Great, sharp lookin' sneakers. My son wears them every day. I tried a less expensive brand, but they just didn't hold up the way Stride Rites do. He loves them so much I ordered the next size up too.

This is the third pair of the same shoes. My son cannot go anywhere without his "blue shoes." He will not wear any other kind of shoes. I have tried to get him to wear many other types; however, he will cry and scream just to get to his blue shoes! They fit him very well and he is a very extra wide with a now size 10. He loves these and we love that he is happy in them and they feel great on him too.

This was my 5 year old's third pair in this style! He loves them! I love that he loves them and can put them on by himself!

Both of my boys needed new shoes. They both have wide feet. These were the ONLY shoes available and they both love them!

Good fit - easy to get on/off and no slipping off. Great tread for running and kicking, holding up even in wash. Son made them his new favorite shoe.

Nice looking and fitting shoe for Grandson. The price was good too. Customer Service is excellent. And of course the shipping arrangement works great! Recommended Zappos to another friend just this week.

These shoes are easy to get on and off and fit my soon to be 4-year-old's wide feet well. I got them in the extra wide size. He likes them because they look like cleats and they make him speedy. Stride Rites are always a good shoe for us.

These shoes were chosen for my 3.5 year old son, as a pair of athletic shoes that could be used in an under 5 years old soccer program that prohibits cleats. The Extinctions have knobby soles, and offer excellent traction on natural turf. My son and purportedly his friends at school love the shoes. He'll show them off while we're picking up lunch. My son says they're very comfortable, and could (correctly) put them on by himself by the 4th wear. He calls them his fast shoes and loves that they have ooze colored accents. He wears his shoes hard, but it's been a month and the Extinctions are holding up extremely well (which has been our experience with Stride Rite shoes).

I purchased the Stride Rite runners for my four year old grandson, and they were a big hit. Great quality and fit. His teacher said he's much more confident on the playground with his new shoes, very easy to get on and off.

I loved these sneakers, they look awesome with jeans or sweatpants-, plus they weigh little compared to others. It is also my son's favorite, if given the choice he would wear these everyday.

Great shoe for kids with x-wide shoes. My little one really has x-wide feet and it’s so hard to find nice shoes that fit him well. This has been one of those shoes, very stylish and cool as well.

Fabulous shoes! My son loves them...even leaves them on all day, which is a rarity. They are super easy to get on and off...not just because of the closures, but they open enough that you don't have to squish his feet to get them on. And they look cool too!

Very cute sneaker that mimics a "big boys" style. I ordered the extra wide, but the instep is still too narrow.

I love these shoes. They are "cool" enough for my preschooler without having the ubiquitous Disney characters or flashing lights. They are comfortable and fit well. My only complaint is that the panels are lined mesh, instead of the more solid exterior "skeleton" material, which means these are not great for rainy days as the socks will get wet. Otherwise, we love them and they are a great price, too!

Bought these for my toddler who wears them daily. Less than 3 months later they are showing wear around the cuff. Disappointed in quality.

Purchased this for my 4 year old son who has a medium to narrow foot. This shoe was way too wide for him -- heel was slipping in the back. Also ordered the Stride Rite Accelerator H and L which fits and may be a better choice if your little one has feet that tend to be a little slimmer. Love the look of this shoe, and the navy would hide lots of dirt, etc. but the fit just wasn't there.

Much narrower than other Stride Rite shoes. My son's feet are extra wide, and would not fit into these. I had him fit at a Stride Rite store, and I had the right size shoe, these just were not wide enough. I ended up getting a half size larger, but should have gone with a different shoe.

I've purchased these shoes before for my son. He loves them so I thought I would get him a larger size. The shoes are very durable. They provide great support for a child's foot. I don't think you could find a better deal. The shoes are very reasonable compared to other brands and companies.

These are the best pair of shoes that I have bought for my son. He has wide feet so the xw worked great for him. I don't know how his feet didn't grow but.... they lasted him 7 months with only a tiny rip in the tongue of each shoe.

My son has been using these shoes for years and as he grows I keep buying the bigger sizes. They are his favorite shoes and he says they are very comfortable. Too bad they stop at size 12.

My son is the world's toughest kid on shoes. He can disintegrate a pair of discount store sneakers in less than a month. Not so with Stride Rites. These Extinction shoes are going strong after six months of very hard wear. They fit him well, don't allow any rolling out or rolling in of his feet, provide good traction on a variety of surfaces - and they haven't marked my floors even once. Stride Rites are the only shoes my son grows out of instead of destroys, which makes them well worth their price in my book. We'll be back to Zappos for more.

Love these shoes - my son does too and they help his super sweaty feet. Before with his cheap shoes, his socks would be really wet/damp and they are not like that with these shoes. Love them and we are a Stride Rite addict now!
