My first pair of birks. They are very cute, and quite comfortable. I have worn them a few times now and they are getting broken in. The only uncomfortable part has been the buckle area near my fifth toe seems to rub a bit. Hopefully that will get better with time. They seem to run really large, I sized down one size and they are still a bit roomy in the length. I usually wear a 6.5 and got the 36 (listed as 5-5.5 US).

These shoes are extremely comfortable and I love the mocha color but unfortunately I did send them back because I was looking for a style a bit more feminine and ended up getting the yara. As always the customer service at Zappos was amazing and was able to exchange quickly!

I ordered both these and the Arizona in a size 39. I generally wear a size 8.5 and my foot is average to wide width - not narrow. The Arizona's fit perfectly, but with these, my smallest two toes hit the top edge of the foot-bed rather than fitting comfortably inside. The actual shape of the foot-bed is probably exactly the same on both pairs, so it must be the strap nudging my foot closer to the side. I'm going to exchange the size 39 for a 40 and hopefully that works since i love the shoe otherwise. I'll update this review once i see if the 40 works.

Not true to size. Ran big for me.

I like these but returned them in favor of the Madrid slip-ons. I have thick ankles and the Madrid looked prettier on me.

Love the sandals - quality and comfort are great. I had to return for smaller size (for my daughter & myself). I am a 5.5 shoe & generally wear a 35 in the euro sizes. I ordered as recommended for 5-5.5 & recieved the euro the 36 which was too large. Same for my daughter who is an 8 (recieved euro size 39 & returned for the 38). Otherwise, perfect service & quality shoes!

The Mayari Birkenstocks are absolutely amazing! I love the fit, style, color options, and my favorite feature of the shoe is how it molds to your foot! The only dislike i have about the shoe is that they run about 1-1.5 sizes big, so I would recommend ordering a size smaller than you usually would. Otherwise, the Mayari’s are a fantastic pair of shoes!

These sandals are adorable! Please, PLEASE, Birkenstock, remember petite women in your sizing. I am a very petite woman with very small, wide feet. I need these in a 34. If you must, make them for kids but have an option (or two) that adults would enjoy as well (aka, a non printed, multicolored option).

Not a soft foot bed.

I found these to run one full size larger. I wear 8.5 and had to return the size 39 and bought size 38, which still have a little room and don't look to fit small at all.

Cute shoe, excellent arch support. Returning because they are not wide enough across the front of my foot. Might break in but don't want to take the chance.

DO NOT RUN LARGE! I read lots of reviews on these because I hate to purchase shoes online. I have large feet and my right foot is significantly smaller than the left so I prefer to try on in store. Unfortunately all stores were out so I ordered them and according to many reviews, Birkenstocks run a size big. So I ordered a size smaller which is usually okay when the reviews are correct. However I feel these are true to size. They fit my right foot almost perfectly. But my left foot which is a 1/2 size bigger hung over the back. Luckily Zappos did a very easy exchange for me. I suggest ordering true to size on these!!

My 1st pair of Birkenstocks in almost 20 years. The foot bed is super hard, but not uncomfortable. I like the toe strap.

I bought these in Habana Oiled Leather about a year ago and have enjoyed them. They are actually the first pair of Birkenstocks that i own. I gave them light wear (maybe one day/week) from about May-September and they have held up well. I was able to try them on at a local store before ordering from zappos and i'm glad i did because otherwise i may not have gotten the correct size. I am usually a 7-7.5 but went with the 37 (which says it is a 6-6.5). I like this style because it doesn't make your feet look as wide as some of the others. My only real disappointment came from the comfort level especially when breaking them in. The first few wears were painful! Although, i think part of that may have been the fact that i transitioned from shoes with no support and then did a fair amount of walking. I had always heard that these were super comfortable but even after getting used to them they have fallen short of my expectation. Not bad but certainly not the best in terms of comfort.

Love these sandals, super comfy and cute style. My only complaint is that I’ve had them for almost five years now and they still turn my feet black when I wear them (I have them in the black oiled leather). It happened when I first got them and I was hoping that it would somehow wear off at some point, but alas, it has not. I do however continue to wear them because they are so cute and comfy.

While these are very cute there was something off in the fit as my r great toes kept having sharp pain when I would walk in them. My other Birkenstocks (different styles never hurt from day 1) so sadly these are going back

Had these for only 6 months and the toe strap has separated from the shoe, making the shoes unwearable. At $100 a pair. I was HOPING they would last longer!! They are great shoes - very comfortable and cute with everything, but too expensive for a 6 month life span

These are very nice sandals. I wear a size 9 and purchased a 39. They fit perfectly, so order a size bellow your shoe size. The color is a little more golden and the leather is shinier than shown in photos, but they are nice looking and I think they will wear well. Just be aware that the images aren’t the exact shade of color you’ll get.

I really wanted to love these but it’s more of a love hate. I think I should have gotten the narrows. I have very small feet at 5.5, so it’s sometimes felt that my feet are slipping around in the sandals and I have them on the tightest notch.

I have a flat foot, I pronate, and I have plantar fasciitis. I've been overhauling my shoe collection over the past few years to update it with more supportive options. This was my first venture into the Birkenstock brand, and I was not disappointed! The crisscross narrow straps provide a cute update to the classic Birkenstock aesthetic, they make it a little more feminine. The shoe itself is very supportive, although I sometimes have slight discomfort if I wear it for an entire day (12 hours)of standing , as the foot bed does start to feel a little hard after a bit. I will try the soft footbed Birkenstocks next, but I do love these!

I like the style, unfortunately it does not accommodate high insteps. I ordered the same size as my past Birkenstocks, yet my heel and toes were at the ends of the footbed.

I really like these sandals. I have been wearing the Gizehs for a few years, which I love, but the Mayari style is less bulky. I originally ordered the Yara because I wanted a backstrap but the straps wouldn't even buckle around my feet/ankles. However the Mayari straps are long/loose, so that's weird. I would prefer even more arch support but overall the footbeds are comfortable. Also, I ordered the Oiled Habana (dark brown) color and I'm pretty sure Zappos sent me the Oiled Tobacco (light brown) color. I think I prefer the lighter brown and probably would have chosen it if it had been an option while ordering. So I'm giving 4 stars because of the mixup and needing higher arches.

I always try to wear Birkenstocks and every time I have to return them because they just don't fit with my size 12 feet. Such a shame because I really want to wear them. The ridge under the toes fits at a weird place and makes my foot ache all the way to my ankle.
