This looks white online which is what I wanted, sadly its a off white/yellowish/goldish color. Don't get me wrong its cute, but I needed white. So I will be returning them and maybe getting the silver ones.

I couldn't possibly love these shoes more. I've never been particularly enthusiastic about the aesthetics of Birkenstocks, ever since the clog-style ones were en vogue when I was in high school. However, chasing after two toddlers all day left me desperate for a comfortable, slip-on shoe. I'm notorious for running around barefoot but recently my plantar fasciitis had been extremely bothersome, so with that in mind, I turned to Birkenstock. Well, I officially never want to wear another shoe. Fortunately, I had very little break-in time. I started wearing them the day they arrived, all day, around the house, at the park, to the grocery store, etc. Low impact stuff, but I put them on as soon as I stepped out of bed and left them on till I climbed back into it. I had a little bit of rubbing around the wider top strap, but not so much irritation that I couldn't continue to wear them. They were incomparably comfortable within a matter of days. Thankfully, I live in Southern California and I can contribute to wear these every day in perpetuity, because it doesn't rain and our frigid winter temps rarely drop below 70 degrees. Regarding the fit: I agonized over sizing because it's so inconsistent among brands. Before pregnancy expanded my already-large feet, I wore a size 10. Now I wear a size 11, and can't fit into a size 10 no matter what I do (RIP, old shoe wardrobe). My feet are average width, not especially wide. Despite the reviews the suggested sizing down or ordering narrow width, I opted to order my regular size 11, standard width. I'm glad I did. A smaller size or narrower shoe would have been too small. For me, these are true to size. I'm now considering ordering them in every color.

These are my most favorite shoes ever! I suffer from plantar fasciitis, and these are the only shoes that I've found so far that give me relief.

I have wanted these sandals for the longest time in the Stone Burkibuc, but I never saw a pair of those available in the narrow width. I decided to try a pair of the regular width Stone Birkibuc shoes and they were way too wide for my feet. These shoes were comfortable to walk in (thanks to the straps), but the footbed of the sandal was almost an inch wider than my foot, so the sandals looked bulky on me. If you have narrow feet, you should stick to the narrow width sizes, even if it means compromising on the color. I gave up on Stone Birkibuc and ordered Golden-Brown Birkoflor in narrow. The narrows fit perfectly, and don't look bulky. I am really happy with the color too. The picture in the description does not do this color justice! The gold is very subdued, so the shoe appears neutral rather than metallic. I love these shoes so much. They are perfect for keeping my high arches comfortable all day. You should get them!

These shoes are simply amazing. I'm a 35-yr-old who is beginning to experience pain from bunions. My podiatrist suggested birks and I rolled my eyes. But I decided to order them. They are super cute. And I have worn them most of my waking hours for the last several weeks, since I got them. I have relatively high arches and somewhat wide feet and they are perfect. I cannot overemphasize how comfortable they are and how much my feet and knees are thanking me for giving them the support they need to function properly. My only regret is that they're sandals and soon it will be too cold to wear them!

After buying the same pair of flip flops 3 or 4 times, only to have them break on me after about a year each time, I decided to upgrade to a higher quality sandal. I am so happy with these! I got them in the Black color and they look great both when I'm out running errands in my workout clothes and with jeans and even some more casual dresses. I ordered both this style and the Gizeh to try, but preferred these because I think they can be dressed up a little better than the Gizeh. I have flat, wider feet and the normal width fits perfectly. They do take a few days to break in, so plan accordingly! After about 3-4 wears, they were totally comfortable but I did have some pain, especially after the first 2 days of wearing them. If you are buying these for a trip, just break them in beforehand! I know these sandals will be with me for years, so glad I made the switch!

This is my first pair of Birks. My son has worn them, but I had a hard time getting past the clunky look of them. Have been wearing White Mountain Carlys instead. I am having foot problems and the Carlys feel good-but need a replacement and bought these and love them! I wish that Birkenstock would make their sandals in a lighter, more flesh tone leather sandal, and I would buy those too!

This is the first time I've ordered this style of Birkenstock.They are very comfortable and offer good support. I am a size 10 and have a somewhat wide foot, although I do not have to order a wide size in all shoes. The shoes fit perfectly and run true to size for me while offering a footbed that accommodates my whole foot - nothing hanging over the shoe.I don't often wear a shoe that has a strap between my toes but this one is very comfortable, without and sharpness.

Loved that I was able to find this product at Zappos! Looked all over and other distributors and couldn't find this color. You Rock!

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. I was never a fan of the original style but I wanted to get something with a solid reputation and that would be good sturdy support for my feet (which aren't as young as they used to be). I like the style of these so I took a chance on them. I thought that the piece that goes between my toes might be uncomfortable but it isn't at all - I hardly notice it. These have been very comfortable from the moment I put them on. I like that they don't slap the bottom of my feet like flip-flops do yet they slip on easily. I usually wear a size US10 and the size 41 in these fits perfectly.

Other reviews said these shoes run large - I assumed that included length. I ordered down a size and had to exchange for my regular size to accommodate the length of my foot. The adjustable straps are terrific and there's no need for "break in" time; these were comfy right out of the box for me. I ordered Monday and already have a pair that fits thanks to Zappos' fantastic customer service! Great job again, Zappos!

These are the most comfortable sandals ever. The color is darker than I expected- I thought from the pictures there wouldn't be much contrast between the straps and the footbed. I would call them a dark gold rather than golden brown (in case color is extremely important to you) but the comfort far outweighs anything else! You can walk long distances in this style because of both the great footbed and also the criss-cross toe strap, which really keeps them in place and provides stability. I love having a warm weather shoe that allows me to walk an entire city like I'm wearing sneakers!

Bought these for my granddaughter. The following quote says it all: "They came!!! They are the perfect ones I have been wanting and the perfect size!" Thank you Zappos for your help with this gift for a teen with a growing foot. We expected she would wear a 37 N, but a 38 Regular did best. Glad we relied on more than just reviews.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks, and I love them. These sandals have replaced flip flops for me on a daily basis; my feet could no longer tolerate the lack of support. No more achy feet and shins! No more leg fatigue! They needed no break in time, and the footbed cradles my feet in a wonderful way! I have narrow heels but love plenty of room for my toes; the Mayari fits both needs! I usually wear a 10, but the 40 (9.0-9.5) fits perfectly. I'm thrilled I finally tried Birks!

I love these shoes! These are my first pair of Birks, and I'm so glad I got them. They're super comfortable. I wore them on a trip where I was literally walking 5-6 hours a day, and my feet didn't hurt at all. I wear them almost everyday now because they are just so comfy and easy. I've gotten many compliments, as well! I'm usually a size 6.5, but the 37 was too wide, so I got the 36 and they were perfect.

I love these sandals!!They fit perfect and are not dorky looking. Actually very stylish, I get compliments on them all the time. Ordered size according to size chart. Plan on buying more soon!

Very comfortable with low break in time compared to the all leather shoes. I typically wear a US Size 8 sneaker and the size 37 fits perfectly. I found the straps on the Arizona don't tighten enough and these do. They also aren't as physically or visually heavy on the foot as my black leather Arizonas. The brown is versatile in my wardrobe.

I bought these to wear to a casual wedding, and they're perfect! They're dressier than a traditional Birkenstock, but so comfortable once they're broken in. Id say it took a while, but it's totally worth it. I like having a comfy shoe that's a little cuter than the normal "comfort" sandal. Also, I'm normally a wide, and they fit perfectly.
