It took a few tries to figure out the European sizing and get the right size for my foot, but once I got that figured out the rest was history. I bought two pairs of these for a trip to Italy and it was the best thing I ever did. It takes a day or two of wearing them around the house to get used to the firm support, but after that, they will become your favorite shoes. These provided amazing support and comfort for 5+ miles a day of walking on cobblestones, uneven sidewalks and even dirt. I bought the onyx, which is a gorgeous gray/blue color that goes with just about everything. I get so many compliments. And I also got the golden brown which has a nice sheen to it for a more feminine look.

Nothing is better than a broken-in Birk! If you're new to Birkenstock, try to remember they are a bit rigid straight out of the box. But once you break them in, they will be your best friend! No matter the style, they're all comfortable. I was a little hesitant about the toe strap on this particular design, but it is just as comfortable as the Arizona. Can't wait to stockpile more designs!

This was my second pair of Birkenstocks and I absolutely love them. They're so cute and comfortable. They look great to wear all year around and you can dress them up or down.

I have wide feet from multiple pregnancies, so now my feet overlap regular flip-flops. I've never purchased Birks before, because I thought they were too masculine looking. Bought these Birkenstock Mayaris out of desperation for something that fit, and found these to be so cute and comfortable. I am converted for life!

I needed sandals for city walking that didn't give me blisters and these fit the bill. They are incredibly supportive and comfortable. I ordered the mocha birkibuc color for versatility but I am now coveting the antique lace color. Found these to be true to size. I bought Gizeh's and sized down due to reviews, but ultimately found that both pairs were most comfortable in my normal size.

Very comfy, very stylish. Occasionally they make my feet hurt after walking in them a lot because the arch is a touch too high for me. Otherwise a great summer shoe.

All I wore in high school were Birks. After seeing them all over the place in Germany this summer I had to get another pair. They are just as great as I remembered. I have no idea why I stopped wearing them.

I bought the Birkenstock Mayari in the silver Birko-Flor. This was my first pair of non-leather Birkenstocks, so I am still curious about the longevity of the straps. I have worn then a lot over the summer, and so far I am very pleased. I am a Birkenstock fan, and I like the more feminine styling of the Mayari. I purchased this shoe with the narrow footbed, as I do with all my Birkenstocks, and it fit exactly as expected in my usual Birkenstock size. I am pleased with my purchase.

Love love love these Birkenstocks! They are the perfect fit for my narrow feet. If only they were available in more colors in narrow. They are super comfy & can wear them all day long walking around town. Had lots of compliments too!

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks, and boy did I choose well! I feel like the over-the-toe style provides a more secure fit than the regular two-band style. Plus it's a nice little different detail. The silver color is a great neutral. I truly wore these all summer long. If you've worn Birkenstocks before and know your size, I think they're true to size. If you've never tried them before, do a little research or try on a pair to establish correct sizing.

I absolutely love my Birkenstocks, however, I normally wear an 8.5 (womens) but with these I ordered a 37 and they fit perfectly. The sizing is just a bit off. I have extremely high arches and these shoes do wonders. I love them and will be buying them in another color!

Perfect straight out of the box! If you've had any other Birkenstocks before, you know they are worth every penny. Do not settle for anything less. The toe strap is not even an issue and the adjustable straps allow you to decide how tight you want the sandles.

Although I have had a pair of Arizona Birkenstocks since 1992, they are a little crunchier than my normal style. A recent bout of plantar fasciitis had me wearing them a lot more, and not just around the house. So I decided it was time to get a pair in a color and style that I preferred. I tried both the Gizeh and the Mayari in two sizes each. I generally wear between and 6.5 and a 7. I have narrow feet, high arches and long toes. The Mayari 37 Narrow is a pretty good fit. I could use more length in the toe, but the 38 seemed the same in toe length, but had gobs of room in the heel cup behind my actual heel. The Gizeh did not fit as well.

I have naturally high arches and my doctor wanted me to wear sandals with support (no more flip flips!) I absolutely LOVE these sandals and they get more comfortable the more broken in they are. At first they are a little stiff.

These are super comfortable once the leather is broken in a bit. I found they rubbed across the toe and at the top of the lower strap until I had given them a few wears. Otherwise, they're typical Birkenstocks- they conform to the foot beautifully and are perfect for wearing all day.

Very comfortable sandal. I bought my Birkenstick Mayori sandals after returning from a vacation trip that required a lot of walking. I had major blisters on both feet and vowed to go for comfort over style on my next excursion. At first glance the Mayori is not a feminine looking shoe, so I went to get a pedicure and had my toes blinged out the wazoo to compensate. Now for comfort, it is undenyingly a very comfortable shoe! The toe strap cross over leather piece is not even noticeable while wearing , I was worried it would irritate my big toe, but nope. I could walk for hours in these babies since my foot is so snugly seated in the footbed. One downside is that I noticed that the front of the shoe scoops up a little sand as I walk along sometimes, I feel the need to stop and dump out the grit from time to time. It may be my way of walking that causes that, I don't know. Otherwise, if you are looking for comfort, no one can argue that Birkenstock Mayori is a top contender for first place comfort sandal award.

These shoes are great! I love the look of them, the color is great. They are perfect summer shoes, and luckily for me in the summer are office appropriate! The only thing is that as many Birks do, they run large. I kept them, but could've sized down, I think.

Birkenstock are a must. These are so comfortable. You can dress them up or down. Love the fit !! I need more pairs ��

Loved this shoes once they mold to your feet the are amazing and you will never want to take them off these are my second pair of birks and I'm in love with them I wouldn't ask for another sandal again they run pretty true to size and I love how there are many atleta to choose from!!
