I love these sandals! I used to be a diehard flip flop person - flip flops everyday all day. The planets obviously were aligned the day I had the brilliant idea that I needed these Birkenstock sandals. The first moment I put them on my feet said to me - hey lady what the heck have you been doing to us all these years in those no support flip flops?! They felt custom made for my feet. Since that day I have rarely put any other shoes on my feet. I got a black pair so they will go with practically everything. They are well worth the price. I am in love.

I bought this in black oil took a couple of days for feet to get used. Perfect toe didn’t bother me and I have wide foot ordered regular. I will note the buckles aren’t a shiny silver but more a matte pewter. I exchanged an received same buckle....

I love this sandal, but I did not know that you should buy a narrow if you have a normal width. I wear them most of the time. Very comfortable

My first pair and so comfortable. Not entirely sure if I have the right size - I’m a 10 and purchased the 41 but seems a bit large and not sure the arch is in the right place. That said. So comfortable and will definitely buy more. Frustratingly, my dog likes them too and found one in his crate with the strap chewed :-(

Love these! My first pair of Birks. (I'd been wearing the cheap knock-offs and although they work, I noticed over time the support is non-existent and they overall don't age well) The Mayari however is fabulous! I was a little afraid Birks wouldn't live up to the reviews and my expectations. But I am so pleasantly surprised. The quality of Birks is indeed superior as well the support. Love the color, feel, fit, everything! When a 2nd pair is in my budget I will get another color!

I purchased these for my granddaughter. She Loves, loves, loves them. The Antique Lace color looks like a pearl color to me which is terrific with a tan and goes with just about anything casual. This is her second pair in this style. She's a dancer and dances barefoot several hours a day and she has to take good care of her feet. So these shoes are great.

I live in Birks and these no different. I love the fact that they are leather, that is my preference. I have worn these non-stop right out of the box.

My first pair of Birkenstocks and it definitely won’t be my last. I read a TON of reviews and agree these run big. I typically wear a 6 1/2 or 7 and the 36 fits perfect! I had no “break-in” period at all, these were super comfy from the moment I took them out of the box. Thank you Zappos for your super fast shipping and great customer service!

I've been putting off purchasing Birkenstocks for awhile now even though I really needed a comfort sandal. I finally bought the Mayari because of the style and glad I did. They are very comfortable and relieved any aches from wearing flat sandals all day. I purchased the oiled leather because I prefer leather. I usually wear 8-8.5 but the 38 in the Mayari is perfect.

As always, birks is a great brand and worth the money. My arches feel so much better walking around all day as opposed to my regular flat sandals. These are a great investment.

I have searched for a good pair of "universal" shoes for months. These are exactly what I have been looking for! They hurt my toes when I first put them on, but after walking around the house for a while, they softened. They took a couple of wears to break in, but it was worth the risk. I am in love with these shoes!

I've worn these shoes for 6 months. Initially they felt awesome. However, I noticed even taking a short walk to my mailbox, the leather around the big toe rubs uncomfortably. Yesterday, I walked 1 mile and I had blisters on both toes. I did not notice this discomfort until ~6 months of wearing the shoe. Thus, it's a great shoe for school or work, but not for walking.

I love them. This is the first pair in this style but I love how soft the leather is. I still have to break them in but overall very comfortable. It looks like every year I must have a new pair that’s how much I like them :)

Love the shoe! It was very stiff when right out of the box. I didn’t know (and new box design doesn’t say) that you should wear an hour or so a day and then increase your time. But my second pair of Birks didn’t do this at all. But regardless, I love the support they provide and can wear them all day!

This style is appropriate for casual or dress. I have a wide foot and the medium fits perfectly. I have had 4 pairs of this style over the years and they wear very well. Extremely comfortable.

I have always been beyond satisfied with Birkenstocks, having worn the Florida and Gizeh styles for years before purchasing these Mayaris. I have literally walked holes in them in the past with no compromise in comfort or support—I’m talking five and ten miles daily, no issues. These are my summer alternative to sneakers. I do consistently find that on my first longer-distance or full-day wear I get hot spots where the leather hits my instep and right behind the ball of my foot, but a little preventive bandaid application makes that a minimal discomfort. I also love that this style is a little more minimal than some of the other Birk models but still slip-on and sturdy. I’m small-framed, so it’s nice not to feel like I’m wearing paddles on my feet :)

Love everything about them except that the strap between the toes is stiff and uncomfortable. I'm guessing they'd soften up, but I just won't buy things any more that aren't totally comfortable. It's a shame, because the rest of the sandal is great -- nice and wide, and I love that the straps are adjustable. But... they're going back.

I love these shoes but I found that the narrow ones I had to go a size up. Normally I wear size 40. The narrow ones look better on my feet. These are my favorite sandal. They have great arch support. I wear them everyday even in the winter(inside my house). I usually buy the brown ones but tried black this time. Love this color too.

My 2nd pair! I needed to replace my older ones. Got the the silver, chic looking.

I hadn’t bought Birkenstocks in years, and I’m so glad I came back to them! Comfortable and not too old ladyish. I was unsure about the birko-flor material, but so far I have been pleased with it. Has a break in period similar to leather and cleans easily with a damp cloth. I only wish there were more styles offered in the narrow width. Very happy with my purchase!
