Beautiful Birkies! The toe strap is a bit of fashion that is also functional! Only problem the cork started breaking down right by the toe. After only a few months of wearing, these normally last years! And can be refurbished! Zappos to the rescue, truly stellar customer service! Yes they replaced them and yes they paid to return them! Love this company!

I bought these shoes because I thought the toe would be better for me. I had previously purchased a pair of Gizeh's by Birkenstocks and had returned them, but I wanted to give them another try in a different style; and I was glad that I did. I have a narrow foot and flat feet that like to pronate. I am getting older, and it is harder for me to be comfortable in shoes. My podiatrist recommended Birkenstock and they are really comfortable and keep my foot stable. WARNING! Birkenstocks need to be broken in SLOWLY, do not rush the process or you will be unhappy and in pain. Wear them an hour at first and build up until you can wear them several hours without fatigue. I takes time for the shoe to mold to your foot, but in the end I think you will be satisfied.

I usually take a size 9½ or 10. I ordered both a size 40 and 41 and the 41 fit quite well. I really liked the style. Although I prefer leather, the Birki-Flor material is soft and comfortable, and the thong caused no rubbing problems. I tried to wear these, but apparently Birkenstocks just are not for me. After following the instructions and wearing the sandals for a few hours each day (indoors) for several days so they would mold to my feet, I realized that there was no need to torture myself. The footbed was hard as a rock, my feet hurt even when I was not wearing them, and so I decided to return them.

Love the look, the foot pad did not feel as comfortable, I hope birk has not tried to save money and reduce the quality of the foot bed?

Just received these sandals, they are very nice looking but I ordered the same size (38) that I wear in the half-dozen pairs of Mephistos and they were very large! But for the price I might try them again in a smaller size.

Love my Birks! Just wish they would make the shoe longer for the last two toes for those of us that have long toes. My little toes hang off the edge a little but nothing I have purchased comes close to the arch support Birks offer.

The footbed on these is so firm it took a while to get comfy for my sensitive feet, particularly the toe bar. But have faith, they will conform to your feet given time; now I sometimes wear them around the house instead of my slippers. I normally fit an 8.5 or 9 WW, and the 39 in Birkenstock's normal width (equivalent of American wide width -- check Birkenstock's sizing info) fits me very well. I just wish the soles were more flexible, because the strap across the instep starts to bother my ridiculously delicate feet if I walk a lot in them.

Cute and fun color I wear a 9 1/2 ordered a 9 and good fit. Had to return because style was to narrow for me even though I ordered regular. Pinched my pinkie toe.

The shoes are a tad hard underfoot, but I think that has to do with me getting used to a shoe that is molded, if you will. Conversely, the shoe is not stif; it seems flexible as I walk. Further, the color is more of a light mint green than what I would expect of a titanium (gray / silver). I think the sheen / reflective nature of the material adds to the "minty" look. If you are looking for a gray color, you may want to go with silver. I opted for the black instead. Lastly, I have wide duck feet and chose size 39 (8) regular. Yes, there is some overhang in the back, but I don't mind that as the size hugged my wide feet exactly right. Also, both straps ensure this shoe does not come off, so that overhang I mentioned does not affect my ability to walk with said straps.

It looks like I'm the only one, but I thought this pair of Birks felt more narrow than my other styles. I compared it sole to sole with another pair, and not only was it more narrow across the top and widest point, but it was also shorter than my others. Perhaps I should re-order to see if it was just that pair, because I really like the blue color.

Not the most comfy of Birkenstocks, but as I remember they take a while to break in and mold to your foot. I Got these because of my bunion and wanted something to separate my toes. Still getting used to them but I like them and will continue to wear for years to come. My last pair of Birks (arizona style) I actively wore for 10+ years. Can't wait till they break in. They are still really well made shoes. Only 3 style stars because even though they're a more stylish Birk, they still look like a Birk. Excellent support. The best support you can get without a podiatrist.

I originally ordered the Gizeh. With my narrow feet, high arches and short toes, the Gizehs were not a good fit. I returned the Gizehs (great return policy Zappos!). I took a chance and ordered this style in 38N. I typically wear a size 7.5-8 with regular width. The fit is great! The arch support is much better in this style. I recommend ordering a narrow width if you do not have wide feet. The toe part on this shoe did not bother me (unlike the Gizeh which hurt after a brief walk). I bought these sandals to relieve my plantar fasciitis and tendonitis in my ankles. I am in my early 30s and wanted something somewhat stylish but comfortable and easy to slip on and off (I have two little kids so this is a must!). So far, these shoes have been perfect!

I liked these shoes and the size was right...except the lip that goes around it bumped my toes and a larger size would have made them too big, so they went back!

I have these shoes in another color, and they fit well and are extremely comfortable. I am exchanging these as the toe strap on the right shoe is too big and the sandal does not fit well. I will give it another try before asking for a refund.

This shoe is not for people with long toes! If your second toe is longer than your first toe, like mine is, these sandals will probably not fit. When I tried these on, my second toe kept rubbing up against the lip of the sandal. So sad, because these are comfy and cute! If only the toe bed was a little bit longer, the would've been keepers.

These Birkenstock sandals are a little more feminine than others. Although I am used to wearing thong-type sandals, when I first tried these sandals on, I thought the leather between the toes would rub. However, after wearing them for a short while, that is not the case.

I bought a narrow because in the past I've found Birks to be a bit wide. The sandals fit me perfectly right out of the box so it's a good job I did. I've never had a blister or an irritation. I'm tempted to buy another in a brighter color. I like the updated styles and colors now being offered.

I had originally purchased the Gizeh, but found that on my small feet (size 6.5), the tab of leather covered most of my big toe. This model is much more flattering to a small foot. I love the sueded bottom, which feels great against the sole of my foot, and the arch support can't be beat.

Good shoe...there seems to be a lot of space between the end of my big toe and the end of the shoe though. Takes a little while to break in.

These run extremely large. I would say order at least 1½ sizes smaller than you usually wear. Other than that, they are great.

I read a lot of reviews online before buying as it's been years since I've gotten Birks - typically am a heels gal, but being pregnant again with back hurting when I'm barefoot around the house/running errands and wanting to keep my feet for heels for work, I got these. Keep in mind with sizes that they will look too big on your feet. Took me a while to remember that & you need to put them on & bend up so you are on your toes - your toes should not touch the end or they are too small. So, yes, they make your feet look huge but they will be comfortable at the get-go if you get the right size. The patent wasn't as cute & feminine as I was hoping, but again, I wear 4 in heels regularly. But these meet my needs & are comfy, but know they're Birks - comfy, supportive but not something you're going to feel super feminine & small-footed in.

I haven't owned a pair of Birkenstock's since my days as a college undergrad, but walking the streets of NYC necessitated that I reconsider. This style and color is more subtle, less hippie/granola and goes well with a lot of clothes. I can even where them as a summer sandal to work rather than just using them to walk to the office before quickly changing into other, less walking friendly shoes. Definitely give these a go if you're in need of a comfortable walking shoe that's a little more chic than a sneaker to get your around the mean city streets quickly.

Nothing new here, folks. This is the same terrific Birk we all love, especially if you are after a good, solid arch support. I was a little disappointed in the silver color. It's more of a metal silver instead of a shiny silver.
