These Birkenstocks are great! I've been buying them for years, and the quality never wavers a bit, including this latest pair from Zappo's! This style, the Grenada, is slightly cuter than the regular Arizona in my opinion. The cutouts in the leather give them some femininity and style! As for comfort: I have extremely flat-as-a-pancake feet, and Birkenstocks have very pronounced (and firm) arches! This took some getting used to once upon a time, but the shape and position of the footbed just feels nice and natural after awhile, and the extreme quality craftsmanship and durability of Birkenstocks just keeps me coming back. I wear them almost daily year-round, and I can get like five years out of a pair! The most vulnerable part of these shoes seem to be the cork soles. I very highly recommend hitting these with some Cork Renew(?) or cork sole sealer of some kind straight out of the box and again whenever the cork looks scuffed or exposed. This will greatly extend the life of your Birks. Protect your investment! Like most high-quality, durable leather shoes, these will probably require a bit of breaking in. I usually experience some tenderness and mild blistering at the top of my arches, which goes away after about a week or two. Like I said, I have pitifully flat feet, so your experience may be different here. The shoe feels stiff at first but softens up nicely after a couple weeks. This is a beautiful, well-made shoe by a great company!

I love this sandal, but had to return it because it runs large. I usually wear a 6.5 and ordered a 37 based on the size chart. I had to return it, and Zappos did not have the 36 in stock in the color I wanted. I ordered it elsewhere, and the 36 fit perfectly even though the size chart says that a 36 is equal to a 5-5.5! My daughter had the same experience and had to go down a size. Other than that, it's a very comfortable sandal and Zappos customer service is great. Now that I know my correct Birkenstock size, I'm sure that I will order again from Zappos!

I have worn Birkenstock's for years, but always purchased the Arizona style. This time I decided to try this style for a little more feminine look and I love it! This style seems to cuddle my foot a little more and feels more secure on my foot. It is very attractive and has the great support and comfort of Birkenstock.

Fit is perfect! I wear a 9.5-10 in nearly all shoes, but a 40 in Birkenstock; these fit great. They are extremely comfortable straight out of the box. And the style is very cute!

Love these birks. I got the Tobacco color and it's a very light brown neutral color and not the splotchy darker spots as pictured. Wore them on vacation straight out of the box and walked a ton in them without even a red spot or blister. I have wider feet and still had to adjust the straps to the tightest holes. These are the perfect sandals that look cute and feminine while also providing great comfort and support.

Love the shoes. But the color is way off. Appears to be a dark brown, but is actually a lighter, smoky brown.

Fits a little big and a lot wide, like all Birkenstocks. This is great for me because I'm in between 5.5 and 6, so the 36 is perfect! Also have very wide feet, and bunions. These fit them no problem. Good thing if you have bunions too: the strap DOES cover them, unlike so many sandals. It's a nice airy design, comfortable in the Santa Fe summer heat, and they're lightweight compared to most Birks, as well, which is very pleasant. Love the soft footbed, recommend it. Very comfy for walking or standing, any length of time. I bought the "Tobacco" color, and the picture showing as I write this review is true to shade. It's exactly the lovely soft faun color you see here.

I wanted a pair of slip-on sandals. I haven't worn Birkenstocks since the 1970s, but figured I'd give them a shot. I got the "regular" width, which fit fine on my D width feet. The length was just right.I really like that the heel is not wide, which is a problem for me in many shoes, since my heel is not especially wide. I wore them to a party the second day I had them, and the first time I wore them out of the house. I was on my feet, both indoors and out, for five hours (!) and I did just fine. The straps are a little stiff, but I expect them to soften over time. I have never worn slip-on shoes before...only Crocs in the house. I don't think I'd wear them for a day of walking, because it takes more foot energy to keep them on, but they are surprisingly comfortable and I really like how they look on my feet. Good support, and I speak as one who wears orthotics in my closed shoes.

I've worn Birkenstocks since the early 80's. I was hesitant to try the soft foot bed because of some reviews. I'm really happy with the shoe. The foot bed is comfortable but feels a little different from the orginal foot bed. I like a natural material for the upper and the oiled leather is very nice and softer than expected. The suede upper is still my favorite but the oiled leather is beautiful and reasonably soft out of the box. I wanted a style that would work in the office and this fits the bill. Much prettier than the Arizona. I think the suede Arizona is the most comfortable Birkenstock ever made. I will purchase more of the oiled leather Granadas and more Arizonas. I wish Birkenstock would make more styles with a suede upper but I'm happy that they have styles that are suitable for the office.

I love these ! I wear a 6.5 or 7 usually and ordered the 37 narrow. I have skinny feet and they fit and look great, which I think sometimes it makes hard to wear birks ! Very comfy - no regrets on this purchase ! I almost didn't get the narrow because this style is a little less bulky but I am glad that I did.

I love these sandals! This is my 3rd pair of Birkenstocks and my 1st pair of the "soft footbed" Worth EVERY penny! I highly recommend this sandal.

Love these. The soft footbed is a plus. I can be on my feet all day as a teacher and my feet aren't killing me. Great style, too.

They run big. I really like the shoe but will be exchanging for smaller size.

This is my second pair of the soft footbed Birkenstocks. I bought the Arizona first, but I like the style of these better, they seem a little more feminine. They are so comfortable, I'm going to become that person who wears them in the winter with socks!

I purchased these sandals for my mom for Mother's Day. She thought they were pretty. Normally, she wears a size 9. However, since I own 3 pair of Birkenstocks already, I knew that they tend to run a full size larger than my other shoes. The size 8 fit her perfect.

I wore birkenstocks in the 90s and loved them... I still love them (although there are a lot more styles to choose from, like this one!) I didn't notice that I purchased a soft footbed, so apparently that doesn't make too much of a difference. I'm between sizes so went up a size, they're a little big but o tightened the straps to the tightest setting and it's fine.

It took a few days to break in the top straps (especially the one higher up my foot), which caused a little soreness at first, but now they are very comfortable. I have a slightly wider than normal foot, and the regular width fit perfectly.

These are a more feminine style than the more traditional version. Very comfortable. The narrow for my daughters narrow foot perfect and she can still wear a sock if she wants. The leather is beautiful and will wear well over time. Great purchase!

So Far So Good! due to rain I have only worn them once. But like all Birkenstocks they were relatively comfortable from the start.

I've owned alot of Birkenstocks in my life but this was the first time I've ever tried the soft footbed---wow, what a difference! They were super-comfortable right out of the box with none of that "wearing in period" where your arches kind of hurt for a few days as the sandal molds to your foot. FYI, the Habana oiled leather has a nice suede-y feel to it and looks prettier in person than pictured.
