guessing because it's considered a women's style). I also was not impressed with the quality of the craftsmanship on these. I saw many reviews stating that the toe strap tends to break, so I opted to try out the Birkoflor and the leather Mayari, but both of those didn't seem to have the same quality as my Birki-buc Arizonas. For $125 + tax I was expecting a better fit and better quality - as you can see from my photos these didn't look like they would hold up well (photos are of the leather Mayari): the glued areas seemed to already be coming up on the sides and the leather had some weird circular scuffs in several spots? I returned these and bought another pair of Arizonas but in Black. I wish the sizing and quality was more consistent throughout the other styles offered by Birkenstock.

Loved everything about them except they felt stiff and didn’t want to take a chance they wouldn’t soften so had to return them.

Sadly, I this style is not for me. I ordered a 38 and a 37 because I wasn't sure of the size. The 38 was too long but the rest felt great. The 37 just barely fit in the length but the straps were very uncomfortable where they hit my foot. It was painful after walking in my living room for just a couple minutes. My feet are wide. The footbed of both sizes felt great. A very nice shoe just not for my feet.

I love this style and the wonderful support Birkenstocks provide. However, I have ordered the Mayari in habana oiled leather from Zappos twice, and both times the leather on one or both of the toe straps is significantly lighter than the habana color on the rest of the leather straps. This is disappointing, as the color difference sticks out like a sore thumb. Zappos customer service responded with the usual "coloring on leather can vary" statement, but I have never seen this when I've looked at these shoes in store. Looks like I'll be forgoing the $25 Zappos coupon and heading to a store to buy a nicer looking pair that I can be happy with.

The color of the shoes was much darker than the blue on the website photo. I thought I had been sent black when I opened them.

These were really uncomfortable for me. It's been awhile since I tried Birkenstocks, but now I remember that with the molded footbed, if your foot does not precisely fit the indented shape, there are lots of painful pressure points. I overcame that in the past with a long break-in period. Did not feel like doing it again. The leather between the toes is very thick and painful. Also, these just look giant and medical grade on my feet when I look down...how is it they look cute when I look at someone else's foot? Got the oiled blue leather...really nice color. I wish I liked them, but they did not work for me at all!

I have an accessory navicular bone and the strap goes directly over it and causes pain. Also the toebox is narrower than anticipated; my pinky toe didn't have room.

They really aren't white but a grey......not what I was looking for.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. When they arrived I tried them on and was disappointed that they ran bigger a size bigger. Even though they will be returned for the next smaller size it is definitely not a deal breaker. The comfort is there and the casual style that I was looking for meets my expectations! Love the look and color of this sandal! Perfect for every day and a variety of outfits!

I wanted these to work but the strap around my toe hurt as did the top strap. I have owned many birkenstocks and never had a problem but these hurt.

I really wanted to like these. I had a pair many years ago, and liked them at the time - as a matter of fact, I wore them out.. I really wanted a sandal that I could slide my foot into, and yet have my heel supported. I have had issues with other sandals (slip-on) where my heel slid. I even fractured a small bone once due to this happening. I normally wear 8.5 M in sandals, but took the advice of Birkenstock and ordered their narrow width size 39. They fit fine once I was able to adjust the buckles. But, the strap over the arch pressed into the bone on the side of my foot, making it very uncomfortable to walk. So, sadly, I returned them.

I am a size 5.5 so I ordered size 5-5.5 and it was still too big. It was pretty comfy though walking around at home. Unfortunately it’s going back, may have to try the next size down.

Sadly had to return because my feet were almost hanging over the edge on the sides but they fit in the length- and my feet really aren't very wide. They fit narrower than the Arizona style.

Ordered Antique Lace. I wear an 8.5, and ordered a 39 by the site's recommendation. It was way to big and even a little wide on my wide foot. I also could not tell from the picture that they would be shimmering. I re-ordered in a 38 narrow, but that was too narrow. I re-ordered again in a 38 in a different color, toffee Birko-flor, that did not appear to be shimmery, but it was also shimmery. I've decided to try the Yara, and I really hope it does not have a shimmer finish.

They sure are pretty. I got the blue ones but overall they are just okay. I honestly don't think worth the price though. My first Birkenstock and quite honestly not all that they are hyped up to be. I have a similar pair that are cork bottom and much more comfortable. I doubt I will purchase another Birkenstock. They are a tad to big and wider than expected. I don't mind the wider part. For $100 pair of sandals, I was hoping for much more comfort than they are. I can't justify getting another pair for that price.

Size chart is way off. A 37 is more like a US size 8, not 6-6.5.

My item wasn’t as pictured. I wanted the worn leathery look that the pictures depict. Instead I received a light sand color. Was going to return them but when I researched, I couldn’t find any color that actually looked like the picture. That is my only disappointment. Shoes feel great and met all other expectations. Would just have preferred as pictured.

I wanted to love these - cute, feminine style...but really find that I prefer the soft bed Birks more. Typically wear a 39 in the soft bed styles but this one felt a tad bit short - my third and fourth toes were rubbing up against the front rim of the shoe bed.

I'm a true 7 and ordered a 7; the fit was perfect. I am so disappointed that I have to return these shoes. I love the style and the color, but ouch. I've read so many reviews that say you need to break in Birkenstocks, and I was willing to put in the time, but the left upper metal buckle cut right into my toe -- and no amount of breaking in will fix that. So they are reluctantly going back, and I will try another style. So many people who suffer from plantar fasciitis, which I recently developed/treated, recommend them that I am determined to try again.

In my quest to find amazing arch support, I thought I’d try this shoe. I couldn’t wear them for more than a second - way too much going on in the footbed. Arch support would have sufficed but there’s a ‘lump’ under the middle of the foot, just below the ball of my feet that was like walking with a ball under my foot. Maybe my arches are just too high to wear Birkenstock. It was a nice looking sandal.

I ordered the Mayaris in a size 41 -- the size Zappos' algorithm recommended for me -- and they were too short. (Zappos doesn't know I have a Roman toe and a long third toe as well). I should have listened to my gut instead of the algorithm. I found them flimsy and less substantial than most Birkenstocks, so I won't be reordering in the next size up.

Ordered a pair for myself for my 17-year-old daughter she loves hers but I’m still trying to decide if I want to keep mine. it’s not the arch support or comfort level I was expecting from Birkenstock
