There is some “breaking in” that has to happen. I have some slight irritation along the bottom inner edge of my foot by my arch that I’m hoping goes away with additional wear. Otherwise they feel and look great!!

I love the look of these sandals and really wanted them to fit me after I tried on my friend's (broken-in) 37's and they felt really comfortable. I am normally a 38 but since the 37 fit and the reviews said they ran big, I got the 37s. Although that was definitely the right size (38 would have been way too big), one of my feet is half a size bigger and that foot never felt right, almost cockeyed in the sole. And the toe ridge on the other foot was so prominent it made my foot numb after walking around the house for a few minutes. I adjusted both straps several times but could never get them to feel good, and I didn't want to gamble on them breaking in and feeling better since they are not cheap. So, back they went. Bummer, since I really like the style and the gold color was fun and flattering.

These sandals fit true to size. They were very comfortable. I say were, because one sandal broke and from what I remember some of the Mayari have manmade tops. I was on vacation and injured my toe, so they were imperative to comfort use. I tossed them.

Unfortunately, these were narrower than the normal Birks, so I wasn't able to wear them. I wish I could have because they were adorable. But, my daughter loves them and they fit her fine.

The shoes had great support, initially I bought a size 8 , too long tried 7-7.5 , unfortunately still too long in the length.

Loved the look of these but I'm missing the Papillio width! Got a size up to try and accommodate the narrower width of regular Birkenstocks but they are just too long and not quite wide enough. I wish Papillio was still making Mayari and Gizeh

I so badly wanted these to work! I like the design, Birkenstock comfort and support with a little more of a feminine touch. However, the loop for the big toe was simply too big, not hugging my toe enough, making it push into the next toe. After wearing them around the house for about an hour to try them out, they were just too uncomfortable for me. Sadly, they are being sent back.

I think the sizing is off with these shoes. I typically wear a size 8-8.5 and the 39 had about an inch of space in the back of the heel. I would suggest sizing down. I will be exchanging for the size down because the shoe is adorable and I can tell super comfortable!

I wore my first pair of Birks in '97 and the design has changed very little since then. Same comfy footbed, same breathability. And they go with everything. I'd probably go one size smaller next time. My toes have lots of room in front.

This shoe is so cute and I wanted to love it but the toe wrap is WICKED tight! I couldn’t even wear them long enough to break them in, it hurt so bad. Had purchased knock offs of the same and this was not an issue.. they didn’t have the arch support of Birkenstocks though. I hope one day I can find a good fitting Birkenstock!

These are awesome but they run BIG BIG BIG. I wear a 7/7 1/2 and I ordered that size. They are at least one size too big, maybe more. I will reorder a 6 and maybe even a second pair a size smaller than that.

These summer birks are very cute ! I usually wear a 8.5, so sizing down to a 38 in Birkenstock gave me a much closer fit.

This popular style just wasnt to my liking. I found the arizona to be much more supportive and good at keeping my feet in place without a lot of gripping.

Fit of footbed was fine; Birkenstock makes the best footbeds for those of us with arch (both long arch and metatarsal) problems. However, Birkenstock shoes are made for wide feet (which is typical in Germany), and so it is best if those of us with narrow feet buy a size down. On this style, the straps, which are adjustable with buckles, are stiff and uncomfortable. Have to return, too bad. Wish Birkenstock would look at getting elastic straps!

Fit amazing! Color a little Lighter and non-dimensional. I want nothing more than to fit them and wear them forever but they arrived with. Blue defect so they will be returned :(

Overall these are comfortable! I was under the impression these shoes run a size larger so order a size smaller, and I'd say that's true. I also thought, from researching online, these had a wider regular footbed than normal. I didn't find that to be true... my feet are not wide and I'm always a regular width in shoes but found my whole foot taking up the footbed of my new birks. I do have a bunion on my right foot and that fit comfortably, but if my feet were just a smidge wider I don't think I'd be able to wear them comfortably, so be aware if you've got wide feet!

I loved the style, but the fit was much larger then I expected. I typically wear an 8 wide, sometimes 8.5 so I ordered the 39. It was way too big. The width was great though. I am exchanging them for the 38.

The arch support on these is something to get used to! They recommend wearing these in short bursts until you get used to them. They are super cute for summer

I wear a 7B and have low arches. I bought these, the Florida’s and Arizona’s in 37R. Both these and the Florida’s felt a bit narrow (though they look okay) but I didn’t want to risk discomfort so I chose the traditional Arizona’s and use the last notch.

I loved the sandal but it is way too wide for my foot. I had to return them and I wish that Zappos would carry the narrow ones.
