At 44 and a life long lover of high heels, my feet are beginning to get cranky. I worried that these would be ugly shoes and I would be doomed to sensible footwear forever. But since these arrived, I haven't worn anything else. I can rock them with jeans, skirts, shorts, etc.; the silver color and chunky shape make them kicky. I am a size 8 and the 38 is perfect. Comfortable out of the box, and sooo perfect for summer!

Pretty white Birks. The color is somewhat opalescent. They are the dressiest looking Birkenstocks I've ever seen. Perfect to go with summer dresses.

I love these sandals! They are practically all I have worn since I got them. They are incredibly comfortable. I have problems with plantar fasciitis and even after a long day of walking in these sandals I have no pain. The color is great too. They go with everything.

I've never been a fan of the "granola" look but I love these sandals. So comfortable. I struggled with the sizing. I am a solid size 8 M, sometimes even a 81/2 but after reading the reviews decided to order size 38 in the narrow width. I do not ever wear a narrow shoe. When they arrived I still wasn't sure so I also ordered the 38 regular and the 39 narrow. I ended up keeping the original ones I ordered, 38 N. Even though I never ever wear a 7-71/2 shoe, the 38 was right for me. The narrow should be called regular and the regular should be called wide. The regular width is just too clunky looking. I got the onyx. It's a nice matte blue-steel gray color.

These offer great arch support! The toe strap is comfy, yet helps hold your foot in place well. I love these sandals because I get the comfort and support I love from birkenstocks, yet they are stylish enough to wear with a skirt.

I love these. The straps are so comfortable in their placement. I was concerned the toe loop would rub or just be plain annoying, but I don't notice it. Mayari has made me fall in love with Birkenstock again. Also, if you are even slightly narrow in width, get narrows!

I love these sandals! I usually wear a 41, regular width, and that's my perfect size in these, too. I tried a 41 narrow b/c Birkies look wide, but it was too tight. Compared to flimsy flip flops, these are supportive and do not slip and slide on the foot. Even going up and down stairs, I don't have to grip hard to keep them on. Yet they are very, very light. The birko flor material seems high quality; no one would ever guess it's not leather. The sole is stiff at first. I think it will take a while to break it in fully, which is good IMO b/c it means they won't wear out rapidly. The licorice color is a very nice slightly shiny, deep black--not patent, but not matte. I wear these with skinny jeans, and casual skirts and dresses. They are very "in" this summer, FWIW. Honestly, I have to resist wearing them every day!

Finally wore out my 3 strap Birks after 15 years, and needed some new sandals for summer. Always loved this style so decided to purchase them. Love everything about them. Comfortable - you do need to give them time to warm to your foot but they have great support in the meantime. I spend a lot of time on my feet at work and these were good the first day out of the box and will get better as time goes with continued wear.

This is the most comfortable thong-style shoe I have ever worn. I suffer from plantar fasciitis as well as nerve pain in my toes but do not feel any pain while wearing these shoes! I also wear Chacos and tried the leather "Stowe" style which didn't work for me.

I gave my mom these shoes for Mother's Day, and she really enjoyed them. The color goes with a lot of things. She has very high arches that cause foot and back problems and Birkenstocks are some of the only shoes that are actually comfortable for her to wear.

I purchased these for my 14 year old daughter. She loves them and wears them all the time. She said it took a couple of days to break them in but then they were perfect. She also has a wide foot and these worked great.

Ordered the Mayari along with the Gizeh Birko-Flor and the Yara. Kept the Mayari. The foot bed felt great on all the shoes. The Gizeh's ankle strap made the sandal look too big and heavy for my frame & legs. I loved the look of the Yari but the toe separator was unusually large and uncomfortable, even though I've been wearing thong sandals for a lifetime. The Mayari was the keeper...comfortable, supportive, cute. It won't prove as versatile as the Yari would have -- more casual, tough to dress it up -- but it felt wonderful. I'm a US size 6.5 and the 36 was perfect.

I love these! I had a bad flare-up of plantar fasciitis in both of my feet last fall, so I needed to buy supportive sandals for this summer. I tried the Gizeh Birko-Flors (the "thong"-style Birks), but the hard plastic piece that goes between the toes was too uncomfortable. I ordered these, and they were super comfortable right out of the box! The arch support is great. I am a solid 10.5, and the 41 fit me perfectly. I have found the leather that wraps around the big toe to be softer and looser than I expected, which was perfect - I was worried it would be too tight and would rub my toe funny. I ordered the Titanium color, which I love - it's this slightly green-silver, not too shiny, and will go with everything. Very glad I tried these after the disappointment of the Gizehs!

I have worn Birkenstocks for the past 20 years. I average 1 pair a year, sometimes 2. I wear them daily. My favorite sandal is the Arizona, but I decided to try out the Mayari. I was very pleased. It is a touch dressier which is nice for summer dresses. It is just as comfortable as the Arizona. I was worried that the toe would rub weird but not at all. Totally comfortable from day one. I will start making this a regular purchase. I did not have any issues with size because I have experience with Birkenstock sizes. You really should have yourself fit at a Birkenstock retailer to find your true size. I wear a 9 1/2 - 10 and wear a 39 in Birks.

I ordered these sandals in a size 37, I normally wear a size 6.5-7, but when I got them they were way too big. So, I re-ordered them in a size 36 and they fit perfectly! I bought the Stone color and they look great! They go with everything and are very, very comfortable! Best sandal I have ever owned, they slip on and off easily (but they stay on perfectly while walking). Quick shipping from Zappos, per usual!

I love these shoes! Just got my 2nd pair because I wore my first pair out. They are comfortable out of the box, if a bit stiff, and so great looking that I've gotten compliments every time I wear them. The silver makes them a bit cooler than the Birks your parents wore in the '70s and the support is unparalleled.

These shoes are amazing! They are comfortable and I rarely take them off. They are true to size and have great arch support.

Love this style! Especially love that my podiatrist was able to bulk up the arch support for me. These are now the only shoes I can wear, and I'm delighted they are so stylish. My friend's comments? "Those are Birkenstocks? I would have never guessed."

I have nothing but trouble with my feet and these Birkenstock Mayari are perfect. Felt great right out of the box, great support for walking long distances and I get nothing but compliments and the style. Now own three pairs in different colors from last year and planning on another pair this year. Simply the best in comfort and style!!!

Can't stop wearing 'em. They are so comfortable (the straps take a few wears to break in) and well, it's a trend now too! Comfy chic! I'm an 8.5 and wear a 38 in these. True to fit.

I ordered the Mayari in size 38 which was too long returned for the 37 which fit perfect. The are very comfortable and the arch is just what I need to prevent my foot from turning in. Of course I can't say enough about the amazing service you get from Zappos. Love that I can order a narrow. This is a new style for me but love them.

I love these! So easy to slip on and. Very comfortable and cute too! Not as difficult to wear in as the leather!

This is my first pair of Birks in many years- I used to live in them. I love the styling of the Mayari and the cool color options. I found the footbed VERY stiff upon the initial wearings, but I remember that "break-in" period with Birks and toughed it out. The cork is now conforming to my foot and there is more flex in the step. I will live in these this summer!
