I wanted to love these sandals and there is a lot to love - cool design, comfy footbed. But the problem is that even though they fit properly in the length and width, the straps are way too large for my foot, and are not adjustable. The result is that my foot slides around a lot. I now have the ankle strap tightened as far as possible, and they are still loose. Also, after only two months, they have already started to fall apart - the lining on the straps is coming off, and the tread is partially worn off. Not cool for such expensive shoes. I don't know that I'll buy Naot again.

These are beautiful and very comfortable sandals as described. On the 3rd day of wearing them the lining began to unravel, detach and fray. I will return them

This was the perfect shoe for what I needed: comfort & style. But it was the most narrow shoe I have ever tried on in my life, and I was so disappointed to send them back after my toes and skin were bulging out all over! I wish they came in wide. I don't know anyone that could fit in these tiny things!

Cute shoes, but the sole is thin and the straps feel flimsy. It's not what I would have expected from Naot. In addition, the shoes were narrower than size.

I have had a pair of Naot Doriths in the past and worn them for years. Ordered the same size. Not only are they smaller than the other pair I have in the same size (did not become apparent until I started walking and noticed my toes kind of hitting the edge) but the ankle straps are different lengths on the new pair (right vs left). I foolishly threw away the box because I assumed I would have no issues with shoes I knew so well. So, I don’t think I can return them. Don’t make the same mistake!

You sent a pair of mismatched shoes. One shoe was size 9; the other shoe was USED and a size 8.

So the problem with this shoe is the fastening strap. It needs to be at least twice as long as it is currently. I am typically a medium width leaning toward narrow if anything & while I’m not fat nor flat footed, I have a low to moderate arch and these were impossible to fasten. I pulled the entire strap out & then the tip of the strap was barely long enough to reach back through the metal loop. I still needed enough strap to go over the other half of my foot bridge to fasten on the side. The strap reached to mid bridge of my foot. My husband even helped me because I’d been looking so forward to these sandals working out & just thinking I was maybe having a dork fish moment. Bummer! Absolute no go. I don’t know how they work for anyone unless I got a faulty pair which, at this price point I’d hope not.

These sandals are not what they used to be. This is my third pair of Dortith sandals and within three seasons of wear the foot bed has basically disintegrated and cracked at all flex and pressure points. The first two pair I have are 8 and 10 years old, still in great condition with perfect footbeds and hardly any sign of wear. They have obviously in the past few years gone with a cheaper and substandard made footbed and kept the price as high as the quality bed. Definitely not worth the cost anymore, which is very unfortunate because otherwise there are the perfect sandal.

I love the Naot brand, I have 3 pairs in this style. They’re very comfortable and run more on the narrow side which is perfect for my feet. Beautifully crafted sandal. Unfortunately the last 2 pairs I ordered didn’t fit properly/the left sandal upper was bigger leaving my foot to flop in the sandal. For the price they have to fit perfectly.

I really wanted to love this shoe. It looked comfortable, yet cute. When you wear a US size 4, your options are usually limited to children’s or old lady styles. So, I was very excited for a cute shoe in my size. But THE SIZING IS A LIE! I ordered a 4 (my usual size) and the footbed was a full inch too long. Zappos has this labeled as “35/US 4”, but it really should be “35/US 5”. This mistake is reflected on Zappos’ size conversion chart also. US 4 should equal EU 34, not EU 35.

So sad! These are not the Naot Doriths that we have loved in the past. The leather looks and feels like plastic. The strappy area is narrower and less flexible. After owning and loving 4 pairs of Doriths over the years, I will not be keeping these recently-ordered ones.

**IMPORTANT PLEASE READ** This shoe bed is made of latex! If you have a latex allergy do not buy. It isn’t listed anywhere in the description so I wanted to write this review to Save anyone else who may have a latex allergy. I’ve had these shoes for a year and started noticing my feet tingling and becoming stingy and red after wearing them toward the end of last summer but I couldn’t figure out why. I wore them again this week forgetting that they had started to do that. I had such a terrible allergic reaction and my feet burned so bad they felt on fire. My friend knowing I’m allergic to latex asked if they could possibly have latex in them. I didn’t think so but I looked it up to see if the shoe by any chance has any latex. Turns out the footbed where your bare foot lies on top of, IS made of latex!! It does not mention that anywhere in the description of the shoe on Zappos site. I had no idea. I’m very upset and hoping no one else with a latex allergy buys these.

I bought these identical sandals 3 years ago in the same size and traveled immediately in them thru the French countryside and then later in Paris. They fit perfectly and were extremely comfortable. I wore them throughout the year living in Florida almost constantly and then wore them for 2 weeks on my trip in Cuba. Aside from the comfort they held up thru many heavy rain storms. The reason I ordered these new ones is that they are beginning to look a bit worn but the comfort is still there. The ones I ordered do not fit-same size and colors-they are too narrow and the high strap does not even go across my instep. The leather is also stiffer Shame! The quality is not there! I love my "originals".

I wish I could wear these supportive and pretty sandals, but they run a little narrow for my wider foot. The material is a little hard but I imagine they will soften up.

The problem is with my feet, not the product. With the shape of my leg/ankle, the strap in front of the ankle is too tight.

I can rely on the Dorith to fit well, provide support and last a few seasons. It is classy enough to wear with dresses and sturdy enough for every day. Never disappoints.

I bought these shoes about 10 years ago and wore them out. I decided to buy them again, and they are so comfortable. The first time I wore them was at Disneyland, where I walked 20,000 steps and felt no discomfort. They are a bit pricey, and the stitching was a little crooked for the cost, but I would buy them again.

Naot can’t be beat ! This style just had too many straps ~ kept a different style of Naot instead.

Best, most comfortable sandals I’ve ever owned!!

I was looking for a dressier sandal and these look more casual, but they were so comfortable I kept them anyways. The sole is very soft with lots of cushion and arch support. Very well made.

Actually very slight arch support which suits my feet. I have a few pairs of this sandal and they are comfy for me and good for walking. I find them comfortable and stylish. My go-to footwear are Naot, Josef Seibel and AllBirds tree breezers.
