Not the biggest fan of these. They are stiff as a board. Was told that you have to break them in.

I just didn't love these in person. They're fine, but the color is just a bit dull. Will return for another style

I purchased these for my granddaughter's birthday in June. The short strap across the toe came loose from the foot in about 4 months time. People have asked her if they were really Birkenstocks because Birkenstocks are usually such good products.

I’m still trying to decide on whether I like these sandals. I’ve never bought Birkenstock before. From reading other reviews I thought they would be very comfortable but they seem to be very hard.... still debating

The problem I have with this pair of shoes is it has a defective clasp.

I'm brokenhearted that these adorable sandals in this spectacular blue leather color do not work for me, and I'm returning them. Basically, I found the crossover design of the thong part very uncomfortable between the toes. I don't have that issue with the Mephisto Helen thong, which has a different design. I knew I was taking a chance with these because I don't often like the feel of thongs. I suspect most would not have any issue with these sandals. After all, they're Birkies, so they're good for your feet!

Fit and size good but the right shoe has abnormalities with the leather! Several people commented on the lack of uniformity of the strapping! So the right shoe is defective in the strapping!

I’m usually 8M in USA sizing but since the description suggested ordering narrow in this style, I ordered 39, narrow. The upturned rim around the edge of the shoe was just too uncomfortable. They’re cute, but unfortunately are being returned.

I loved these shoes so much that i even bought a second pair in black a few weeks after. Over the summer i've worn both pairs fairly equally. The problem: both black shoes and the right brown shoe have had their leather stretch out fairly evenly as you would expect with leather. However the left brown shoe has stretched out 3 times more than the right (or either black shoe). I've adjusted the buckles 2 holes further than the others. Which would be a minor annoyance/oddity with one exception, the toe loop isn't adjustable. The stretching continues and at this point the left shoe is practically unwearable without it slipping off my foot or having to scrunch my toes to keep it on. I'm afraid of tripping downstairs in them. I'm baffled by this difference in quality between the 1 shoe and the other 3 and annoyed that it means that the brown pair was only able to be worn for one season...which for the price is ridiculous.

I am a true 7.5 but I often wear sandals in 7. I tried following Birkenstock's size chart but I'm definitely a 37 because the 38s were too big. Anyhow, the reason for this review: these shoes have a reputation for lasting a long time, but after wearing these sandals for about a year, as soon as the sole got broken-in and comfortable, the toe strap broke. I wasn't running in them or anything, I literally put them on and was about to leave the house to run an errand when it snapped. Yes, they are comfortable and I don't feel any kind of plantar fascitis or pain after walking in them. Yes, the style is flattering and my feet don't look veiny and flat in these as compared to the traditional Birkenstock Arizona. But this weak point is very weak and you might get a year or two out of them before they snap.

I love the color of these birks. They just felt too big. I have them in the same size in another color and those fit perfectly. My heel was sliding off of these shoes even with the buckles on the last hole. Bummer.

I'm normally a size 7.5 and size 38 fit well. However, BOTH shoes made farting noises when I walked. I just couldn't.... sent them back and will try a different style.

This color was very different in person than on the screen. I didn't care for it the golden brown. It had a very snakelike sheen to it.

Tried this model in Navy and compared it to the Naot Kayla. I have wide feet with plantar fasciitis and I'm recovering from a bone spur. Perhaps I'm used to the Arizona Birkenstock, which I really like for comfort, but Mayari, while a more attractive look, did not match for comfort, so I returned them.

The fit and size was accurate but I did not like the feel of the leather strap between my toes. I have pretty short toes and my big toe is wide. I don't think this style works for my shape of foot. I went with the Gizeh and that has worked much better.

I can only comment on the fit so far. I wear a 9 in sandals and a 9.5-10 in sneakers, asics a 10 and new balance 9.5. I bought the 39 regular and my toes are close to the front of the shoe so I tried the 40 and they seem too big, felt strange and the arch seemed off. I decided to keep the 39 bc they seemed to fit better . My foot is not wide or skinny and I think the regular fits good , I think the narrow would be too narrow . I bought the tobacco and it’s neutral and looks nice against my fair skin. I hope I’ll like them, the arch support seems to be good. If they work out I’ll update my review on comfort.

i like the way these look but they were too big.

These are a beautiful color and style, however the nubuck leather gets dirty very easily and does not clean.

The foot bed was harder than other birks I have purchased in the past. This is a very cute shoe, I'd recommend trying it.

The strap across the toe was very uncomfortable. Since these are not a leather upper, I know there is no chance for them to stretch and form to my foot. It's a super cute shoe and I really wanted it to work, but they hurt just to try on. Also, I obviously received a previously returned pair of shoes. They didn't come in an original box (which isn't a big deal to me) and there were toe markes in the sole of the shoe where someone else had already worn them.

These are very cute sandals. The construction and materials are first rate. The straps across the instep and across the toe area are both adjustable so they're easy to customize to fit your feet. My complaint is the cork foot bed. There is a ridge that separates the toe area from the ball of foot area, this ridge is incredibly uncomfortable under my big toe, it's like trying to walk with a rock in my shoe. I imagine it's probably just the way my feet are shaped and this wouldn't be an issue for everyone, but it's something to consider when buying these shoes.

Love the metallic taupe. It matches everything that a brown or black sandal would match, so I bought them for travel. I wear a 9.5 and my foot fits in the 40 well. I wore them for several hours on the first wear and got several blisters. Some were from the straps rubbing and one from rubbing where my arch is. Maybe after more wear, these issues will resolve. This was a disappointment as my Clarks sandals are always good to go for me out of the box.

I was disappointed. I wanted to love and live in these. The toe part was too big and no way to adjust it. I might have gotten the size wrong, but length was good. Narrow was not an option for this sandal. So sad. :(

I have worn this style of Birkenstock for years now..average 1 pair a year however; always bought @ local retailer. These put a blister on the underside of my right 2nd toe & also midway on my arch...all within 2 hrs of wearing. Very disappointed with these ESPECIALLY since have worn same style & color for 2 yrs now.

After falling in love with my first Birkenstocks last summer (Arizona style) I decided I wanted to get a more feminine version of Birks this year. However overall I found these to be disappointing in comparison. The 39 narrow fits me perfectly in the Arizona style - but I found the Mayari standard width to be much more narrow to begin with, and the Mayari Narrow of course was wayyy too narrow (I'm guessing because it's considered a women's style). I also was not impressed with the quality of the craftsmanship on these. I saw many reviews stating that the toe strap tends to break, so I opted to try out the Birkoflor and the leather Mayari, but both of those didn't seem to have the same quality as my Birki-buc Arizonas. For $125 + tax I was expecting a better fit and better quality - as you can see from my photos these didn't look like they would hold up well (photos are of the leather Mayari): the glued areas seemed to already be coming up on the sides and the leather had some weird circular scuffs in several spots? I returned these and bought another pair of Arizonas but in Black. I wish the sizing and quality was more consistent throughout the other styles offered by Birkenstock.
